- Reviews:I’ve had Larry & Sons come out to service my geothermal on two occasions during the summer heat. The second time I needed a technician it was urgent-our system had completely shut down in late July and we had a newborn at home. They were very prompt and able to schedule a technician much sooner than local competitors. It turned out to be a blown capacitor, which the tech quickly addressed and replaced. My only reason for not giving five stars is the price gouging on parts; the universal capacitor could be found on Amazon for ~$70, whereas they charged me $420 for the exact same part! I could understand some markup as it’s a big part of how HVAC companies make their money, but 500% markup is crazy. Since I was without A/C and have a newborn in the house I obviously couldn’t wait for Amazon to ship the item, so had to bite the bullet and overpay. If you are DIY savvy and like to fix things yourself I recommend giving it a go as you can replace a lot of parts yourself for that kind of markupBy BG Heickman (6 months ago)Called them to come out and see why our water wasn’t working, the guy came over to the “crawl space” where our tank/ pump is. Saw water on the ground and said he would try to figure it out. Didn’t even take time to look around. Also didn’t look to see where our well was. After finding the problem ourselves (with the help of a plumber). The water pump and pressure tank need to be replaced… I gave them a call back and asked for an estimate for that job because we already paid for them to come out a “diagnose” ( when they really did nothing). She stated we would have to pay full price again for them to come out and figure out the problem. When we already know what the problem is. She also proceeded to make smart remarks about how we found out what the problem was and to get our friend to fix it for us then. Rude & unprofessional. 0⭐️‘SBy lea meitzler (10 months ago)I appreciate how forthright the technician was. Setting up an appointment was easy. The tech only charged me for the diagnostics fee and made various recommendations along with a rough estimate of each. I listened to his recommendations and decided to buy the part myself and install it, worked like a charm. Good, quality and friendly people. I would not hesitate to go with them againBy B (a year ago)Donnie did an excellent job! He listened to my explanation of the problem, then went right to work. In no time he found and fixed the problem. Will I use Larry and Sons, Inc. again? You bet, especially if all the techs are like Donnie. Thanks Donnie!By Abigail Taylor (4 years ago)Larry and sons is a pretty fast and efficient company. The technicians are good that I have encountered. But I feel like management and the company is taking advantage and overcharging customers for products that they really secure at rock bottom pricing. And then claiming inflation that seems to be the Magic word to justify deepening companies profit margins these days. Gas companies are doing it , so all these companies feel like they can as well.By Nelle Nelle (10 months ago)

- Reviews:Overall a great experience. We had requested quotes from a couple companies before deciding on O’Connor. Their quote for a water heater install and expansion tank was comparable to other local business, but we appreciated how responsive O’Connor was throughout the whole process. Steve Parker arrived on-time and was very professional. He installed the water heater and expansion tank. We also added a shut-off valve and new main water valve. Steve was informative about the products and explained add on services without being pushy. I would recommend Steve from O’Connor to family and friends.By T. B. (5 months ago)I decided to have O’Connor Plumbing install a water softener/filtration system to address the hard water issues in my house. Calvin Collins, my service technician, was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Calvin arrived on time, took the time to lay down covering to protect my hardwood floors and completed the install ahead of schedule. Calvin answered all of my questions and explained in great detail how the system worked, the type of salt required and any maintenance required on my part. I am looking forward to using this system to address my hard water issues. I strongly recommend O’Connor Plumbing and wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future.By Derrick Lawton (6 months ago)This is my second review (first is below). Because I had such a good experience when I called O’Connor Plumbing the last time, I called them when my kitchen faucet leaked and stopped dispersing cold water. I wasn’t sure if it could be repaired or would require replacement, so I bought a new faucet just in case. The next morning, Trevor arrived, diagnosed the problem (a part inside the faucet), got the part, and fixed the problem. So now I don’t have to pay for the installation, which would have cost more than a repair AND I get to return the faucet. All in