in the last weekI like the new krogers and all but they need to check the products and shelf date !! I bought a Starbucks drink a few days ago it was “expired” by July of course I called and told them they said I could bring it back and get a new one but I didn’t care about that I cared that there were still some on the shelf with the same experation date . Anyways I drank it almost got down to the end felt chunks threw it out. Today I go in to grab some water and thought I should check to see if they did take the others off the shelf and they were still there!!!!! That can really get someone very sick and upsets me knowing that I told them and they did NOTHING about it. (Photo was when I went today to check)Thinking about maybe calling corporate I feel like this should’ve been taken care of by now since I called about this a few days ago who knows who got this and didn’t check the expiration date and drank that!a week agoDew e Dr CC But the real reason I’m writing this review is because of my kind young friend Xavier, who was working at the self check out on Labor Day. I personally was very rushed, and in all honesty, completely ready to be a Karen over a pop that exploded and having to wait a few seconds for customer service. I know necessary, right? It seems so rushed and the parking is an absolute disaster. It’s almost non-existent. The layout on the inside is not much better. The aisles are super confusing and oddly placed. It’s a nice building and the workers are sweet but I hate going here now. I also had a problem with their bakery when they completely ruined my nephew’s birthday cake. They misspelled his name and the cake was uneven. They didn’t even have the decency to say anything about their mistakes, they were actually okay with presenting me with that mess. I was basically forced to take it because it was the day of his party. I will definitely never use the bakery again.3 months agoFortunately, the stars will probably maybe come back. This is my second time at the store. I was very hungry, so I drove here instead of going to fast food place. I wanted something hot. I made it in it was 736 one I’ll look at my clock. P.m., lol as I made it to the deli, the gentleman was loading up about 25 pieces of chicken baked to take them out of the case I said, hey, can I have may I have some of that? He said no, sir we are closed at seven I said, are you serious are you sure I can’t have any of that and he said no.Nor do I hold him responsible for this but I want a trucking company and any company that would keep me in 2020 for my first load ever till the next day to unload me probably has something to do with the baked chicken was hot out of the case that he was taking to the back to do whatever probably stick it in a bag and make it cold Later and another case he offered the cold chicken to me . No, I will not give this organization. An excuse work on getting your stars back quit making so many rules the chicken was perfectly acceptable an edible.

My sir, in the deli, please learn to read between the lines just put it in a bag and put a price on it. Now I’m off to some stupid fast food, unhealthy joint to eat something else because I couldn’t get a hot meal. I live here but I’m not around here . I’m on a covert mission. Lol.

Great store with a lot to offer. This Kroger is a very clean location that appears to be pretty new. The store is very well organized and the shelves are all well stocked. They have a pizza restaurant (Rapid Fired), Starbucks, a bakery, and a pharmacy. They also had a very impressive array of produce and flowers close by. They have many aisles of foods of all kinds including dairy items, canned items, snacks, etc. They also have a section of the store designated to alcoholic beverages as well as aisles with other types of drinks. The employees that I interacted with were all helpful and friendly. This store basically has everything you need from a day-to-day basis. The only thing is the store was packed with customers. I came on a Thursday morning, not a time that I would expect to be busy. They also have a good selection of organic foods. They offer many high quality food items.
Overall, I had a great experience and I will be returning.
Tip: if you don’t feel like going into the store because of Covid or other reasons, shop online and order groceries, or pick them up at the store.
Perfect location for last minute over night staying. Perfect for the snacking needs! Massive selection for charcuterie needs and the wine selection to match. We tried to hurry because the store was closing, but all the workers were super nice and helpful! I would most definitely recommend this location and my favorite part is the large variety selection in the produce department.
Would’ve given 5 stars but two incidents occured that prevented that. The majority of the store was clean, neat, and odor free for the most part. Everything seemed to be fairly stocked for the time of day it was. Employees were friendly and very helpful. The produce department could use some touching up. I grabbed molded fruit cups from the refrigerated section of the product department. Not fun for a pregnant lady who is sensitive to mold! I did make the produce department aware and handed them the the containers I had. The second issue was based on my grocery pick up order on the previous visit. I received an open busted bottle of refill soap that spilled all in the bag and in my car but the kroger customer service team reimbursed me and made it right. The bakery was well stocked with a nice variety of items! They have the Carvel cakes at this location! That’s a plus. Meat and seafood department blue me away! This has to be the best seafood meat department across all of Dayton area krogers! No smell.. and I smell everything.. ( pregnancy nose lol) meat and seafood looked fresh and well presented. Fully stocked and no long wait. Again, if it wasn’t for the Two small issues I would give them 5 stars! Produce department needs to step to it up just a little bit. All and all,I enjoyed shopping here. Also, they have seeded watermelon fully in stock!! I will be back.
A pretty good Krogers, like most suburban Krogers, with added amenities such as sushi, wine bar, Rapid Fired Pizza (not as good as a standalone location for some reason). Not one of the giant locations but a plentiful size. As do a lot of stores these days, they do have entire selections of products out of stock at random times. They do have trouble with placing moldy fruit out for purchase sometimes. There’s a pharmacy but they need to update their hours on here. Employees are usually friendly and helpful.
The biggest complaint that I have is that for a store this size, they only have ONE pair of unisex private bathrooms. More than once, I’ve had to wait in line to use the restroom. Even a smaller location has more bathrooms than this one. They need to do some remodeling to increase their bathroom offerings, seriously.
Just my experience, but I’d rather drive 30 minutes to a kroger than to shop this location. Rude staff, empty shelves, they take your cart while you’re in the aisle, then act like it’s your fault because you weren’t at your cart. No thanks. I’ll shop at Aldi rather than shop here again. I’ve never encountered such complacency and rudeness. It’s like it’s just expected that you’ll except it. Except one less customer is all I can say. I’ve had enough. Please offer the retail space to a grocery chain that will put their customer first, and sell. If you don’t want to be here… leave!! Stop taking our space.
