  I had the team from Showtime at my place for a sizeable renovation on an older home at the end of August. I was well aware of what the cost of opening up an older home from the 1950s would involve and I was not surprised at all when things spiralled out of control in regards to cost and time.

  Sunny not only made sure she was on site to facilitate the worries and issues caused by having a renovation in an older home. She managed to save me a significant amount of money mitigating these additional issues while not sacrificing quality or time.

  For those unaware of what renovating a home from the 1950s can include, the least is plumbing or insulation or foundation issues. The worst include potential asbestos and knob and tube wiring. Sunny was incredibly hands on and very easy to get in tough with regarding almost every aspect of my renovation and I can not stress enough how nice it is to have someone be so honest and forthcoming about the realities of my renovation.

  5 stars for sure and she has a dog which is a huge plus.

  Images included are the before and mostly after as well as the trench in my laundry room and kitchen to mitigate the plumbing disaster we uncovered that her and her plumber dealt with so quickly.

  My wife and I embarked on a comprehensive home improvement project with Showtime, consisting of two phases that spanned from March to June 2021 and August to December 2022.

  During phase one, Showtime tackled a myriad of tasks, including a full bathroom renovation, replacement of outdoor stairs, upgrading of house wiring, and various aesthetic enhancements. Notably, they completely re-did our plumbing to a modern standard. The challenges of working with a 40’s vintage home were expertly navigated, and the team’s attention to detail ensured the property met strict inspection standards for short-term rentals.

  In phase two, Sunny and the team impressively demolished and replaced our kitchen and another bathroom. Despite the inherent surprises in older homes, Sunny and the team showcased their expertise in intricate tile work, cabinetry, plumbing, and electrical systems. The challenges of the unique property characteristics and supply chain disruptions during COVID were handled with professionalism.

  Throughout both phases, they were consistently responsive and accountable. Sunny’s collaborative and knowledgeable approach, coupled with a high degree of skill, facilitated discussions on addressing unexpected challenges.

  Under Sunny’s leadership, both projects were delivered with precision, meeting expectations in terms of timeline, budget, and quality. Even two/three years down the road, the enduring quality and workmanship of Showtime Home Builders continues to impress.

  Extremely professional, exceptional work by experts whom clearly take pride in their workmanship. We are thrilled with the work that has been done to our home, and can honestly say this crew went above and beyond in problem-solving drainage and some other site issues that came up along the way. We were in excellent hands with BBB!

  The crew has been incredibly hard-working and courteous; the site has been tidied up of all their tools each night, and they have started first thing in the a.m. every morning and just go all day. We’ve been in constant communication with them, as they’ve checked in with us every day to ensure all is well and the project is going as we envisioned. It was such a stress-free process for us.

  The 1* reviews here of this company (from people who didn’t even have any work done by them…?) are hilarious. Newsflash, businesses that are good at what they do, will generally be busy – and these guys are the best around. You might have to wait a while, and it will be well worth it.

  Block by Block is creative, efficient and professional. They did quality work and were able to understand our needs, by viewing the site, interviewing the owners and asking questions before and during the work, to customize the project to meet the owners needs and fit in with the landscaping and surrounding area. The work teams were professional, respectful and conscientious. They kept a clean worksite to the point of sweeping the street at the end of every day.
