With a nautical, beach theme found throughout this spacious home, the ocean view validates the experience of being seaside! If you’re interested in experiencing a tranquil beach getaway, but would like the option of enjoying an eclectic town like Venice, or stroll urban, metropolis streets equal to Third Street Promenade, then The Cottage is the perfect place to stay. Bottom-line, The Cottage is an incredibly located piece of real estate that exudes beach living, while offering unlimited amenities in one of the most diverse cities in our nation.

Amazing hospitality by Julie who is wonderful and really helpful.One of the best family holidays we enjoyed in a long time. Thank you for an amazing vacation and we will definitely be back and recommend to friends !

Staff was very helpful!3 years agoTHIS IS A SCAM RUN BY SCAMMERS. Clearly the two reviews are fake here. We had booked a stay with this company and HOURS before check-in said they TEXTED (which is sketchy) that they couldn’t have us that day anymore after we had a confirmation and everything. They will not respond or issue a refund. TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT BOOK HERE AT ALL.3 years agoExcellent apartment, comfortable and modern, in the common area there is a gym, thermal pool and barbecue. Underground garage. Great location, safe place, close to markets and snack bars.

DO NOT STAY HERE FOR YOUR HEALTH! If I could give 0 stars I would, I have also filed a complaint with the health department this hotel needs to be shut down. Horrible management, unsanitary conditions, an awful experience. Upon check in we noticed there was an awful smell coming from the fridge, we tried to ignore it. There was a nightclub below our room that pulsated a base until 3 am, when I woke up at 4:30 AM to use the bathroom the toilet flooded the entire room and I had to figure out how to turn off the water, we called management and they said ” do you realize it is 4:30 AM, can we deal with this later” AS THE HOTEL ROOM WAS FLOODING. Management left us without a room to move to, a solution, A BATHROOM and we were forced to leave at 4:30 AM, packing up our suitcases in TOILET WATER, meanwhile all the roaches started coming out and crawling all over the floor, there was one on the wall that was three inches in length. I have NEVER stayed in a more disgusting building with such AWFUL management, save your money, file a complaint with the health department and get this place shut down. They should not be allowed to operate and charge people almost $300/night for a room in this condition with these major health concerns.
Wasn’t horrible stay but wasn’t the best stay ever. Pros are: nice amenities, view, and amazing location. Code to enter should probably be given to guests before they arrive at the door, but whatever. Biggest problem was housekeeping. I’ve never encountered rude housekeeping staff in my life until this place! They constantly knocked on our door accusing us of wrongdoing because our window was open – mind you there is no AC. Not sure what having the window open has to do with doing anything wrong. She even unlocked our room and came on in. On our last day we were scrambling to get an Uber because our ride cancelled – she tried to kick us out of our room one hour before check out. Clearly they couldn’t wait for us to be gone! As you can see, the root of all problems was the housekeeping staff. I recommend this place but be prepared to have negative encounters with them.
let us drop our bags off early. it’s a cute little studio apartment style and perfect for a short stay. great location with many food options and the santa monica pier just steps away. lots of street noise since it’s above a restaurant/bar in downtown area but that’s to be expected given the location and didn’t bother us. also expect to walk up many flights of stairs with your luggage lol
The noise was JUST A NIGHTMARE
Just bellow a bar where you can feel every bass just by laying on the bed ! I don’t even understand how such a loud place can become a hotel !!
The service is…non existent…they give you a code to open the doors and we never met a single staff member ! Even like this, we had to call 2 times to get the codes.
The bathrooms are dirty, there are coakroachs, and everything is old…

To be avoided. The hotel is well located geographically but it is above a bar (noisy). A bit old-fashioned. No service (no people present at the reception; you have to phone to get the entrance codes). The manager is not correct: we had reserved 4 rooms (for 12 people); when we arrived, there were only 3 rooms. By phone, the manager sent us to another hotel for the 4th room saying that there was no extra charge. But in the end, we paid 400$ more than expected; the manager didn’t want to know anything and didn’t refund us the difference.