all, the repair cost me $250 less than buying the new faucet and having it installed. Am I happy? You bet I am! I wrote it before and I’ll write it again: If I have a plumbing issue, O’Connor is the company I’ll call. Great work, reasonable prices, and good people. Recently, whenever I flushed the toilet my bathtub would gurgle. Trevor came over, inspected everything, and couldn’t find a problem, so he called his supervisor. In the end, it was simply because I had not used that bathtub in a long time and the trap containing water had evaporated, producing the sounds every time I flushed the toilet. He filled the bathtub, let it drain, then flushed the toilet and everything was fine. I also mentioned to him that I didn’t like my toilet because it took so long to fill. He inspected it and found that there was a problem with the fill mechanism and told me that he could fix it but it was a really easy fix that I could do it myself without incurring the expense of a plumber. In fact, I’ve done that repair myself several times. I could have been charged extra for the time that Trevor spent with me but instead, I was just charged for the initial house call fee. It would’ve been easy to take advantage of me. That didn’t happen and whenever I have a plumbing problem, I know exactly who I’m going to call. It’s a great experience dealing with honest people. I highly recommend O’Connor Plumbing.By Ann Werner (6 months ago)O’Connor replaced our water softener and whole house filters, which involved rerouting pipes. Their 2 plumbers, Calvin and Clay, did an outstanding job, no leaks, and made sure everything was laid out neatly and is easily accessible. It looks much nicer than our old setup. They completed the work in less than a day even though there were a lot of details involved. They protected the floor and cleaned up everything. They programmed the softener and it works fine as intended. Best of all they had no issue installing equipment that I had purchased; other plumbers would only install their much pricier proprietary equipment. O’Conner was very easy to work with and their price was much, much better than any competitor. Check them out if you need plumbing work done!By Eckhard Kleinau (4 months ago)Calvin arrived at the agreed upon time, explained what would be involved in order to unclog a basement toilet obstruction and presented an estimate. He was friendly, patient and efficient as he completed the work. We greatly appreciated his professionalism. The problem is fixed and the clean up was meticulous. I highly recommend O’Connor plumbing and Calvin.By Margaret Kelley (2 months ago)

So far I have only been in contact with this company for a couple of weeks for a gas furnace + ac install and the experience has been excellent. The inspectors and customer service were great and timely with setting up my appointments. The installers were very professional the entire time they were here, and gave me a thorough explanation of their process and the new components after they were done. So my experience up to this point has been 5/5.
I have used Tuckers for almost 20 years. I have found them incredibly knowledgeable, dependable and honest. I had also read during the pandemic, rather than let go of staff when revenue was down, they used that time to further train their employees. From my experiences with their company over all these years, that commitment is clearly evident.
We just had a steam humidifier installed and could not be more thrilled with Tucker’s service. Everyone has been incredibly kind and helpful from the very start with our 1st call. In fact, we were getting estimates from several other companies and were so impressed with Tuckers that we decided to go with them. We would recommend them highly to any one.
I’ve been having issues with the AC for about a year and got everything updated today. Tuckers has been very responsive and has been extremely transparent with me the entire way through the process.
Jose Rivera and his crew were both knowledgeable and considerate on how make the install as efficient as possible. Sean, the install manager for the company also came out to inspect their work.
The Cons-
1. When I had the lineset replaced the crew made holes in the ceiling and did not repair them, which is common. However, it would have been nice to have a team come in after to patch up (just my two cents).
2. On the install today, they probably could have made another pass with the vacuum. Not at all a big deal, but I found some small sharp metal scraps that could cause injury. They were confined to a small space and I vacuumed them myself.
Very informative. Very pleasant. The technician has 20 plus years experience. When you have a technician state that he will be spending the rest of his career with his employer/company, you know you have good people working for you. That is most impressive. Never tried to sell the top of the line system. Install was good. Now we get to experience the system we purchased.
