- Reviews:I loved it. The dogs can be very loud until you bring them out then they become these sweet quiet furbabies again. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It’s about 110$ for dogs and 85$ for cats. However, I adopted my sweet cat about 7 months ago from this shelter when I brought him home he had a sneezing problem it was clear he had an upper respiratory infection and they’re common in shelters so that made sense. He got over it and wasn’t sneezing anymore. A few weeks ago my roommate brought home a kitten from this shelter and he had the same problem and now my cat has a sever upper respiratory infection again and is very congested. The doctor as well as the assistant helping him were amazing with our two dogs. They were very attentive and patient despite our dogs being a little nervous. Very quick and friendly to deal with. However, I’m not sure the woman’s name that was working in the front. She was older, wears glasses, on the bigger side, and has short and dirty blond hair. Her attitude was very unpleasant. She is clearly not fit for a front desk position because the way she was speaking to me as well as other customers showed that she does not like her job. Her delivery, demeanor, and tone of voice really rubbed us the wrong way. She gave us the wrong instructions for the medication prescribed so make sure you read directions on the medication and talk to the doctor about it instead. The doctor and assistant definitely made the experience better.
Awesome place to find your forever companion. Very respectful employees. Go above and beyond to make it a pleasant and helpful experience. Very well educated staff. I recommend to adopt here if your in the finding your pet companion.
I’ve been taking my cat to the Humane Society for 12 years. They’re very compassionate and trustworthy. They respond quickly, and provide convenient service. They’ve definitely been very helpful, caring and supportive over the years. I always s recommend them!!
