Like a flashback to 2001, when I was still a Kmart shopper, walking into a major retailer and only filling 1/2 my list. I have not been in a Walmart for a number of years, but he grocery section was full of outs, or entire shelves being filled to look full. An entire shelving unit filled with 2 kind of generic cooking oils, no selection and name brands are near empty or totally nonexistent. I did find the Wesson oil, on the bottom shelf, behind a side-stack. The staff was really working there hearts to keep it going. Everyone was very nice, and wanted to help. I was not the only frustrated customer, yet I am not a daily shopper. This has to be really difficult when all other shopping was knocked out , by the ???? of the Walmart. It was a busy afternoon, and the store seams quite comfortable to what I deal with at my preferred shopping choice.By Shawn Giesick (2 months ago)Horrible experience every time I go here! Managers are useless, the cashiers are mostly rude! They herd you in like cattle, to steal your money! The deals posted, are not available in store! More often than not, you have to have do price overrides! The managers are too busy standing around doing nothing. If I could rate zero I would! Spend your money elsewhere, or take the time to go to the heights, customers should be treated better than this! At least 20 cameras on you, yet ask to see your receipt at the door? Why are you treating people who spend their hard earned money as thieves? ????By My Familia (4 months ago)Had to go buy a new car battery for our daughter at the Billings, MT West End location. The two gentleman working at 7pm on 12/20 in the Auto Area were both INCREDIBLE!! WIsh I would have gotten both of their names. One had a nick name of OBI-WAN- Both SO helpful especially as busy as they both were with the extreme cold snap and last minute shoppers they were also assisting. THANK YOU for your excellent help tonight!!By Lori Trafford (a month ago)We visit Walmart a few times a week for various reasons. We have never had any problems. We actually prefer the self checkout because the lines are shorter and even if there is a bit of a line, with the number of self checkouts it goes fast.By Lucy Ellefson (a week ago)Don’t like self checkout! It was always welcoming to visit with checker and appreciated the personnel inquiring if I found everything. Personnel working the floor always seemed to be visiting for an extended period of time and I would get tired of waiting!By Irene White (a month ago)

Stopped in for one item that took 3 minutes to find, and cost $1.50, in the hardware area. Went to check out and found 14 assisted checkout aisles without anyone working them and 24 ‘self checkout’ aisles that had 60-80 people standing in queue on each side of the building. ‘Nick’ was the poor soul that was manning the swarming ‘self checkout’ and was doing his best to be patient, but was clearly frazzled by all of the registers he had to man and by all of the ill tempered patrons that were about to lose it because they had been standing in line for almost an hour by the time they were able to check out.
Somehow the 5 minute trip to grab something quickly became 45 minutes–40 of which were in line. Completely unacceptable.
The images posted show the empty assisted checkout aisles as well as the overflowing self checkout area. You can also see that trash and random items were everywhere at each register.
Some of these people drive a long way to come here, many longer than ours and our trip was 50 minutes from door to door.
Really disappointed with this experience and how sales associates are being utilized here.
Also, numerous aisles were completely packed with boxes, to the point that you couldn’t even find the paint section. This was at 4pm, the height of Sunday shopping. Dangerous and not conducive to selling anything in those aisles.
