Just doing his job, nothing more, nothing less. Mother’s Day and we were able to slip in a reservation within 15 minutes but it took 30 minutes to be seated. No one has been overly friendly, not even with each other. The atmosphere of staff shows everyone is trained well to do their jobs but they are almost robotic. The waitstaff was nice, but we did wait an additional 15 minutes to be seated after we arrived with a reservation. For dinner, you get all of sides (cold and warm) from the salad bar in the middle. The meats are brought around and cut in front of you. Our waiter took our drink order and we were able to eat immediately after. Sadly, I do not have anything to rave about. The meats and sides were BLAND. Everything thing on my plate needed salt and pepper at a minimum. For a Brazilian steakhouse, I just expected so much more robust flavor. At a price point per person before tax, this was an expensive dinner to be so let down. Although our waiter was nice, I cannot say I would dine here again. Well, as you can see our crew thought everything was really great. We tried the shrimp and grits, bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on sourdough bread, the French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon, and a side order of sourdough bread with strawberry jelly. Forgot the take the before pictures but as you can tell everything was wiped pretty clean except for our one picky eater. Prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly!
The homemade croissants and coffee bar is what got me in. What I didn’t expect was getting a restaurant quality steak at a Cafe. It was the best steak I have eaten, better than in any steakhouse. Cooked perfectly, tender, melt in your mouth. The sour dough bread, croissants, all are top notch. You don’t even need butter. The coffee bar is fun. You get to pick your own mug and fill it with as much coffee as you want. Their coffee is really good and in fact you can purchase it if you really enjoy it. It is always packed so plan on waiting a little. This place isn’t really handicap ready and no strollers will fit either. It is inside an old building which make for a wonderful atmosphere but also some hurdles. Certainly a must try.
The food was very good. They ran out of 2 flavors of mimosa and the wait was over a hour to sit and eat. We did how however loved the fact that the general manager was bringing plates to the table. Overall a solid 4 stars ????
First off thank you, I enjoyed my dinning experience. The service was on point and the food cook exactly to order. Ordering a Over Medium well egg and it was perfect, on the Brisket and biscuit. The open coffee bar, is brilliant and taste awesome.
This is a Five star experience, so if your in Columbia, make this stop and enjoy.
Great meal every time we go! I ordered sunrise burrito with sausage, half order of hangover hash browns and a slice of their French toast. Husband got their crab eggs Benedict. Everything was wonderful as always! And friendly staff!
