It is said this is the best hotel in Town.. Most reviews commended on the spaciousness of the rooms, no doubt about it. My comments will be on details: 1. I love the shower, the water pressure and hot water.. 2. The bed sheet is kinda old. 3. The squeaking wardrobe closet door make it look so cheap. 4. Bed side night/reading lamp just needing tightening of the bolt or screw to firmly keep it in place. 5. Corridor Carpet is dirty better replaced with non-slip hard materials 6. I am ok with walking from car parking all around the hotel. May be you can put a signage stating how many steps to lobby and how many calories burned freely by walking. Overall stay is good experience. The hallway carpet, in particular, appears to have mould, making it in dire need of cleaning or replacement. First of all, id say the room looks very outdated and the furniture is very old looking and the room we got had missmatched paint which is kind of offputting. Next up is the pool which also looks very old adn at the time i was here they were still refilling up the pool i believe. Besides that, id say the breakfast here is okay its not bad its not good and there wasnt really many options. On the other hand id say the location of the hotel is very nice and close to the beach. So the place really needs a renovation
A large hotel complex near the beach. Nice view over the sea and the beach. Even nicer if they cared to clean the balcony door and window. Spacious rooms and air conditioning is fine — not too cold nor too warm. Bathroom also spacious, although with only rain shower available and a narrow glass wall separating the rest of the bathroom, it’s unavoidable to splash all over the floor.
Wall insulation is poor, so noisy neighbours can be a problem for the light sleepers. As the hotel is popular with families you will encounter children running up and down the corridor.
Breakfast is lousy, the coffee is undrinkable and if you’re down late (like nineish), hot food is either too cold or overcooked. If you want eggs, you have to ask specifically. Also, staff Are unattentive about cleaning breakfast tables, we had to do this ourselves.
At RM 350 a night I think it’s grossly overpriced.
Stayed at this hotel recently. Many things need immediate attention of the management team.
1. Glasses used during breakfast were not either not washed at all or just not properly cleaned. I noticed this on 11.3.23 where almost all glasses in the batch got dry stain of juices on the inner surface of them. Very unhygienic. Even my small kid immediately react ‘yuckk’ when he was about to get a glass of guava juice and he cancelled the plan.
2. Loaf of bread with fungi. That was spotted on 9.3.23 and was informed to the staff and they removed it immediately. But it shouldnt happen in the first place. As if there is no supervisor checking prior to serving
3. Wanted luggage assistance for checkout and called 0 x 4 over 10 min with no answer. Had to go down just to get that informed. Told by the counter it should be no 2 button and not 0 and the counter staff said the guide is on the phone in the room but it is none.
All 3 are not acceptable given the status of the hotel and the price tag of the room. Dont think this hotel fits a 4-star tag
Hotel has seen better days. You can really see its age and not well maintained. Pool is small and not appealing. No deck chairs along the beach. And there were mosquitoes in the room
nice place, convenient to access city center, after 11:30 they closed back door, if your beach lover, you have to take front door to access late night. overall very nice place and we really enjoyed our stay and breakfast.
