- Reviews:A hidden gem! Just such a beautiful and thoughtful experience on so many levels. We came to celebrate my birthday and I felt special the entire time there. We were seated in the back on a couch for two and it could not have been more appropriate for us as we tend to sit next to other when we go out to eat, even if it is just the two of us. Every serving was beautiful, delicious, and multifaceted. Cocktails were delightful. The dishes were explained thoughtfully and the staff were attentive and incredibly friendly. The risotto and gnocchi were our favorite as well as the white bean soup. We will be back!!By John Dawn (5 months ago)Marmalade provided an excellent 13-course chef’s tasting menu for our large party of 9. They also accommodated for two dietary restrictions and our experience was amazing! Everyone enjoyed each course which was strategically paired with a wine. Their service complimented the food well. The ambience was upscale and traditional with ample room. Marmalade’s food was definitely worth the price, well made and tasting. I highly recommend visiting if in San Juan.By Tilak Kalaria (11 months ago)Been to about a dozen fine dining. This is the best! Great food, excellent service, best I have seen! It is a 5 course menu but you pick the course from a list so not a set course. My wife did not enjoy her dessert they waive the dessert and gave us a new one free. I can not say more you have to try it by yourself. Make sure revered your table ahead of time, it is a quiet and comfy place great for date night or business celebration. I would come back again! 5 course menu is $135+tax at 2023 Apr which I think is a very fair price!By Kevin C (a month ago)This was the best meal that we have ever eaten. The white bean soup was the best tasting soup that I have ever had. The portions were very generous and we found ourselves struggling to find room in our stomachs to finish the main course and dessert. The wine pairing complemented each course very nicely. We will definitely make sure to return on our next visit to San Juan.By Kyle Griffin (12 months ago)Excellent food and a great experience! Our waiter Hector was awesome and took very good care of. We did the 14 course tasting menu and we were not disappointed. Not a single bad dish! The white bean and truffle soup I could eat every single day! This is a must try!By Garrett Vergili (10 months ago)

- Reviews:Be sure to make a reservation because the seats are limited and the flamenco performance is very popular! We’re very lucky to be the last group of that night to be seated outsider of the performance hall but still able to enjoy the show through the window. Pretty much all the dishes except the mahi mahi (which is a bit overcooked or I just don’t like the texture) are pretty delicious!By gammeelovemusic (a year ago)This was an excellent choice for us to stop and grab a quick bite. The selection and prices were very good. Unfortunately, we forgot our credit card on the ship, so we only had enough cash to get a couple appetizers. But, they were large portions and very delicious. We ordered the fish bites and calamari. The staff was friendly and attentive. It is a nice large space that also has a stage for performers.By Jordan Luhmann (2 months ago)Very beautiful venue, with a very traditional feel. There was a stage for what I assume is live flamenco, though I ate there too early to see a show. After seating and enquiring if I should seat myself, and told it’s ok to sit, it took a while to be approached or asked for drinks or brought a menu. Eventually a gentleman named Carlos brought menus and he was very polite and friendly, albeit new. I have no issue with Carlos’ service he made good conversation and recommendations, though the Octopus that I ordered unfortunately was not available. The food itself was tasty and I enjoyed each course. The rack of lamb whilst I asked for Medium-Rare came blue. I ate the lamb though it wasn’t as I asked, I enjoyed the taste. Had I asked for it to be super rare I’m sure I would have been over the moon. I washed the meal down with Sangria and a mojito to go with my churros. All in all, not the worst experience but could have been much better.By Ben Youngman (5 months ago)Went to this restaurant with friends and enjoyed the octopus very much, one of the most tender and flavorful octopus dish I’ve had. John Carlos was our Walter and did an excellent job! The grouper deep fried balls were also very good. They also have a Flamenco show in the larger room which can also be seen and heard depending on which table you sit at. We recommend this restaurant and will be going back when we are in Old San Juan again.By John Nazario (2 months ago)Prior reservation is mandatory. We were still able to get a place even after calling them on the same day. I believe minimum order per table is $50 but its well worth to spend any amount as the food is delicious and most importantly the Show was priceless, such an amazing experience. You sure will have a good time even if you do not understand Spanish. ¡Olé!By Maddy Aks (a year ago)

The chicken was dry and a little burnt. Had to send it back. I don’t like doing that but for the price they charge I sure did. A little too pricey for mediocre tasting food. The pork chop was greasy and filled with fat. The rice was good but I could get that at any given diner. Nothing special.. I do not recommend this place…
Beautiful night at Princesa. We started with the soup which was delicious. Each of us tried a different entree and paired it with a cocktail. The Piña Colada was strong, but I did not complain! The food was very well presented and all the flavors paired deliciously. It was a gastronomical experience! The musician also made the atmosphere very lively. The vibes, food, and service earns Princesa a 5/5.
Lovely restaurant. We chose to sit outside under the big banyan tree and we got to experience true Puerto Rico. There was music playing outside while we are our food. Husband ordered the Lamb Pinon which was something unique-lamb wrapped in cheese. Delicious and strangely not very heavy. I ordered the Ropa Vieja and it is one of the best lamb dishes I have eaten. My mother ordered the codfish with chickpea stew and it was such a unique combination and so flavorful. Sister ordered a white bean salad which honestly needed more flavoring. Very enjoyable drinks too. All in all a good place to dine and visit
This was one of my favorite places. I’ve had fantastic food before. This time was not as exciting. But it’s still a very cool place. With music nightly. And the best desserts, ever. And they were very good about my food restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free). Definitely make a reservation.
This is a real gem. Food is well made using lots of hyper local ingredients. They have an outstanding cocktail list and the service was welcoming, informative, and cheerful. I would come back and recommend this place to anyone. 10/10.
