Man oh man! I loved this place. Ambience, I would give it a 5 for sure, it was extremely good.
Food, I ordered the beef stew the Sunday special one and oh boy it completely blew me away. I had a feel of eating in a local restaurant, literally it was not at all like the chain. The thanksgiving turkey was also excellent. Try their winter drinks as well they r excellent. I enjoyed the visit. There was confusion in the order as there were a lot of folks around and the waiter did a mistake, it’s completely alright not a complaint.

My opinion of Cracker Barrel will always be from the positive side! Their catfish gives me euphoria thru the day especially when it’s fried the way you see in the photo! The majority of the time service is outstanding! The biscuits and gravy have the perfect flavor & consistency!

This was the worst food I’ve EVER had at a Cracker Barrel establishment! If you eat at Cracker Barrel, you’ve probably eaten at several, especially when you travel. Well, we are traveling and was hungry, so we knew that when we stop here, we will get the same great servce and great hot food, because normally, they are all the same no matter where you eat. WEEEELLLL, how SHOCKED were we when our food was brought out. Scrambled eggs were more like fried and folded, steak was over cooked with ABSOLUTELY no seasoning. They both seemed to be competing to see which could taste more like cardboard! I even used A1 and didn’t help. Then I said let me try the pancakes… HA JOKES ON ME! I looked at them and knew they resembled NOTHING of the pancakes we know of when we think of Cracker Barrel. But I tried them anyway! HA! I must have been thinking of Russian Roulette! Pancake mix was more than likely bought from the ALDI across the street. Tasted every bit of the JUST ADD WATER pancake mix! It tasted like fluffy rubber! Cracker Barrel’s pancakes are normally melt in your mouth good with crispy edges of buttery goodness! THIS WASN’T IT!
So now we’re on our way and still hungry!
    Y’all see this mess?

We hadn’t eaten at Cracker Barrel in a long time. The food was amazing and service very quick. Nina has been our server twice now and she’s the best. She’s direct, quick and doesn’t waste time. Also very observant and refills drinks without needing to ask.

They never fail to deliver . I go to the CB which is close to the Premium outlets at the exit towards Sharpsburg for breakfast before shopping. Its very convenient. Attentive , great service and great food. We opted fir a heavier breakfast for Brunch. The Old Timer’s was served in a beautiful blue dish which made for such an appetizing presentation. I had the Country Boy breakfast which had a tantalizing steak served wuth a cheese casserole. It was a little dry at one end, but I still gave 5 stars for Cracker Barrel. 17 years for me as theur client and they have maintained their old world charm , their great country store, best service and food.

We decided to try this place and loved it. The desserts alone are amazing! We loved the cake so much that we ordered another piece to go. There is a large menu and the food and service were great!

the food is pretty good! I think my waitress was stressed out because they lacked a host but honestly she was really attentive to our table. The reason for the four stars is that I wasn’t expecting to get something pie-filling adjacent when I ordered strawberries whip cream on my french toast, I wish the menu was slightly more specific on that. That could always be a fault on my end though.

Highly recommend, great service and its a breath of fresh air to eat something other than fast food while on the road. Recommend their baklava cheesecake, it’s delicious!

Was there right when they opened at 7. It was a spur of the moment decision and it was a good one. Wife got the chocolate chip pancakes and I had the split decision breakfast cause I couldn’t decide if I wanted French toast or pancakes. Coffee was great, food was on point. I live an hour away but I will definitely be making this the place I go to when I catch up with friends in the area.

This turned out to be a really good experience. For the amount of people who were present at this IHOP (during morning peak) we were waiting to be seated and they got us in there faster than expected and we were not in a hurry. A 30 min wait turned into 15 mins. The service was top notch, during the meal our server came back for coffee refills etc…never missed a beat, never had to ask for anything, the server was on it. The food was great our group of four all agreed…now I don’t usually do pancakes, but for a change I tried some at the suggestion of our sever and i gotta say the cinna-bun pancakes are one serious treat…[expletive] YUM!!!

me and my friend went there for lunch. it was about a 5 minute wait to be seated which was fine. waiter was extremely nice and had our food out quick. food was great and so was the service.

