Our waitress was very patient and helpful to answer menu questions and help accommodate my vegetarian order. Peking duck is carved table-side and served with yeasty steamed pancakes/crepes, pickled daikon + carrots, julienned scallions, and Hoisin sauce. The remainder of the duck is taken back and cooked in one of several ways. We opted for the stir-fry with bean sprouts. Everything was well-seasoned. The duck dish will feed 3-4. - Reviews:First of all, it’s undeniable the food was good. In terms of food, this place is qualified for at least 4 stars. However, dining in a restaurant isn’t all about the the food. The quality of service also matters. During peak hours, it was OK for us to wait for 15 minutes to be seated and we totally understood that. However, after we had been sitting there for over 20 minutes, nobody came to take the orders from us and we had to ask someone to help us. They had excuse but it was kind of lame. It was clear that they just forgot about us because they were busy. Also, no silverware or plates were provided until the food was served after another 20 – 25 minutes. No one ever came to us and asked us if we needed a refill. They had a few dishes on the menu that my friend remembered from growing up in China and Malaysia so we ordered a bunch of stuff. The server had to practically pry the menu from his hands lol. We got hunan shrimp, braised pork, grilled lamb with cumin, green onion pancakes, and pea pod leaves. Everything was fantastic! Omg I can see why this place is so popular! My husband and I are new to sushi eating, and we both were super satisfied and full when we were done! He got the heart attack and the monster, and I got the Caribbean and the delicious. The plate was beautiful, the servers were all very sweet and helpful, and attentive. Ordered 2 pieces of sweet egg nigiri to take home for our daughter to try. Even the carry out container looked nicely decorated! Definitely coming back very very soon!
Best sushi place I’ve ever been , the food tastes and looks great and the staff is very friendly! 10 out of 10 went during the week when slower and highly reccomended
This has to be my favorite sushi restaurant in the area. The place is small and it’s always busy. There is usually a wait on the weekend but the time passes quickly. Service is quick which is nice. Their sushi is phenomenal. Also their side salad with the sesame dressing is amazing. I always take a quart full to go of the dressing. I highly recommend the Snow White roll, Las Vegas roll, heart attack roll, salmon pizza roll. Those are some of my favorites but there’s many more to try!

Came here to eat with some friends and my hubs. First time here but heard good things about this place. Was spontaneous decision to eat here and was glad we were seated with no wait. However, it took a while for our server to take our order but I attribute that to them being busy during the dinner rush (we were there at 6pm).
I had the fish salad while my hubs had 2 sushi rolls, another friend an shrimp/ebi roll and another friend had salmon rolls with a soup dish. I would have taken more pictures but my other friends’ food was out of reach and I was hungry. ????
So, I haven’t had Hwe dup bap in a while so I ordered it. Also, it’s also my metric dish on which I rate a restaurant. I was pretty happy with the size of the salad and the variety that was in there. I have my palm placed next to the bowl for size reference. I mixed the spicy sauce into the salad and ATE THE WHOLE THING.
I think this dish is meant for two people to share but OH WELL it was delicious. I could have asked for more gochujang but the servers seemed busy and we were short on time.
Definitely will come back here again; I left full and happy.
Super place to get sushi. I really need to go back and check out more of the menu but I knew when they served authentic Japanese soda I was going to be in for a treat. The nail the basics of fresh fish and ingredients, but the creative sushi choices are delicious and well put together. Execution was great as well. A+ sushi place in my book.
