- Reviews:Food was excellent!! Steak was succulent & well seasoned. Tempura Calamari was scrumptious! Chicken lettuce wrap was so good I’m craving it every day. Ambiance was awesome! Had a nice view! Service was pretty top notch. The server communicated really well. The food came out really fast. The only issue is he spilled an entire glass of water on me. ???? I would totally return and bring my family over!By Cybill Getgood (3 weeks ago)Visited this restaurant a long time ago and did it again after a few years. The restaurant was not busy during lunch hours, so we were served drinks and food very fast. Our service was outstanding ( from bartender to server) and we definitely enjoyed our visit.By Mel Lara (2 weeks ago)Everything was delicious. I recommend the Mongolian beef and the signature lo mein. We also got the peach boba refresher and it was perfect. Not too sweet and amazingly refreshing. Our server Cassidy was awesome. The booth we sat in was a bit cramped and she made it happen for us to sit at a more comfortable table. Additionally she was cheerful and gracious and on the ball. The food runners and other service staff were also very chill and had good vibes. Overall, a delicious meal with great service. Will return here most definitely.By Eric Arzaga (a week ago)Love Paige at the PF Chang in Fashion Valley! She is outstanding! Her customer service is excellent, her kindness, her courtesy, her genuine smile and care were very inviting. She made lunch today a peaceful and very pleasant experience. Love PF Chang.????By Lisa M Harris (2 weeks ago)Lunch with a view. Our server was great, we were seated immediately but have to admit our table was dirty, but taken care of when addressed. The good was good as usual. Loved the view from the restaurant. Fun margarita drink.By Cynthia Hoeft (a year ago)

- Reviews:I’m spending the day with Dr at Newport and we made a reservation to this small place very cozy’ place , very chill. The food is fantastic!!! Very tasty We enjoyed a nice dinner We ordered a lot of different appetizers and dishes and the everything was soooo delicious! And their house peanuts sauce was so tasty I don’t remember names for everything we ordered cause we ordered a lot to share So here are some photos of what we got Highly recommend to eat at this place if you’re visiting Newport.By may golan (2 months ago)Have you ever driven over an hour for a restaurant knowing that the food’s going to be good but then they exceed your expectations? This is that place. My daughter lives in Orange county. I lived in Los Angeles and I picked her up and we went to mint leave Thai expecting good food but in my opinion they go over and beyond making sure you’re satisfied. Thank you so much for a wonderful dinner!By Ani Avanessian (a month ago)The mango sticky rice here is to die for, you have to get it to end your meal. I always get one to go, high suggest you do too. Start out with the shrimp with crunch noodles wrapped around them. The entries I’ve tried are all good, curries, pad tai etc.. The staff is always friendly and attentive, great environment, just blocks from the beach. If you are in town stop here, perfect for before or after the beach.By Max (2 months ago)The server was incredibly attentive. We got the Tom Kha Kai and Noodle Soup, and for the appetizer we got Veggie Fried Dumplings. We finished with the Mango with Sticky Rice. Everything was great. My boyfriend was hesitant because of the lack of pictures, but I’m impressed. You want to eat the food so badly you forget to take pictures!!By Adrienna Bell (6 months ago)Came here with a group of 8 and they were super nice about seating us all! It was really fast to be seated and have our order taken at 6 pm but it got so much busier starting at 7 pm. Good: – Loved the spring rolls! What a tasty dipping sauce they came in and also loved how crunchy they were. Came in 4 rolls. – The pad see ewe was tasty too! Had a lot of flavor in each bite and noodles were nice and chewy. – Thai iced tea was too sweet for my taste buds but it was still yummy Bad: – Panang curry was a bit too watery for me – Crab fried rice didn’t have a lot of flavor. Overall was a good experience but they forgot to bring some stuff out that we wanted and we also had pretty slow service near the end of our meal.By Jenny Xu (10 months ago)

It’s been years since I’ve been here, went with my bestie for lunch, kinda forgot it was Valentine’s Day when we booked the reservation
but enjoyed every minute
The food was so delicious
I even ate the fried rice ????????
Chef Gaston was great!
Benihana is overall a fun way to experience dinner, the food is good but seeing it prepared by a skilled chef is always a fun touch. Though for what you get, the price is way too expensive to be able to justify eating here too often. Even with $30 off for two people, the cost was still about $45 per person.
Decided to eat where you order and not where they cook in front of you. Service was really great and fast. Food didn’t seem as good as when you’re in the other side but was still good once you added some shrimp sauce! Sushi was really good!
It’s a spectacular cooking show to watch. The dishes are cooked for each person who gets to choose their main protein (beef, chicken, tofu, and fish). It’s a 5-course meal with each appetizer being filling and delicious. The chef will cook and “play with your food” as the meal continues.
2 dipping sauces are provided at the start for extra flavor.
1st – Soup, flavorful and light!
2nd – Salad, comes with carrots, onions, and lettuce. Tangy Thousand Island-style dressing.
3rd – Vegetables, grilled zucchini, mushrooms, and onions.
4th – Shrimp, grilled with pepper.
5th – Choice of Rice or upgrade to Chicken Fried Rice.
6th – Main Course
7th – Ice cream or Sorbet (Green Tea, Vanilla, Chocolate, or sorbet).
I would highly recommend upgrading to Chicken Fried Rice. It’s fresh grilled chopped chicken breast with Egg.
If it’s your first time in the area or your first time trying Hibachi-style grilling I would highly recommend it.
Our waiter was funny and quick with his chopping skills. Each meat was grilled to the correct temperature and seasoned well.
My girlfriend and myself ate dinner here and shared a table with a family of four. We had a very good time and the chef was very kind and entertaining while cooking. I really enjoyed the food and thought the quality was up to par for the price. I would come back here and really do recommend getting the shrimp and the lobster.
