  My 5 star is simple. I’m a passing truck driver. Needed a place too park for tonight. Was very convenient wasn’t hassled about parking. I was able too catch up on groceries and supplies for the road. Store was well stocked staff was helpful in helping me. Definitely my place to shop ended up spending over a 100.00 buck well worth the stop 👍

  This Walmart is better stocked than Charles Town. However, there is no service. You have to self check while a swarm of employees stand around and talk. There isn’t an option to have them scan your items. I don’t work for Walmart and the items here aren’t cheaper, so why am I doing the work your employees should be doing???

  I don’t usually shop at this Walmart and I never Come here again. I’ve stopped here twice this month after work and both times no regular check outs were open. You have to use self check out. If I have just a few items that isn’t a big deal. But when I have a very full cart, it is difficult to do. I always pay by check and with self check out that cause more steps. So annoying and time consuming! Not happy about this at all!

  This walmart is awful. Absolutely no registers that arent self checkout. They dont take contactless pay. Which you would think that walmart would have it before a small gas station. My bank account got hacked and i was left with google pay. I couldnt even go grocery shopping there.

  Not from the area nor state but we frequent the area for visiting family.

  Overall in the past few years this has been a great Walmart to shop. Busy in the parking lots of cars and people. That stood out to me.

  I’ve shopped in thru the clothing sections a number of times and found it lacking fullness of selections of clothing and sometimes disorganized.

  I have come across plenty of associates through out shopping and have been nice and helpful at times. Haven’t come across any ignorant employees yet.

  I’d recommend shopping here for all your common needs.

  Good prices, but why is every smaller non-food item being locked up in a case? If some people are stealing things, do you have to inconvenience the rest of us? To make it worse, the buttons to call an associate don’t always work (see: automotive light bulbs). If they do, someone may never show up. I’ll take my business for these items elsewhere.

  This store has a good variety of merchandise and has generic brands to choose from as well. I had to ask three different workers to point me in the right direction before I received a response. My biggest problem is the whole automation of the check out. You have such long waits in line you almost don’t want to shop. Not to mention all the jobs lost to computers. I understand the point of business is to make a profit but to what end? When you make the amount of money this store does give some back to the people’s families that are buying from you! We don’t have many other local options to choose from since they were closed soon after this store opening.

  I went in for transmission fluid for my Toyota matrix and there were only two transmission fluids stocked and of course none for my little matrix. This place is very poorly stocked. You’re good if you drive a GM or Ford

  Never stocked with items on a regular basis so don’t plan on finding what you need last minute. Employees are not helpful and after they watch you self checkout they stop you at the door and want you to find items on your receipt that are in the buggy not the other way around. I always feel like I should get paid for doing someone’s job while I’m in this particular store.

  I absolutely will not be back at this Walmart. Nothing but problems every time! I go to get a fountain drink and the Dr Pepper and the Coke both come out clear… ok cool… I go to tell the cashier and she looks at me and says nothing with a rude look. Then after ringing me up for my cup of ice and Dr Pepper can she says have a good day. And I proceed with asking “ are you not going to acknowledge anything just said to you” !?!? Rude employees!

  For some reason my states walmart just never have the tickets up or in the right place when seasonal mark downs happen they take 2 months longer than any of our neighboring states. And they do not work well with coupons or if an item rings up one price on the app and another at the register they do not take the proper steps to be an actively engaged customer service team and fix the price WHICH THEY JUST GOT SUED FOR… you just have to void it off and keep going which has happened numerous times to me as i refuse to pay a different price then i had anticipated and when its the stores lack of competence that just conpletely turns me off about this palce. The worker herself told me the reasoning behind it is just because they are trying to keep their shelves filled so they put items in any slot tocfill the space. Im absolutely appalled that they after all the bqcklash is still continuing to do this. Also they are the worse about items that come with coupons attached to them. They never check to see if they are expired and leave the items on their shelf up to 7 months past the expiration date and of course won’t honor them when they are attached to the product THEY are selling. Had a lady today worker tell me the coupons are only valid on what is in the picture and doesn’t matter what the description states. Which is literally the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard and no other store is like that and i know for a fact the cross lanes location is not . Which completed contradicted this Story on Sunday with the bogo dove coupons and suave hand sanitizer coupons I tried to do all 3 in one transaction and 2 of them didn’t work even though they were the right items and the items in the picture. So the clerk told me to do in a separate transaction, that they were too alike to do together, and it still didn’t work and she ADMITTED the products were the right ones but still wouldn’t honor the coupons. I’m done shopping here this store and the management is so unorganized, non-communicating, non-caring and it’s ridiculous that someone who spends 10k or more a yr in that store and noone knows what to do and its somethig new everytime. Even when I think about giving them second and third and fourth chances they still continue to suck the life out of America with their dishonesty and fat pocketed CEOS.