Two stars instead of one because Nick was busting his rear and wasn’t going postal like most would have been. It doesn’t matter what you’re paying him, give that bloke a raise. He deserves it. Also, we likely won’t return without a very good reason. Based on this experience, this administrator would be be firing whoever dropped the ball here. Happy to discuss with corporate.By Anthony Langlois (6 months ago)Horrible. I asked several people questions on where the item I was looking for was and instead of helping me they totally just followed me around the store instead of helping me my find my item. One of the people was General manager I’m pretty sure. I’m very Unsatisfied. Apparently Walmart is more concerned about protecting their inventory from outstanding citizens than actually helping costumers. Will never shop here again. Also I will let anyone I know talk to that the General manager is not good at costumer service and should definitely consider a new line of employment if he’s obviously not good at working with the public.By Michaela M (5 months ago)The store was horrible!! There was nothing on most shelves. Almost no water, peanut butter, frozen items all kinds of things. What was really sad is there was freight laying in all kinds of isles with no one stocking the shelves!! Why put it out on the floor for people to have hard time getting around the stuff if no one is going to stock the shelves keep it in the back. Isles in general were a mess, things were all over the place. To top things off there were no bags to put your items in at checkout just done that were a little bigger than the bags in the fruit and vegetable department or as one associate said there were boxes in a shopping cart if we needed them and they wouldn’t have fit anything in them but just a couple small items, didn’t help for most people. Every person I saw was just carrying their items out in their hands or shipping cart just like at Sam’s club. I’ve been to this Walmart before and it was fabulous so clean and put together but now.. No way!!By Erin Becker (4 months ago)Product they ordered and can’t sell fast enough is stacked high everywhere. Good for the prices! What’s not good is the lack of cashiers. Twenty registers with only two or three manned. Took twice as long in line as it took to pick up three items from opposite sides of the store from each other.
By Andrew Sanders (5 months ago)I am giving this a one star because zero stars is not an option. I needed to do a return this evening & I went inside to find 2 employees talking. I waited until there was a break in their conversation to ask if anyone was able to help me with a return. They informed me that they’d already closed the registers for the evening (even though it says they don’t close until 11pm, they said they’d closed their customer service center at 8pm). The employee named Mandy proceeded to roll her eyes & told me there’s plenty of homeless people in the area & that I could donate my things to because there was nothing they could do for me at 9 pm. Her manager, Kristy, was standing there while Mandy spoke to me & never intervened or said a word about how rude Mandy handled the interaction. I am truly appalled – I’ve never been treated so poorly at any establishment in my life.By Jenna Dombroski (3 weeks ago)

I never like going to Walmart as the associates don’t seem to like customers and never want to help. The Missoula Walmart is no different as I wandered the store for a considerable period of time very obviously trying to locate a section and not one worker could be bothered to help. I understand the need for good workers now but this is consistent across all the stores I have been in.By Chantelle McDuffie (11 months ago)The convenience of online shopping and curbside pick up is great; if the company can follow through with what they stand by. I made an order yesterday morning before 8am, requesting a pick-up time of between 5pm – 6pm. My order was delayed four hours, even though I had received noticed that my order wouldn’t be any more than two hours delayed. I tried calling the pick-up area three times that night, no one answers the phone. So I called a fourth time to speak to an associate; the woman answers the phone asking who she can direct me to. I tell her the nature of my call, asked if anyone was in the pick-up area, she simply says, “I don’t know, I don’t work that area and that’s not my concern” and she transfers the call. Once again the phone just rings, no one answers. I called back this morning (the next day after my order was placed) and once again, the phone just rings. I understand being understaffed and that Wal-Mart is doing the best they can with what workforce they have, but this is just poor customer service. Someone should always be available to answer the phone. Those that do answer the phone, should know proper phone etiquette.By Karen Taylor (2 months ago)Got an oil change there. Went back because of an oil leak after the change. Had to wait a half hour before they even brought it in. Then over two hours once it was in. Then they tried to charge me $12 dollars. Asked them why? The told me the drain plug was loose! Are you KIDDING me! You just changed to oil! And now you want to charge ME for YOUR incompetence? I would definitely NEVER go there again. Pay more. Go somewhere competent. That was the first and last time i will ever go thereBy Don Robillard (4 months ago)Walmart has all the employees shopping so getting help is really difficult here. I also dislike (personally) the amount of self check outs vs. manned cashiers. I would prefer to see more people employed, if there are people wanting work (up for debate). Generally a pretty generic but predictable shopping experience. If you can manage to get assistance it’s been, in my experience very helpful and friendly so they do have that going for them. Full transparency, my issues with Walmart are more about the business itself than with the experience or the employees.By Blues Guy (2 months ago)Took my BMW into the Walmart automotive center to get my new tires installed for the winter. Not only were the tires never installed, but the front bumper of my car was RIPPED AWAY from my vehicle. The employees were unsure of the extent of the damage, whether or not the underside of my vehicle was damaged, or how exactly the damages took place.
