What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. A pretty standard Embassy Suites. We had issues with our reservation and called ahead. The gentleman on the phone was a bit snippy and seemed annoyed. Check-in was smooth though. Room was very nice. Bedroom, sitting area, and bathroom were all spacious, clean, and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Great views from the 12th floor. Bathroom had toiletries which were high quality in large dispensers, not the tiny watered down bottles you typically get. Kudos for being environmentally friendly. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, it was a little subpar compared to other ES we stayed at. We attempted to enjoy the pool but it was overrun by obnoxious kids jumping in and out of both the pool and the hot tub. Also, all the nearby hotels seem to compete at who can play their music louder. I guess that’s what you get when you stay in a hotel by Disneyland. Speaking of which, the walk is about 20 min. We would stay again.

  2. First, the hotel looks nice, inside is pretty. First things first, our room wasn’t ready on time and it took us 3 trips and ultimately just leaving the hotel for a few hours as we were quoted 10-15 multiple times before finally not believing the quote times. The made to order breakfast is a buffet with an omelet station that shouldn’t even be advertised as edible. The voucher they made me carty around for Decent location, especially if going to Disneyland. On site restaurant and bar not open very much. It’s OK, but advertised perks seem better, but it’s actually just basic hotel stuff with fancy wording.

  3. A 15 minute walk to Disney. The ART buses are super affordable and stop right in front of the hotel every 30 minutes. Great complimentary happy hour snacks and delicious breakfast service.

Definitely my favorite place to stay for a Disneyland vacation! 10/10!

  4. I would give more stars because this hotel is physically pretty nice and great staff. However, it’s too close to Disney. If you aren’t going there it is far too busy and it only has four elevators for 14 floors so you have to wait 10 minutes every time you want to go up during breakfast time or anytime a lot of people are down in the lobby area. Plus, if you want to spend your time of around a bunch of noisy kids, great place to stay. Otherwise stay elsewhere.

  5. This location of this hotel is good but that’s about it. They clean the rooms almost everyday but they tend to take the towels with them and fail to leave new ones. Had to call the front desk 3 times because they failed to send someone. The front desk staff is useless and it takes forever to check in for no apparent reason. I complained about several small issues such as the parking they make you pay for each day then allow anyone and everyone to park there with no enforcement. Every night the ice cream place at the corner was mobbed and this is where they parked and took up all their he spots. Managements response was park somewhere else. There are so many other places to stay. I would look around.

We checked into this hotel relatively late at night, so didn’t get to use the pool or many of the other amenities. When we checked into our hotel room, there were no towels. We called the front desk and asked if they would put some aside for a morning pickup. The following morning (at 6AM mind you), we called the front desk and they said they had no towels and would not have any full size ones until 11AM.

Additionally, the bathroom had no toilet paper holder and there were tons of stains on the walls. The rest of the room was nice, but the bathroom clearly needed some work.

Breakfast was what you would expect.

So it’s right next to everything so it’s a great place.

Breakfast was perfect, always had plenty of what we were looking for and the coffee was never empty.

The kids loved the pool, it’s only 5′ at the deepest so it’s great for the kids to play in.

Towels were tricky to find sometimes. They just went fast. The front desk would bring them to your room if they were out.

Food trucks were always in the parking lot next to this one so that worked pretty well too.

We had about 10 rooms in our group, two people had to switch rooms due to the AC going out but it worked out.

We stayed here for 3 nights during Junior Olympics. The location was OK in that regard as it was pretty centrally located for all the pools that we needed to go to, however, there wasn’t much else nearby except a small strip mall with a couple of restaurants. The rooms were large, but had a lot of room for improvement. The small refrigerator acted more as a cooler without ice than a refrigerator. The bathroom door didn’t shut, no toilet paper holder (tp was just set on the tank of the tub), dirty and stained tub with a mat placed over it to try and hide it, and just overall spotty finishings. The bed was comfortable, but carpets were horribly stained. The free breakfast was decent and the small gym was nice although my key wouldn’t open the door. I had to ask the front desk to let me in. The front lobby looks like it has been updated and the rest of the place has been left behind.

