a week agoASK Environmental did asbestos removal from my home last October and damaged my home extensively. This statement is on their website “Our trained team ensures proper protocols are being followed in the removal of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs). From setup of air-tight containments, the physical removal of Asbestos materials, and the final clean and tear down of containments, we want to provide you with the assurance that your space is safe to return to.”The employees damaged heating pipes in both my bathrooms and duct taped one of them to try to stop the water. This didn’t work so they shut down my whole boiler system and left my home unheated and with damaged pipes without telling anyone . It was so shocking to walk into our freezing house and to find out that a company would leave our home damaged and unheated in October. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I am disabled and I felt very unsafe coming back to my home. We needed an emergency plumber to come cap the pipe and turn on the heating system. We have resolved the problem by being reimbursed for the damage.a month agoMy experience with Ask has been very positive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jesse in the future as it’s obvious he knows what he’s talking about and prioritizes customer experience and responsiveness. This is refreshing and we’ll keep him in mind for future.3 years agoI called ASK on Monday Dec 27 at 11 AM regarding testing of a tile product. I talked to Rachel and for what I consider to be a reasonable cost I engaged ASK with a service. Rachel gave me as much information as I needed in an extremely efficient manner. An absolute charm to deal with her. At hour 54 (7 pm Dec 30), I paid my invoice and 3 minutes later received the inspection report , specifically because Rachel was still working at 7 PM. I called to thank her, but the manager Jesse returned my call 2 minutes later and explained the results in a completely informative and concise format. Jesse went above and beyond what one could expect of an immaculate professional. If anyone in Alberta ( I was born here ) needs assistance with hazardous materials, I HIGHLY recommend ASK. 4 years agoJosh was able to co-ordinate between my timeline and the engineers to get a crew out for a geotechnical drill on fairly short notice. The crew he sent out were well prepared and professionals on the job. They worked efficiently and got the job done in a safe and timely manner. I originally heard about them when looking into drilling providers that specialized in direct push drilling for environmental assessments. Josh is always fantastic to deal with and works with us and with the onsite crews to make sure we get the right services for the right prices on each of our jobs.
