  1. This is the single most efficient, “easy breezy” (for lack of a better phrase) dentist office I’ve been in the care of. The staff is always pleasant and meticulous, with open communication both in person and electronically. I’ve had two visits thus far, months apart, and Dr. Shirley has been consistent and works incredibly quickly, and not at the detriment of your care. I also love that they play your choice of music during the appointment to add an extra layer of comfort.

    The office space is quaint and clean. Covid protocols are excellent for those still cautious about appearing in person for appointments – rest assured that all staff including Dr. Shirley are masked, and temperatures are taken upon entry.

  2. I have been a patient at Upper West Side Dental for four years, and have nothing but positive things to say! Dr. Shirley is attentive, very knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything in clear terms. The front desk staff is excellent and provide clear information and updates for appointments, scheduling, and billing. I appreciate the quality care that the UWS Dental team provides.

  3. Had a pleasant visit at Upper West Side Dental clinic. Dr Shirley was very through in my check up and really spent time explaining technical info I wasn’t sure of. Appointment was very easy to made, no long wait time. Staffs are super nice.

  4. I can’t rate them a 10+ because this rating system only allows 5 stars. My daughter needed to see a dentist immediately. Wisdom tooth was in extreme pain. She was fit in for an appointment for the same day!!! The office manager Ana went above and beyond to provide exceptional service while booking the consultation, to giving step by step instructions as to what the process was. Then assisting in helping me to set up an appointment with an oral surgeon. Dr. Benjamin Shirley was AMAZING!! He was so thorough and explained everything to my daughter. I will and have recommended this office to my friends and family. Thank you

    I recently visited this dentist for a consultation and dental cleaning. While the service was satisfactory, I was extremely disappointed to receive a notice from my insurance company indicating that they had been charged an exorbitant amount ($980) for the cleaning. When I asked about the cost at the time of my visit, I was told that it would be covered by my insurance and that I would not owe anything out of pocket. However, I was not given any indication of the actual cost of the service. As a patient, I believe it is important to have transparency around the cost of medical services, including dental care. I was not provided with an estimate of the cost of the procedure, which is required by law in New York. This lack of transparency has now affected my insurance coverage for other needed dental services as I cannot use my coverage to get a root canal I needed. While I appreciate the service provided by this dentist, I strongly encourage them to provide patients with more information around the cost of procedures in the future. This would help patients to make informed decisions about their healthcare and avoid surprises down the line. Needless to say, I will not be coming back in the future.

    Two things I don’t do: give Google reviews, and go to the dentist. Had an awful severe toothache, called and made an appointment immediately for same day, and when k got there the doctor told me I needed my wisdom teeth removed. Not even an hour later I was gone with two less teeth than I came in with and even asked how to schedule a cleaning/initial consultation because this place made me want to come back to the dentist. Can’t express enough how great of an experience I had here today!

    Best! I came in with a doozy. Dr. Isaac Datikashvili handled it quickly and painlessly. Highly recommend and he is open 7 days!

    I had an accident and received stitches in my lip and chin and broke part of my tooth off. I called Emergency Dentist NYC at 4pm and was in the dental chair an hour later with Dr. Jennifer Reyes and her assistant Benjamin. A couple hours after that, my tooth looked as good as new. They did a wonderful job and were so careful about working around my stitches. They even stayed late to work on my tooth. I don’t have dental insurance and, while it wasn’t cheap, I honestly felt that it was not a bad price to pay to have a normal smile again. I am so, so grateful and would definitely recommend!

    I don’t know where to start, I came here for a treatment (Tooth extraction) I had excruciating pain and when I came here I was in and out in no time. Dr. Harvard lol (Can’t remember his name but that’s where he graduated from..He was welcoming and made sure I was set and comfortable, the service was amazing and I wanna thank everyone from the assistants to the receptionist.

    Cannot express how truly incredible my experience was with Onsite Dental. ShayJ in your front office went above and beyond to accommodate my needs from scheduling, to billing – she really made the experience wonderful. Vivian who did my cleaning – changed my view on dental hygienists. I have suffer from severe anxiety and Vivian was so patient with me. She explained the entire process and walked me through each step of the way. Im actually looking forward to coming back to the dentist (words i would have never said in the past)