Initially I was told by the automotive department that all repair and towing costs would “absolutely” be covered, and they told me to find a local vehicle repair shop for them to tow it to. A little later, I was told by Jeremy “Yeah so I just looked at your car and it looks like there were no bolts in your skid plates”….. ??? Not only is that entirely untrue and nearly impossible, but that would have NOTHING to do with the DAMAGES TO MY VEHICLE anyway. Jeremy is not a mechanic. Nonetheless, he included his completely unfounded “diagnosis” in their insurance claim to their company, alleging that they do not find themselves liable for their damages to my vehicle.
He then DROVE MY CAR in the condition it was in, with the bumper dangling in front of the wheels, out of the shop and into the parking lot, placing the loose parts they had ripped off ON THE GROUND outside, and told me to come get my keys.
EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND IGNORANT TEAM OF STAFF AT THE WALMART ON MULLAN ROAD.

I was in town to go on a hiking trip and I stopped in for a few items. I went to the restroom and it had a horrible stench! An employee was in there and I asked her if she noticed the smell. She said a woman had used the restroom in there yesterday and that was the reason it smelled so bad. Am I missing something?? Isn’t that what a restroom is for?? Walmart use some your own products and clean your restroom!! ????????By Gayla Stone (4 months ago)Great prices and good customer service. I would have given 5 star’s if they kept the phones stocked, they seem to be out of most of inventory alot of the time.By Merri Bowers (7 months ago)It was late on Dec 22nd – the staff were amazingly helpful and cheerful when I purchased some fabric. It was -20 degrees outside and they must have been dealing with loads of customers all day, yet Jared (I think) and his folks were remarkable. I’m impressed.By Cecelia Notess (a month ago)It’s Walmart of course it’s good! Lol. I like our Walmart location. Good selection and full service store. Groceries as well as home goods and all things one could need. Pretty good prices still too all things considered.By Pink Mango (3 months ago)Shopping was fine in grocery. Limited on some dog bonz. Paper plates Limited on sizes I wanted. Package of bandanas was not there. Found all Christmas decorations. Lines at checkout were not to long , wait was reasonable. Successful trip.By Jo Ann Webster (a month ago)

Used pharmacy ser ices. The technician violated my right to privacy and refused to wait on me. I was polite. Then she told me to leave the store and wait in car after calling the number on curbside delivery sign. I did that. It was 85 degrees outside and no shade. She put me on hold when I called the number…for 25 minutes then hung up on me. I was sick, sweating, and hungry. I called the store manager and he intervened per my request. Finally I got the needed medications. The pharmacy manager wanted to talk to me so I called him. He tried to apologize for that technicians behavior. A few issues with that:
1. Don’t tell the customer to leave the store.
2. Don’t violate the customers right to privacy.
3. Don’t put the customer on hold for 25 minutes.
4. Don’t hang up on the customer.
I could maybe understand this level of incompetence if the customer was rude but that was not the case here. That technician’s behavior was just inexcusable. The store manager did make it better by helping me.By Celia Mahue (4 months ago)A Wally world like no other! Our first impression of this store was how clean it is. As we began to peruse the aisles we noticed how busy, hardworking the employees are. Yet, they were eager to offer assistance in lending a helping hand to locate items we were having a hard time to find. Thank you to all the caring workers who make our shopping there a real joy each time we shop!By Matthew (5 months ago)Had a pretty okay experience, today. All the staff were super friendly compared to the West End Store, and was much better stocked/more inventory than the West End. It looked so much better and cleaner! My only gripe is that every time I go to this location, there are never any electric scooters. They seem to not have enough. So today was a quick in-and-out.Spend Money, Live Cheap, Walmart.
By Brittany Fark (3 months ago)Love my local walmart. We are small town America so the staff is local and friendly. Lots of waving and smiles. Decent selection, little higher than billings but until Albertsons moves in, it is what it is. You pay for convenience or you can drive 20 miles and fight the billings crowd.By Erin Riveland (3 months ago)Place is consistently pretty busy, unless your a night walker, then it’s not so bad.By Pete (2 months ago)
