2 weeks agoThe good. Staff was friendly. Evening reception was great snacks and drinks like normal. Breakfast in the morning was great. They kept bringing out fresh food, and the guys making omelets were moving people through quickly. Also good location. The bad. Room always had a damp feeling to it with a slight musty smell. Our air conditioner work just fine, but we could never get the damp feeling out of the room. Room decor is dated and could use an update. For the most part the room was clean but if you looked around windows and in corners you could tell it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. Pool had a strong chlorine Aroma that after 10 minutes would make your eyes burn and your lungs and chest felt tight. The next couple days after leaving this hotel our whole family had some slight respiratory irritation. Not sure if it was from the dampness in the room or the chlorine at the pool. When you have little kids it’s hard to keep them away from the pool.4 weeks agoWe stayed 2 nights. Their are pros and cons. Pros. Happy hour with the 2 free alcohol vouchers is pretty cool and the guy working the bar was super nice. Cons. Room was dusty in areas. We also reserved for king size but the beds we stayed in were way smaller. The pool area could use a remodel. There’s no hot tub which that’s a super bummer. Plus the pool was super cold. Could also use way less chlorine.2 weeks agoStayed here early in May 2023 and my kid can’t stop talking about it. The rooms were great and clean. Suite was nicely separated.The breakfast 10 out of 5 stars. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have had.

a month agoLove the location of this for concerts and other events at the excel center. They have an excellent free breakfast and 1 free drink during happy hour. The room we usually book is divided 2 beds on one side and a pull out couch and table on other half. It’s nice to have divided room if people want to sleep and others stay on other side. There is also a sink near the table and nice counter space which comes in handy with a full room of people. Also, both side of the room had large mirrors.a month agoHi- upon arrival our room smelt like smoke and mold. When I approached the desk about it they told me someone had to come spray the room before they can consider any other solutions. The men came in the room and began spraying without any warning. The men didn’t speak English so we could not communicate. We left the room assuming that’s what we needed to do. The spray did not help much and then when asked to move they had nothing else to offer on the first floor or rooms next to each other. As a big family we had multiple kids staying in the room next to us and they could not accommodate this. We decided to suffer and stay In that room spending minimal time there. Next we noticed our towels had several stains. We requested new towels which took more than an hour to receive. When in the shower we noticed ants in the bathroom and mold all throughout the bathtub and shower. We moved on disgusted and ready for bed when we noticed stains on our pillows and sheets as well as stray hairs when we pulled the covers back. When requesting housekeeping they told me I had to request it 24 hours in advance. I asked even given all of these disgusting findings you cannot accommodate? And they said they would do what they can. Then again they show up without knocking and just start spraying another chemical without warning and difficulty communicating due to language barrier. The next morning we found hair in our breakfast buffet food while getting it out of the buffet tray. We ate elsewhere and spent the day away. Upon arriving back to our room we found a beetle/roach ( not sure which but it was big) in our room. We covered it and took care of it. Then again another found near our couch we we were checking out. The people at the front desk were never helpful and only say “ oh sorry”. Will not stay again.

2 months agoHad a remarkable stay here at this hotel. The airport Shuttle is very prompt and Check-in was as easy as pie. Upon my first night in the Minneapolis area and its wonderful nightlife, I was still greeted by the friendly front desk staff despite it being 2 a.m., notwithstanding of the state of my habiliments after a workout, the benevolent concierge and their variety of nutriments were also what a hedonist would call decadence. From thereon, I knew I could count on their delicacies when in a pinch and surely enough, they were who I looked for following nights cavorting with the glitterati. Nonetheless this establishment was great, cleanly, and accommodating in more ways than one and I’d stay here again. Great Hotel!a month agoThis is a very nice hotel to stay in. It is beautiful and situated in a very nice area in Minnesota called Bloomington. The rooms are very neat and beds are well made. The food is great and you can have a complimentary meal depending on your situation. The gym is also great to use. Although, we could not swim in the pool becuase it was faulty during the time of our stay. Prices are affordable and there are so many nearby great places to visit. Mall of America is about 10 minutes away. Red Lobster is very close by, about 3 minutes walk. Overall, a great place to take your family to and relax. Thank you for your service!!! ???? ❤️2 weeks agoI stayed at a Home2suites a while back and it was a great experience. When booking my hotel for my recent trip I happily chose them again. Another great stay and I will definitely book with them when given the chance. Our room was super clean and the staff at the front desk were great. They gave us a bunch of suggestions for dinner and things to do between our obligations here. With all the hotels and Airbnbs in the area I strongly recommend this hotel. It’s located around shopping, food stores and restaurants so you can’t go wrong.3 weeks agoWe needed a place to stay with our cat while work was being done in our house. Apparently the Hilton brand is the only pet friendly brand that allows cats, so that wins my business! The room was clean and spacious, complimentary breakfast had many options and all staff were friendly and helpful.2 months agoOther than an uncomfortable bed that was very soft and offered no support, this hotel was fantastic. Location was great, parking was convenient, staff were all very friendly, the room was clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a great experience. Some of my coworkers complained about this hotel, but I loved it. It has a respectable gym and all the accommodations you’d expect from a nice hotel. I enjoyed my meal at the restaurant. Your staff was courteous and prompt as well as knowledgeable of the area. I enjoyed my stay immensely.
From the shuttle drivers, to the Front Desk and F&B Service, all departments provide impeccable service. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our evening cocktails while chatting with the bartenders in the AiRECraft Grill (the food is good too). I also looked forward to my Caribou Coffee from the lobby kiosk each morning. If you are looking for a place that treats you like long time regulars from day one, this is the place. This is now our first choice when we travel to visit family in St Paul.
Nice hotel, unfortunately they don’t offer breakfast for most of their guests. Olso they don’t have free coffee for guests in the lobby, like many hotels have. We had a coffee machine in our room, but it didn’t work.
Room was nice and clean, hotel lobby is very pleasant, personal was friendly.
ZERO STARS! Stay ANYWHERE else!! After a month of waiting for a refund, I finally had to go off on IHG.
My experience with the hotel was so bad, I’m done with IGH as a whole. The manager, Rex or whatever his name is, is a liar and useless. No wonder he no longer works there. The rest of the staff are rude and far from knowledgeable A pile of dirty towels and sheets sat outside my door from check in to check out. I had to step over it to enter and exit my room. My 10yo makes a bed better than their housekeeper, who also left hair all over my pillows and made the bed with a dirty comforter. Take my advice: ABORT MISSION!! YOU’RE BETTER OFF AT MOTEL 6 OR THE STREETS because at least you won’t have wasted your money!
Rooms are not updated . My bathroom door does not lock. Mosquito in the room 324. Definitely someone before me did smoke in the room.
Receptionist was very friendly and handled / answered all my questions. I am a platinum elite with IHG but did not like this hotel.
There is a restaurant downstairs has a good look but the waiters who handled my table was very zoned out and showed her frustration on us..
