2 weeks agoThis is my go to Kroger in Canton/Plymouth area. Largest by far with the best selection of items. Parking lot may seem full but the store is so large that it never feels super busy. Pickup area for orders is super easy to find and complete. The only complaint/downside is that they often don’t have enough self checkout lanes open but I completely understand the limited staff.in the last weekKroger is great. Very clean store and lots of selection. A tiny bit more expensive than Meijer (hence the 4 stars). Glad they have a Star bucks in there. tooa week agoThis specific store in Canton has a tremendous selection of items (in contrast to the Canton store on Michigan Ave). Unfortunately, this store suffers from excessive wait at the cash register checkout as they appear to be affected by ongoing post-COVID staffing issues.2 months agoI returned a TON of bottles last night. The young man who rang up my bottle return slips (his name is Nebil, I believe) was SO nice and just an awesome person! Apparently, there’s a limit. The manager had to come over and approve the amount, and she literally approved it without even looking at the screen, then she spun around on her heels and stormed off in a huffy. Unfortunately, this same manager had just recently removed the large bills from his register so he had to call her back over and when she saw the amount, she looked at the young man, got in his face, stuck her finger in it and said “the limit is $25, don’t EVER do that again!” And after she walked away, he literally was SUCH an upstanding guy, that he proceeded to excuse her behavior, explaining she’d had a long stressful shift and he was sorry for the inconvenience. Wow. Just wow! Please take that woman’s job and give it to this young man! She has no business being in charge of anyone. She has abused her position to belittle him because of her mistake. If I had been quick on my toes, I would have asked her why she approved the amount if it was not allowed. There was also a long line of people behind us, and the man next in line was a cranky old dude, and this cashier remained calm and collected and very professional throughout the entire exchange, regardless of the pressures at hand. My heart went out to this young man, and I felt terrible that I had gotten him in trouble, so as I was exiting the store and passing by the manager, I said, “your cashier was very courteous to us.” She completely ignored me, even though I stopped in front of and looked directly at her when I spoke. That was when I decided it was necessary for me to leave an honest review of my experience. I wanted to make sure that young man knew that someone noticed the kindness he extended to someone who didn’t deserve it. I wanted to encourage him to continue to be kind and courteous, regardless of the insults he was thrown. (Nebil, if you happen to see this review, thank-you! And tell your mom or your dad, whoever is responsible, that they raised a pretty great young man!)8 months agoNever shop online with this store. First of all the items were substituted without any notification. I physically went I store to check and all items were in stock . Afterwords when I checked my bill it’s charged triple . I called customer service they offered refund of $5 (when the total was supposed to be $16.98 and charged me $44) they give you run around and when I told them I just want to return everything and want a refund. They said they have to process online and I can’t do that . Seriously. Never ever shop at Kroger . This would be last time that I would shop here

3 months agoThis location is always out of something I came for especially sale items. Like today not sure if they were on sale but the price in the ad was 2.19 so I wanted to buy some onions….no onions then I wanted some private selection brown sugar ham from the deli and they had the deli completely clear and packaged meat in a glass case I looked through them all but the one I usually get was not there, so it’s things like that. Otherwise, I had a good shopping trip and received good customer service by employees. I also have issues with digital coupons not coming off the total. I have been diligent now at checkout because this has happened a lot and I mean a lot. I noticed a coupon did not register again, but the employees took care of it for me promptly.2 months agoThe bakery team did an awesome job on a cake i had to pick up today. I just wanted to say how much i appreciate that and Courtney was such a blessing . Shes a hard worker and cares about the customers. Thank you again so much.6 years agoThe store is clean. They have a good variety of items but the price of staples continue to climb as exotics like pineapples and giant bunches of sunflowers grace the entry. Parking is great. The cashiers are courteous, hardworking and kind.2 months agoThe prices are the highest of the three major grocery chain stores. Fish counter wasn’t ready after 11:30 am and then the person working behind the counter was upset because we stood there waiting until she finished. We walked away without buying anything. Another time we had a cake made and they did a terri le job decorating it. No, thank you. We will shop somewhere else.4 months agoThough I love Kroger, when visiting on the evening of Sunday May 7th the store was extremely crowded and there was only one cashier with a line all the way down one aisle. The self checkout lines were open, but the line for those was even longer. Having filled my basket with groceries, I became extremely frustrated as did many other customers. Decided it wasn’t worth the wait and left to go to Walmart instead. Several of us did. Staffing is clearly an issue!!

This is a great Kroger. You can buy nuts and some snacks by the pound. Open. Friendly staff. Sushi bar. Many prepackaged ready to go foods made daily. I love that the deli precuts slices in half a pound qualities so you can get deli meat without waiting. I’d prefer some 1/4 packages too if you’re listening Kroger to add to my variety.
Honestly, this is the better of the Krogers in this area. This always has a large variety of fresh produce, the staff is usually friendly, and this store is cleaner than others. If you need a good Kroger, give the Ann Arbor Road location a try.
Terrible Kroger. My problem not yours type of deal. Need a money order and Kroger usually only place around to get one and well beknown to me, well Kroger doesn’t pay their workers enough, so not even the manager could help me with a money order as they didn’t have enough staff. Manager should be fired. Trash
Selection is limited compared to other Kroger locations. Checkout is understaffed and there is always a long line to check out. Since it is close to my home I shop there – but only rarely and when I do it is only because I need something basic (like milk) which they WILL have in stock. Also, (in 2023) they implemented some kind of flaky anti-theft/brake devices to prevent theft of their carts which tends to partially fail so that it is hard to push their carts through the store. This location really needs to upsize so that it can carry a complete inventory.
Great shopping. Easy to get thru aisles. Lots of products that are tasty. Quick to check out.