This was probably the worst service I have had at a restaurant in years. I think there were 5 other couples in the whole place. So they were not busy. We had a used coffee pot on our table the entire meal. It was there when we got seated and there when we left. We waited 45 minutes for food. Our waitress never once asked if we wanted refills on our drinks or checked on us. My wife’s eggs were cold when they came out and so was everyones fries. Do not recommend eating here

It was served fairly quickly. For the price it wasn’t a terrible value, but it also wasn’t great either. The staff was friendly enough but seemed in the weeds with just a couple of tables. I imagine it would be pretty rough for them on the weekends.

What an experience! The staff is extremely friendly and the food is something to savor! We stumbled upon this place because our first choice wasn’t open yet, and I’m glad it wasn’t. Our server was incredibly informative, helpful and patient while we made our selections and the atmosphere was authentic and inviting. We chose to be seated outdoors where we were surprised with a small Wagon Train parade! Definitely worth visiting again.

Fantastic! We stopped here for lunch on the way home from Shenandoah and were glad we did!

Jaeger schnitzel Hunter style and pork schnitzel with spaetzle and carrots. See for yourself in the photos. Nice sized portions and a beautiful restaurant. Very neat and clean with lots of space for larger groups! We washed it all down with house made German chocolate cake. Yum!

While on a minivacay in the Washington County area, we made a plan to eat here at the Stube. We had high hopes and it did not disappoint.

The staff were professional, friendly and accommodating.

The beers will please any fan of German beers. Each served in the appropriate glass with sizes just as I remember when we visited Germany – 8oz, 16oz and 32oz.

The menu is extensive and makes decisions pleasantly difficult.

I decided on the Wurst Teller with a selection of 3 sausages, sauerkraut, Brussels sprouts, and what seemed to be a savory bread pudding. As you see in the photo, I couldn’t wait to attack the weiss wurst before snapping a picture. My wife had a roast pork dish and everything was absolutely delicious!

My only regret is that I didn’t bring enough of an appetite, but they boxed up the leftovers.

Just a great experience and we will definitely return!

We were heading to Pittsburgh for the weekend and needed a stop for dinner on the way. I came across this place based on our timing and gave it a shot. Neat little place with an old-style feeling to it. Super-friendly staff. We split the combination: beef medallions, schnitzel, bratwurst, spätzle, potato salad, sauerkraut, red cabbage, and green beans wrapped in bacon. I think the schnitzel, sauerkraut, and red cabbage were my favorites. I’m not a fan of mayo, but even the potato salad wasn’t bad.

One thing, and not really under their control, but the outdoor seating is a little weird. Not sure if it’s all the time, but people fly up and down that road on Friday night. Saw a ton of cars running red lights, so it felt a bit unsafe.

We came to Schmankerl Stube to try out some authentic Bavarian food, as we will be traveling to Germany soon, and it did not disappoint. Some of the best food I’ve had, from the appetizers to the main course as well as dessert. Our waitress, Liz, was excellent and once we told her we would be visiting Germany soon, she gave us so many tips and little tricks to get the most out of our visit as she travelled there multiple times. The expansive restaurant itself was very inviting and cozy and had a nice outdoor/streetside area (it got a little loud at times). No doubt we’ll be back. Simply amazing.

Very friendly and efficient crew that worked well together on a busy Sunday afternoon. We’ve been to this location a few times and always got great service.

Horrible!! Everything is completely burnt! My double order of hashbrowns is almost the same amount as my bfs dinner special side. Sad part is we went in at 11pm and there was only one other table sitting there. I’ve had way better food with less wait times at way crazy busier places. I guess the lack of parking traffic on a Friday night should have told me something. I would not recommend this one.

This is my favorite place for waffles. Always served very hot right off the grill. How hot the food is when its served is a very big advantage for this restaurant chain as I am very turned off by luke warm or cold food. This location is my favorite. I have been consistently coming here for years. The service is great and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Give this spot a try I think its a good value for your money.

The food was good. Everything was what you expect from a breakfast spot only flaw was the wait was terrible today at lunch. My co worker and I probably spent 30 mins until we received a menu. Service was decent I love that you can watch them cook right before you though that’s priceless. Whoever scrambled them damn eggs tho with cheese smh them eggs was BUMPIN

Sam is the best cook ever! Waffle House is fortunate to have a well-rounded employee. She cooks, wait tables and cashiers. The food is tasty 😋 and served with a smile.