Proximity to nearby activities is great. The room was half renovated (which consisted of a fresh coat of paint and replacing the wall “art”), we had no towels upon check-in, the ac didn’t work properly, and the toilet backed up. The room was also just dirty in general. Their famous hot breakfast was also unavailable until further notice on our last day. The main feature of the place is it’s a short drive to things and parking is free. Beyond that, it’s like you’re staying at a sketchy apartment complex.

We decided to take a shower after a long drive on Thursday, but there was no shampoo. It was hot on that day we tried to turn on the air conditioner but it didn’t work in our suite. We reported both incidents to the front desk first thing Friday morning, the lady told us she would have both taken care of. We left our rooms at 10am but when we returned after 4pm the problems were still there. We complained to the front desk, she did send somebody to fix the air conditioner. It turned on but the wind was not cool at all where as our son’s suite was nice and cool! The air was just at room temperature for the days while we were there. We were told that there would not be housekeeping service everyday, but we would get the service every three days and a service would be provided Saturday morning, but we didn’t get service on Saturday. We checked with the front desk Saturday in the afternoon, she told us nothing had been put down for our housekeeping service! She did request a service for us but not the same day, only on next day. We wouldn’t mind if you told us up front that there was no housekeeping service, so we knew what to expect and how we should prepare ourselves. We were very disappointed that they provided us the false information! We think both suites (ours and our son’s) were not ready and were not meant to be rented out because the hotel was under renovation. Our closet was very dusty and dirty. Our son did not say anything about the dust, but no hair conditioner was provided for his suite. We had been a loyal customer of this Best Western but not anymore! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

First time staying here at this hotel and will book at this hotel for all my Anaheim/CA nearby visits. Had a late check in and front desk hotel was very friendly and already had us checked in with keys ready to go.The rooms were spacious and super clean. Had a stocked kitchen with all the necessities to make and store meals. They offered a HOT full breakfast with plenty of options to chose from to satisfy any picky eater and offered plenty of seating for guests. Lots of amenities for entertainment in the patio area for the kids and adults. Had a gym and bar to cater to the adults. Close to all the major attraction areas in Anaheim but not to close to be competing with the traffic and crowds. Area was very safe to stay in. We loved our stay at Residence Inn.

So close to Disney you could walk, but there are two shuttle stops right near your hotel. The shuttles cost money so plan ahead. The rooms were amazing, spacious and had a small kitchen and living room to share between each bedroom. Two baths also were an added bonus.

Stay away as far as possible. Worst service experienced here during the stay – have been using Residence Inn for last 5+ yrs regularly but this one changed the whole view of Residence Inn.

It is an insult on Marriott group to have such a hotel under their brand name. – the receptionist are arrogant, talked to 3 & all of them failed to do as promised & one of them was most arrogant- wonder how come she was hired in Hospitality industry – room was stinky – dishwasher didn’t worked & after complaining no one cared to fix it during stay ( the whole idea of renting a hotel with kitchen failed) – requested for housekeeping before heading out for the day trip, and it is not done, on returning when compliant about same, they blamed on housekeeping not doing as requested.

This was worst experience than a sneaky highway motel experience so make sure to book only if you want your family to go through all the above else stay away from this one.

Opening a case with Marriott group also for this worst experience.

We stayed at this hotel in February of this year and we loved it. We got a very good price through disneyland App since this is a good neighbor hotel. We stayed at a kids suite and it was great. It has 2 bathrooms, 3 beds, living room area, kitchen and accesories to Cook. There is a tv in each room and WiFi in the room. The place is very clean, it has outdoor swimming pool and it is very well maintained. They have free breakfast which is great before heading to the Parks. They serve eggs, some dishes like burritos or Meat, cereal, yogurt, Milk, fruit, bread. The front desk personnel is very nice. They charge for parking and the Parks are within walking distance, not very close but it is Still doable, we used to walk for around 30 minutes with 3 young kids to get to the Parks. There are plenty of options to buy food nearby. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The location is great, there are dining options close, and the bus for Disneyland stops right next to the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The outdoor area is awesome. They have a basketball court, grills and outdoor dining, and the swimming pool is large with a hot tub and kid pool. The breakfast area is large with plenty of options. The only thing that wasn’t great is the rooms are a bit run down. They are sparsly decorated, appliances old bathroom very dated and just an overall old feeling.
