Go to any other grocery store in Prince George. The shelves are always an absolute mess and poorly organized. Multiple times the shelf price is always different from the till price and the workers will fight you tooth and nail over it. Harassed to join a credit card every single time. Prices are not low enough to validate shopping here often. There are some very pleasant people working here, but I try to avoid this place like the plague.
It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I was hoping it had improved, but unfortunately it hasn’t.
Bell Peppers, Cucumbers and other vegetables were rotting on their displays, the peppers so much so that they were sitting in their own juices. We informed the five staff members that were standing near Self Checkout, chatting, but we were met with very little concern. As we left we saw the Employee working in produce reorganising some of the rotting cucumbers… Not removing them. Disgusting.
Reasonable price and great one stop shop.
We usually buy clothes, groceries, shoes and everything you need for home.
Helpful staff.
They have all asian Chinese groceries.
Worldwide food products.
Cakes are baked fresh. I love the chocolate frost.
Don’t go here. I’m a legal adult and I was under constant supervision, and harassed at self checkout. I have zero pockets on me, just my phone and the things I was going to buy in my hands. This man decides to move from across the checkout, directly to beside me to watch me. I looked back because he was breathing down my neck and I gave a laugh like “are we really doing this?” So I turn around and continue scanning, then I felt him move closer to me and I just said I’m not dealing with this and left. Worst Walmart in bc.( as I was waiting in line I noticed he did not do this to anyone else but me.)
I like walmart. Staffs do their best to be helpful and I appreciate it. Price of some items are also good. The main issue about walmart in my opinion is rotten fruit and vegetables. However it is much better these days. And the second issue is that the staff does not spend much time reorgenizing the shelves and aisles. So it makes it hard to find the price and also confuse you at the time of payment.
