- Reviews:I stopped here, driving through from Arizona to Oregon, in an emergency trip as my father was passing away. My English Bulldog was over excited and would no calm down. The only staff available, aside from cashiers, were trainers and hospital staff. Cashiers gave no opinion about what to do. The hospital receptionist advised me he’d have to go through a full check up and become a patient. I advised him of the emergency. Would only state that my dog’s panting was fine. My dog was dead an hour later. Companies like PetSmart love them only as far as your money ???? goes.By Glen Christiansen (a month ago)A couple of weeks we were in Ontario, CA. Our Yorkie needed a grooming session so we made an appointment with this location. The following morning, we went in for our appointment and Adam was the groomer. I have never been so disappointed and furious with our pets haircut. She was shaven alway to the skin on the backs of her front legs and her chest.i called and spoke with the manager Luis and even emailed him pictures. I tried calling back on several occasions but now can’t seem to get him on the phone. I even called their corporate office with no help either. Extremely poor customer service from petsmart all together.By James McBryde (a week ago)My dog was hurt at Petsmart. Staff was trying to give the story of what happened during grooming but I was told different stories by different staff. The manager was helpful in exposing things but I was informed that the grooming areas do not get audited that frequently or reviewed for sharp objects. My dog was hurt because the kennel was not audited correctly for sharp objects before placing my dog inside.By Alberto Venegas (3 months ago)Very helpful employees.Everthing is clearly marked and very organized within the store. This is a great stop for anyone with pets or looking to have one in the future.By Anthony Perez (a month ago)No one was in grooming when I arrived. The line of traffic for the Isley Brothers swallowed me up, and slowed my trip to a crawl. When i got them (Jacob & Bella) they were priceless.By Timothy Schultz (a year ago)

- Reviews:I found my new best friend here a year ago and he’s the perfect cat. The staff was great and helpful. I got him after I had lost my cat of 16 years so I was very nervous about getting a new kitty, but I’m so thankful I did! He’s very loving and talkative!By FloffleMuffins (5 months ago)Shelters have been given such a bad name but this place is truly a safe haven for animals. We just got our sweet well trained girl from them this week and couldn’t be happier. So glad we we’re chosen to give her a forever home. Thank you all so much ❤️ Sugar (Luna) says hi ????By Juanita Chapman (2 weeks ago)Got my kitten in August. He’s the cutest little kitty ever. The animal center was very efficient and took care of everything.By Preshus Mack (5 months ago)My dog was snatched from out of his second home because of this place ,i say second because it was a temporary place we found him when my partners parents wanted to get rid of him ,he was living there for a few months and one day the elderly lady there went to the hospital and we went to check on him daily like we normally do and he was taken here ,I exhausted my options trying to get him a home ,he was living there because we don’t have a home of our own ,i was given only two days before i had to surrender him and was not allowed to see him ,I ran out crying feeling impotent In being unable to save the love of my life , my special boy oso ,he is elderly and has a cataract in one eye ,I don’t see them posting elderly dogs on their Instagram ,only puppies ,I hope my boy who is full of life wasn’t put down but I fear so but I also hope he’s being taken care of or adopted ,i can only guess ,I’m heartbroken and forever will have my oso in my heart ,I wish they wouldn’t have disturbed his place of living ???? Update:Rc animal center only had him for a day when they decided they were going to euthanize my life loving boy ,somehow by a miracle golden years dog sanctuary in Silmar was able to save him ,I talked to the woman who runs it Susan and she seemed ok over the phone ,I asked if i could visit him and she agreed ,but once I got there right on time on the day and time she agreed upon her demeanor was far different ,upon arriving she said oh no you were supposed to be here at a different time ,which wasn’t true and we came all the way from Rancho Cucamonga ,she then made us sign a paper that said we are entering at our own risk ,ok I’ll risk anything for oso ,she changed my 12 year old boys name to chow mein which I also don’t understand ,but ok she saved his life so I was fine with that ,when I got to where the dogs were being kept i realized her claims on her website were false ,stating that they have “dogominiums” with ac and heating ,far from it ,just two unkept kennels and a lot of dirt ,oso loves trees and plants ,their were none ,when I saw him he had lost so much weight and seemed confused in comparison to the energetic happy boy he was with me one month prior ,she doesn’t seem like she gives them individual care ,seemed to have a hard time handling so many elderly dogs ,even made a joke about another dog trying to kill oso ,she was very rude and in a span of 10 minutes, once again coming from an hour away kicked us out ,I was and am still so sad ,I Wish he was with me and not with someone like her or was ever taken from me in generalBy Jeanine (6 months ago)We found a dog during the weekend, and they were able to help the poor baby. I hope he finds a good home.By JoAnne (a month ago)

Thank you for reading! If you have any additional information on the best Cat Adoption in Ontario CA, please leave a comment below. We would love to hear from you!
I adopted my kitten “Poppy” from here in September. I have since named her Mochi. They have a very kind and helpful staff. I told them that I had a cat that was two years old and a small dog that is 4 years old and needed to make sure that the cat I was getting was comfortable with them both. The worker was able to point out some cats that she thought would be comfortable with other pets. I decided to get Poppy and I am so glad. She is a great fit for our family and we all love her especially her brothers.
IVHS is our local animal shelter. They have a new vet clinic building and everything is always clean. We adopted all 3 of our pets from here. They have a great foster program from bottle-fed babies up to elderly pets & can use your help–please volunteer. Their adoption program & system is excellent and handled online with a digital wait-list that texts you when it’s your turn to come in, so no wasted time or crowded waiting around at the shelter to adopt. You can even foster-adopt, which allows you to take in an adoptable animal to see how it fits in with your home, children, and other pets before fully adopting. The workers & volunteers really care deeply and it shows when you’re there. IVHS is also your place to get your dog & cat licenses and low-cost vet care and vaccines. They do so much to help all God’s creatures! Please consider adopting your new pet friend from IVHS–there are sweet, adorable, furry friends just waiting for your love!
I’ve loved all my dogs but Duke was mine / the best dog I ever had. I got him at Inland Valley Humane Society back in 2011. I was looking for our lost family dog, we checked IVHS a few times to see if he was brought in and Duke was part of a litter at the time. After a few weeks of no luck, I chose Duke. He was good luck! As we were walking out, guess who was walking in. Lady handed my dog Buddy right back over. Best day, kiss your dogs for me, I miss them both.
Terrible. This bird is stuck and unable to free itself from something attached to this roof at 618 Eucalyptus Ave. Ontario. Then the emergency officer puts me on hold to get me off the phone. Good job people. Hours later the bird still hangs from a clear line dead. Disappointed completely ar the lack of concern or compassion from these people.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We went on a Wednesday and found a dog. The process to get on the wait list is like getting a concert ticket. However, it was very helpful. We were third in line and We were able to adopt our dog that Saturday. The process of adoption is very easy. I highly suggest that you fill out the application at home. It helps it go by so much quicker. We were in and out of there in about 35 minutes with our new dog
