- Reviews:$50 bogus “convenience” charge for making account changes? I was simply joining an existing plan with a new line, and I paid the $50. Unfortunately Verizon has proved to be an unbearable carrier with the worst customer service in existence. Over 3 hours on the phone with zero cell service. Completely incompetent staff over at Verizon corporate, but that’s a story for another time. Anyways, I cancel all service for Verizon and speak with this store about refunding the fee, as no service was completed or provided. I was briefly denied with no real solid reason as to why the fee is non-refundable. Sounds like a bogus way for these slimy workers to get their commission perhaps? Nonetheless, I recommend taking business to other carriers and perhaps avoiding the whole brick and mortar operations to avoid bogus charges that are nothing but lining their pockets.By James Ford (in the last week)I ran into the Riverside location after a bad experience in another state. My new phone was overheating and many of my photos had been lost in translation. Estefani Segura to the rescue! Her bright friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease and her four years of experience showed as she quickly replaced the phone and FOUND the rest of my photos in the cloud! - Reviews:This store needs to better their customer service. I came in to upgrade 2 lines and only ended up doing 1 due to their poor customer service as my husband really needed a new phone for work. The girl mentioned i would be charged a 30$ “set up fee” i asked what was included in that fee and she said i would get my phone set up and transfered from my old one. I metioned i could do that myself but she proceeded to say it was a charged they canot waive and she would take care of my activation and transfer. I agreed to it thinking i would walk out with the phone set up but instead she handed me the phone still sealed in the box and said you are good to go. So then i asked her to make sure it was at least active and she said it was active. Why did i get changed a 30$ fee for a service i didnt receive? My stuff was not transfered when i got home i realized the phone wasnt even activated. Since it was after hours verizons customer service was closed and i had to sit on a chat with a robot for almost 2 hours to get the phone activated. Ibwas charged 30$ for nothing to get done. I also rrquested a reciept before leaving and the representative told me it would be in my email. I never got the email so i called the next day and explained the situation to the male representative that answered. He was not sympathetic at all and said thats a fee they charge everyone. I then asked for my receipt again and he said he wasnt able to email it after i left the store i had to pick it up in person. I asked to speak to a manager and he said he would put me on hold to see what he can do about the reciept for 20 min! I hung up after waiting so long and called right back only to be answered by another representative that sent my receipt instantly. Avoid this storr at all cost !! Verizon needs to really look into their employees. You can tell he enjoys his job.By Joshua Stowe (5 months ago)This one star is for the guy with glasses and beard who works here, I didn’t even bother to ask his name as he was very unprofessional and rude, all I asked him was “my new Verizon line which i bought 4 days ago is not able to receive any texts and calls and I’m missing out on important stuff” and he literally said he cannot help me with that and I have to figure it out myself my question is what is he there for? Didn’t Verizon hire him to help the customers? When I questioned him if he cannot help me with it then who will? He started arguing with me again saying he cannot help with that and told me to come back later. When I went back later he literally ignored me and went on with other customers which was fine as I didn’t want to deal with him anyways. Dude, if you don’t like your job then find something else to do? But, a very big thanks to Andrea who stepped in to help me with my phone. She is very professional and patience and knowledgeable, she took her time to help me and made sure I went home with a working phone. Andrea has a very positive attitude and I could tell she genuinely takes her job seriously and helps customers as much as she can. I was helpless as my phone wasn’t working for 4 days, I truly appreciate Andrea alot, Verizon need to hire more employees like Andrea . Called and a guy said to come in and he would help me set up my new phone to save me the aggravation I’ve experienced with previous Verizon phone set ups. Instead, there was a rude girl, who wanted me to risk bricking my phone because she only knows one way of doing things. I’m not taking the SIM card out of my old phone to put it in my new phone, when Verizon specifically said NOT TO. Set it up myself after getting a REAL Verizon employee on the phone. Rudest “service” I’ve had in years. Thanks for reminding me why I don’t bother with malls much anymore.
If you order upgrade online to pick up in store or call customer service it says they have a specific phone. You even get an email confirming the phones ready for pick up. But when you call to confirm THEY DONT HAVE IT AND YOU HAVE TO CALL CUSTOMER SRRVICE TO CANCEL ORDER.
Bianca was amazing. She helped with fixing my plan, getting me a new phone and retrieving all my data that I thought was lost. Very attentive and customer focused. I wish there was a Bianca at every store I visit.
