4 months agoLori was checking me and my friend out. I was not aware of their policies but instead of Lori telling me nicely that I needed my own membership she just yelled at me in front of everyone. My friend is the card holder and We buy food for the same household so we weren’t aware of the policy. I have never been more mortified by an employees actions. she continued to yell at me over pulling out my card saying you can’t pay. I won’t let you. When my friend was trying to ask questions about the membership (trying to solve the issue which obviously she wasn’t trying to do) she was rude and yelled at them as well, my friend is very clearly queer presenting and It felt more like an attack than policy. She was mean from the start like she had a personal issue with us. It was just a horrible experience and made us feel horrible and embarrassed. I’m an adult and I got yelled at like I was her kid. I’m disappointed in the employees at this Costcoa month agoI have shopped at Costco for years. I am very thankful they provided an excellent power shopping cart that made navigating the store possible while I wait for my upcoming hip surgery.a month agoThe quantity AND quality one receives for what one pays provides a wonderful price/value relationship.That said, one needs a decent sized freezer and a Food Saver vacuum sealer to fully benefit from the process.
The joke is that Costco is colloquially referred to as the $300 Store,….and it’s not a joke, it’s real.
a year agoThis Costco Wholesale location in Salem just recently opened. The store is substantially larger than the prior Salem location. Access to and from the parking lot was very easy. The parking lot is substantially larger than the old Salem store. Gas station is onsite, and the gas lines moved quickly.Inside the store you’ll find a great selection of merchandise and foods. The checkout lines were very fast, lightening speeds. Overall, the new location is a wonderful store and experience!

7 months agoClose to exit 252. They are only a couple of years old now. Accessible to the south Salem neighborhood. Since this is a new store, it is well planned with multiple entry and exit points. They also have a plenty of parkingEverything else is consistent with most Costco’s in the region.

4 weeks agoI love Costco! I had one of the Gourma air fryers and we use it a LOT. It went on the fritz after 2 years of frequent use and I brought it back for a no questions asked easy refund and bought another one.I buy everything I possibly can from them for my three businesses and my home because they are so easy to do business with and their quality and service and value are unbeatable.

a month agoI’m docking a star because they don’t sell ice at this Costco. I did notice there is a big empty wall up front by the checkout with outlets allready installed seems to me that would be a great place to put a couple ice freezers and regain that lost star… Or they could even get a couple of the ice/ water vending machines to put up there then there isn’t even any labor involved just stand back and collect easy cash!a month agoEven if they don’t always have what I want. Sometimes I find things that I didn’t know. I wanted. The staff are wonderful for the most part. I love the one guy that likes to sing at the door sometimes he is so funny. And I would say about 90% of my experiences with the employees have been very positive. And wonderful and only the rarest time do I find anyone that’s remotely grumpy and everyone has an off day. Once in a Blue Moon, don’t they?6 months agoExtremely busy on weekends. Better have someone with you to find parking. Not sure if it’s the location or the day but lot of people flocking this area.Also, their food court is outside the main shopping area. So, don’t miss the pizza!
a week agoI love this place cuz every time I go here it reminds me of a mall version…. And they always got great deals, Nice TVs and other electronics. Plus they got a wide variety of food here..

I’m always at this Costco!!!! I can find all my kiddos favorite foods,snacks and drinks. Dennis is literally the best cashier ever!!! He’s always smiling you can tell he likes his job.

Get in early. Saturdays are busy.
Most items I need, however you can over spend. Parking is tight and kids are always present. Weird that they look at your cart through self checkout then try to help me? I only had six things? Ok I thought. Now she wants to see my receipt!? OK and looked at her like she is the criminal. Heading out the door and again I’m stopped. This Christmas will be online shopping.
Great Costco location! Lots of helpful employees and they always have what I need! New products come in frequently so I’ve been introduced to a lot of great products during my shopping trips too. I also appreciate that if I’m not completely satisfied with my purchase, I can bring it back for a refund as long as I’m within their refund policy guidelines.
Weekend is terrible and disaster. So many people. I gave up the ordering foods and drinks in food court. Kiosk area was so crowded. I don’t want to order food at weekends. ???????? my husband bought an eye drops. They have wrong price tag. Before we pay and we told the cashier that price is wrong. but we used Costco cash (they already scan it at machine) so we have to return again. ????so my husband asked to them price match but they don’t want and manager doesn’t want to wrong price tag so we did refund.
