What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Haven’t been here in a long time. I remember this cafe was quite crowded 5-6 years ago. And now it’s still crowded after all this time 😂 but luckily their food is still awesome. And the place looks brand new and renovated. I ordered the beef carbonara and the cheeseburger. Both are delicious in their own right. The chocolate cake was moist and freshly baked. The ambience is still nice. Even better I think. Parking can be a challenge but you just have try your best to find a space nearby. I hope to come again soon and try their other food menu. Great place to eat, no doubt. 👍

  2. Love this place, super chill. Not too crowded. So suitable for date or quiet meeting. I had coffee and cakes because was full from lunch downstaits. Coffee is good and the cakes too. Love the lemon cake and their cheesecake is good too. Not too sweet

  3. Main courses taste good, I ordered beef lasagna and friends ordered alio olio, smells good too. Pasta portion considered big for me. Sweetness of cakes slightly over (for me), but surprisingly pancake is amazing. Staff are friendly and very responsive here, good service, kudos. Also the interior design is very well themed and overall ambience is lovely. Recommended this hidden gem

  4. Came here for dinner on Saturday night. Overall experience is just average.

    Plus point:
    – good vibe
    – nice deco and ambience
    – fast service
    – reasonable price (cheapest pasta in subang jaya i guess)

    Negative point:
    – not a kids friendly cafe. They dont have kids menu. Even the kids cutlery also they dont have. When we asked for extra plate, they provided us with small plate, the one used to serve cake (we were like, whattt?)
    – they dont serve plain water. We have to buy mineral water cost RM2.50
    – my husband ordered iced americano and the taste is weird
    – pasta is just average and a bit underwhelming
    – parking is horrible! Took us 20mins to get parking slot here

    Anyway, our Overall rating 3.5/5
Will I come again? Probably yes, with my friend. But not with my family.

  5. This is a quaint little cafe located upstairs on the first floor of an old shop lot. Despite the ordinary and slightly outdated decor, the cafe had a calming ambiance that made it the perfect spot to unwind and relax.

The highlight of my visit was the delicious bakery that the cafe served. The bakery items were absolutely delightful. The bakery section had an impressive range of options, and I found myself spoilt for choice. Each pastry was a delicious treat that I savored with every bite.

Overall, while the decor of the cafe may be ordinary and old-fashioned, the delicious bakery and coffee more than made up for it. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a calming spot to enjoy some quality coffee and pastries.

I kind of have mixed feelings about this place. The ambience is really nice, simple and quaint. So this place have a 1 hour dining policy. I ordered a cup of latte and eggs benedict. Latte was okay, but I waited for quite some time for my meal only to got my order wrong. They sent me waffle instead of toast, and I think they can be more generous with the salad since their price was a bit high. Overall is okay. Ambience: 5/5 Food: 3/5

Nice place with strict SOP. We go for breakfast, arrived at 9.11am.but already full (open at 9am). We were told to wait for 30minutes but we got a table about 15 minutes later, it is good. The servers are good as they are helpful to attend the needs of patrons. We ordered the Big Breakfast Platter for sharing, a flat white, orange juice and hot chocolate. The bit breakfast is tasty and I will say value for money coz it is really a lot of food for 3 people. And it is nice to try bits and pieces of everything. Will visit again.

Well above average cafe with nice environment and friendly crews. Like their sharing platter, can easily feed 2-3 pax, and perfect for a family with 2 young kids. Avocado 🥑 Toast & Mushroom 🍄 Danish are nice as well. They having 50% off on coffee for voter today, don’t miss the offer!!!

Finally manage to try the breakfast at Foxhole cafe. There were few times wanted to hop in but always long queue. This morning we departed early and arrived at 8.45am. We are not the earliest, there was someone already parked in front of Foxhole and waiting in the car. Then follow by 3 more groups. Just in 15 mins, it’s full house. They open on time at 9am. We ordered egg Benedict, lumberjack and loaded omelette, plus a hot chocolate, total cost us RM 111. Portion just nice for us, 2 adults +2 toddlers. The kids like the waffle, but nothing special on the omelette. Quite a nice ambience but don’t expect spacious seat. Not a place for long hour catch up with friends as they will start to keep away the plates as soon as you finish your food. There’s long queue outside the restaurant 😆 Price is a bit at higher side, but I will still come back to try other food.

Food was average, nothing out of this world. THIS DINER IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CATCH-UPS. Only suitable for quick meals. As pictured, we were halfway through dining and one of the wait staff came around and told us that they will only allow us 10 more minutes before we have to leave as they have a strict 1-hour dining limit for every dining session. Our food arrived five minutes before and five minutes later, we were informed that we were expected to leave in ten minutes. Totally understand when there was a time limit before this, over the strict MCO due to health safety but, good to note that it’s June 2022 today and coupled with the amount of food and drinks on our table, it is absolutely absurd to invite your patrons out the door in the middle of their meal. Ruined our whole dining experience.

A fine way to spend a morning just after an overnight rain and the storm of an election day a day before. Open air dining in Subang Jaya without the crowd. Came in quite early for breakfast, nicely tucked away on the ground floor of a mall minus the crowd. Cool Deco, generous choice of dishes, almost anything under the sun. And good service, quickly attended by the waiters. The order came in quickly and in timely manner without the need to ask. All of these come at slightly higher price but IMHO, they’re worth. Excellent restaurant to have your meals and enjoy them with your family. Recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Comfortable and not too noisy. Great for family and friends catchup. Ordered mushroom soup, a few cakes and tea coffee sets. The mushroom soup is thick, nicely match with bread. I believe they serve great coffee cause the long black we had was not too roasted and just about right aroma. Not really a cake lover but its a good one according to my friends. You may want to try one of those 🙂 Great services and definitely will come back to try other menu.

Had lunch/brunch with family here, pretty good ambience, nice settings and decoration. Ordered (1) Lisette’s Omelette, (2) Hummus, (3) Baked Eggs and (4) Latte for the drink. Food are delicious with affordable pricing. Will revisit again next time to try other main dishes as well. Good place to hangout with friends too.

Good food. Tried the fried chicken waffle for the first time. The chicken was very well marinated and delicious to be paired with the herb infused waffle. Texture could be crunchier tho. The shakshouka was a little bit bland but not bad still. I still love vegan breakfast the most. The service was as always, amazing ! P/S: pair hot chocolate with croissants !

Popular brunch place, expect a wait around lunch time on weekends. Staff are friendly and efficient but very busy, could be hard to catch hold of one, especially if ordering from the pastry counter. Ordering from the table is by a browser link from a QR code, convenient but had some issues with the menu pictures not loading on an Android phone. Breakfast leans towards aussie with an East Asian twist. There is a much larger lunch menu only available late morning onwards. Dishes are well executed with twists over the standard versions that made it their own. All the cakes and pastries we’ve tried are very good but can only somewhat pricy. A plain croissant or scone is rm7 and a small chicken pie Rm20, which seems overpriced. Cakes are around rm18 a slice.