  Walmart is and will forever be one of my favorite stores for a one stop shop spot. They always seem to have everything I need and for a great price. The employees are always kind and helpful, and the store’s are always in order and items I need are easily found. The restrooms are always nice and tidy.

  They never answer the phone no matter what hour of the day it is I can’t even figure out if they have my wallet at the store lost and found because they never have anyone there. I was on hold for a hour easily and was just hung up on. Compared to my store I used to work at in Randolph county this store sucks more in every imaginable way.   I absolutely hate this Walmart. It is always so packed and all the employees seem so rude. I understand not liking your job, but that doesn’t give you an excuse to be rude to your customers.

  The curbside filling employees seem like they are trained to be extremely rude and pushy. At first I was okay, because it is meant to be a fast paced job, but come on…they are getting out of hand when they crash into the side of your cart to get past you (which has happened several times) I go to the store with my mom and my uncle who has special needs, and everyone is always so inconsiderate of our situation. Meaning, my uncle doesn’t know any better to move out of the way for those pushy employees, so I have to help him move over, which might take a few moments. The employees always seem less than impressed with his being in the way. It seems like Walmart has sacrificed compassion and general kindness for effeciency.

  I would give it 5 stars but at night they could have at least 1 or 2 back up cashiers as well as both self checkouts open. The lines start backing up quick and you end up waiting awhile. The two people they have working registers work incredibly hard but look overwhelmed. Shelves are stocked as good as they can get them, they can’t help the supply chain issue.

  I hate this store. It is the worst one I have ever been to. I am not alone in my opinion of it either. Have talked to many other patrons and they say the same. They treat everyone like they are criminals. Foolishly follow people around in the store and are quite obvious about it. A bald headed man looked at women’s hair dye right beside me for 20 minutes until I said something to him. Then he was peeking around the corner at me. Absurd. But then they expect you to use the self checkout and trust you to check yourself out. It’s ridiculous to say the least. I’m not returning.

  Store was busy but was still pretty neat and stocked. Our cashier Mari was on his phone kept saying my bad. He was just throwing stuff in the bags , we had three different orders and he did this with all of us. I finally said something to him when he tossed my moms glass jar of spaghetti sauce in the bag 🤦‍♀️.

  Sat and waited 20 mins for someone to come let me get a dog collar from their case. Hit the button to alert someone multiple times and a representative even came over the intercom stating I needed help. This is ridiculous Walmart feels the need to put dog collars in a case. Losing money by losing a sale is as bad as losing one to someone stealing the product. I just eventually left since there was obvious better things they were focused on.

  Either pay enough workers to run the store or take simple items like a dog collar out of the case and let customers actually shop. Not everyone is a criminal.

  This place is BY FAR one of worse businesses in Mercer county. Every-time I go in there I get followed like I’m trying to steal or something. They messed my car up in the auto dept. it had to be towed. Then I went back about 2 weeks later to return a couple items and the manager that was working denied my return! I think for retaliation of me making them pay for the car getting towed and fixed. I HATE this store and wouldn’t recommend it to no one. 0/10. DO NOT RECOMMEND

  As busy as other Walmarts I’ve been to. Daughter and son-in-law went in to get a couple of things that were forgotten. Didn’t take much time, which was nice, since the rest of us were sitting in the van in the heat, waiting for them. Getting in and out of the lot were easy because of the traffic lights… very helpful!
