a month agoEvery trip to this place is some fresh hell of an experience. The food they sell is fine. The shelves are always stocked. I never have any trouble with expiration dates. But it is so wildly unpleasant to be in this building over the last few months that I can’t stand it anymore. If it’s not the constant dinging and screaming over the intercom, it’s the carts locking up while still inside the store. The self check outs got renovated so the line is impossible to follow, but don’t worry, if you go through the manned checkouts you can enjoy being stared blankly at for an uncomfortable 120 seconds before being asked for your Kroger card. Watch out for the carts if your body is any kind of fragile. They do not care if you get injured.a year agoSo first off, every deal almost requires you to buy 10 of an item. Fine but when it’s on ice cream, milk, pies, etc. Who would ever buy 10 at once??? Plus they can’t keep it stocked and the self checkout barely works correctly. They no longer have employees check you out at least when I was there they didn’t. They are super rude at customer service, I’ve had to get checks cashed or other things besides returning stuff and they basically treat you like your nothing and pretend to not see me in line. They were talking and finally said why are you standing there you need to come to use! When the sign says do not cross until called upon!!! Ugh this is frustrating3 months agoI was so excited to be able to get my groceries through the app. Absolutely loved it. I used to just say the payment was with EBT so that I would not have to have money held on for long periods of time. Now Kroger took it off of the app and I had to have money held on my debit card. This was not a problem at all until after I picked up my groceries they help 40.00 more than my groceries total. Now it would have been okay if they hold was released within 24 hours or a day. Instead they held 383.00 on my card for almost 10 freaking days. They had already received 343.00 of which was the total of the groceries.3 months agoJust don’t go in Jacqueline line (older A.A. Lady). She had a attitude the entire time she was checking me out, didn’t greet me, nor did she ever smile. I don’t usually even leave reviews but It just didn’t feel right because I’m the nicest/sweetest person ever lol4 months agoDon’t order a birthday cookie cake from the bakery. I order one that was pulled off the shelf that had been sitting on the shelf for a long time. It was dry ,old and hard.The lady never smiled when I said she did a good job decorating it.

in the last weekSo I was there 9-7-23 approximately 8pm and when I went to the self checkout area, 4 different staff members just stood there staring at me as if I didn’t belong there. They stood there and watched me struggle with ringing up one of items, because the scanner was acting funny. Finally, someone came over and helped me. Even after I paid, they all still stood there pretending like they weren’t watching. They’re a bunch of bad actors. Then I approached one of them to ask a question and she hesitated to acknowledge me and then in a very low unpleasant tone uttered yes and refused to make eye contact with me, dismissive of me. If you roll back the cameras you’ll see. If you treat people like there is something wrong with them, it inspires them not to return. If you treat people like they’re young and black, it hurts their feelings. I didn’t do anything wrong, they just were very unwelcomingly of me.2 months agoCheck the expiration dates they have items 30+ days expired. I happened to see this kroger while at the hardware store close by. I’ve went to krogers closer to my home. I decided to come to this kroger one day. I now pass 2 krogers to shop with yall. I love this store, always feel welcomed, and love how the employees introduce themselves. Yall are the best.4 months agoThe effect of walking in and enjoying Kroger has lessened since the introduction of all these clunky images and cameras watching you and self scanners. They took away all fresh feel, everything that made it a neighborly place. Nothing special, clinicala year agoBeen using this Kroger for 20 years and it’s really bad now. Inventory literally everywhere blocking shelves and walkways. Dirty sticky floors by the soda aisle. 3 weeks ago, there were rotting tomatoes in the produce. Last week, we found not expired moldy packaged cheese (pic included). Bought pork chops on 5/2 that had expiration date of 5/4. Opened them on 5/4 and smelled rotten. Threw them away.

Every time I visit this place in the evening or at night. There is a short, Caucasian woman with long hair (I am thinking blonde or light colored; don’t confuse her with the woman with brown hair who wears glasses). The lady I am describing is older and a little heavy set.
I don’t know why, but she appears to assume that all black people steal in the self-service line and attempt to be sneaky by inspecting your bags. It’s quite uncomfortable. I’ll find out who she is by calling corporate. She needs to stop this behavior!!
Self Check-Out worker, Delana, was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had scanned my four items at a self scan lane and upon completion selected pay with card. After 5 attempts of the card machine not reading my card swipe or chip, I advised her that something may be wrong with the machine. I asked her if this was the case she responded, “I can’t help that your card doesn’t work.” I replied, “I don’t believe it is the card, but the card machine. Is there a way for me to try a different machine.” She rolled her eyes, blew her breath and reluctantly transferred my items to her screen for me to use the card holder at her register. My card went through on the first try. With that, I emphasized further, “Yes, I believe something may be wrong with that card machine.”
I understand the frustrations. It’s the end of the day on a holiday. I hate to use race or maybe even socioeconomic status assumptions as reasons for her demeanor and comment; however, I think it should be mentioned as it felt it may have applied. I would also note that my card does appear that it may have trouble with swipes or scans; however, whatever the background reasons for the backhanded disrespect was uncalled for. I will never return to this Kroger location.
Kroger! You raise the price of food to an unsustainable level and wonder why crime is skyrocketing! You make the customer do self checkout on outdated equipment that takes longer because you can’t or won’t staff your store properly. Help your communities that rely on your store and the customers that keep you profitable. Do better!
Older lady named charlotte in the self checkout told me I couldn’t purchase alcohol with my birth country license . IT SCANS! You have my legit info. & that’s what I been using for the past 10 years traveling! no one ever has told me this . she just said NOP, you can’t with that ID & walked away ? I’m on vacations!
The store is ok most of the time but the baggers need training. The blind man bags perfectly the younger white guy put ground beef, beard and a jar of pickles in the same bag then looked at me like I slapped his mom when I asked him not to do that.
