I went back and searched and found Genzel Plumbing with a 5 star rating and with 584 reviews. That is amazing. When I called, the lady on the phone was very friendly and professional. She was able to get someone out to my house for a leaky faucet within a few hours. Brody arrived to my house and was extremely professional and courteous! and the price was also very reasonable! I cant say enough about how impressed I was with Genzel Plumbing. There is a reason why they are rated 5 start with so many reviews. We had a hot water heater leak and our usual plumber bailed on the call 3 times in 18 hours. I called Genzel at a recommendation from a neighbor and they immediately dispatched the guys out to our house. They worked super hard to find the best solution for our situation. They were so accommodating in making their schedule work with the electrician’s schedule and got us up and running quickly. Brandon even went out of his way to drive 45 minutes away to get a part so I would not have to wait 3 days for the delivery. They were so courteous and friendly too. Genzel employee, Brody, installed two new water heaters for us on Nov 17th and did a fabulous job. One of our water heaters went out on Tuesday morning and the company came out and had a quote by that afternoon. They could have installed it Wednesday, but we had something that didn’t allow us to be home that day. So on Thursday, Brody came at the promised time, and worked to install two new heaters since both were 15 years old. He was meticulous, professional, very clean cut, and I was amazed with everything he did and how clean everything was when he was finished. You can tell he was brought up by good parents. He took his time to make sure everything was perfect. Genzel now has a customer for life. We called Strittmatter on a Tuesday morning and they sent Dustin to our home within an hour. It turned out to be a contamination issue caused by recharging the propane lines. Dustin was able to diagnose and fix the problem without replacing costly components. When my son got home last night noticed that our water heater is leaking and has loud sound. I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing set up an emergency appointment at 10:30pm Jason Holder was assigned to come over and he told me would be at my house @1:00am. But he NEVER shows up!!! We waited for him almost 3 hours until 2:00 at morning. NO CALL NO SHOW! This is the worst service experience I ever had. Now they left us to worry the unfixed leaking issue which I could call another company instead earlier. Totally wasted our time! If the issue gets really bad. I think Benjamin Franklin plumbing should take responsibility of it. Because they wasted the time that should already been fixed before damage more.
To add on:
This morning around 8:00, I called Benjamin again to reach out a manager. The operations manager Chris answered the phone. He sincerely apologized to me and offered a solution. I understand that this kind of thing happens all the time in the service industry. The main thing is how the company handles it. So far, Benjamin’s handling is acceptable. We agreed to temporarily fix the water heater and today they will have someone come back install a new one. I think in the future, I will still use Benjamin because I can feel that from their operators to the manager, they care about their customers!
Benjamin Franklin is a wonderful plumbing company that is very honest and trustworthy. Timothy was my plumbing technician and he is absolutely fantastic! He is very meticulous about his work and truly cares about the satisfaction of his customers. I can’t say enough great things about the company and Timothy.
Benjamin Franklin Plumber did a fantastic repair job. We had a hot water issue in our master bathroom. Our technician, Jack (great plumber!) diagnosed the problem and fixed. Prior to Jack coming, setting an appointment was easy, along with we receiving notification on who the plumber was, along with seeing his ETA before he came. We have used them with prior plumbing issues and have not had issues. What’s great about them is the warranty of service. Definitely will use with any future plumbing issues!
We had Benjamin Franklin install two water heaters 5 years ago. Installation was well done and they left the area clean. We have had their techs come out every year since to do maintenance (included in installation price.) The water heaters have never had any issues. Their techs are always punctual, polite, and knowledgeable. Never pushy, they talk to us openly about what would and wouldn’t benefit our hot water system. Most recently Tim Forde gave good advice on dealing with hard water buildup. We see no reason to go anywhere else for our plumbing needs.
We’ve used Ben Franklin 3 times now and we are very happy with their service. This last visit Joseph Ramon came out. He was great. He is the kind of young, polite, respectful, and talented person you want to let in your home. This was warranty work that was done without question or hesitation.
