a week agoLoved our visit and experience. We have never stayed at a BnB before, so having a personalized experience was new to us. The house is super adorable. The best moment we had was hanging out on the balcony reading our books while a storm rolled in. So peaceful and quiet.5 months agoI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at 303. Kim was very hospitable, responsive, and personable. The location is very close to downtown yet in a quiet and safe place. My room had a great booklet for local recommendations and instructions for the room. The room was so comfy and well put together – I slept well! I was staying in the larger navy room. Each room is color themed! Unfortunately, I was only staying the night solo but I enjoyed each minute.
Breakfast was two eggs benedict with fruit served downstairs at 8am with coffee, yogurt, and cereal options. I had a lovely conversation with the owner and other guests during breakfast.
There are also laundry, gym, common/recreational spaces available that I didn’t take full advantage of during my short stay.
I wish the owners the best and hope their BnB does well. I would go back if I was staying in Flagstaff!
a month agoJust a lovely place! Very clean and comfortable. The hostess makes sure guests have what they need to be comfortable. Wine and cheese in the evening is a nice touch. Breakfast sure beats any standard hotel offerings! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.5 months agoMy wife and I enjoyed our stay so much we have decided to sell our house and move in with Kim! If you are looking for amazing breakfast and sip complimentary wine in the evening look no further. Extremely clean rooms and plenty to keep you busy. Definitely a hidden gem and we will be back! If I could give more stars I would!4 months agoWe stayed in this beautifully appointed B&B twice in April 2023 & will return again! We have stayed in B&Bs in many countries and this one rivals others with it’s well equipped guest rooms, access to kitchen facilities, guest laundry, gym, games room, decks to sit out on and incredible breakfasts! Kim, the owner, very kindly went above & beyond & drove us to the train at 4:00 am!

2 months agoEasy walk to downtown.Beautiful garden with many places for relaxation. Fantastic host.6 years agoWhat a fabulous home! It was the perfect place to host a group of friends for my husband’s 50th birthday – 5 bedrooms and plenty of space in the common areas for relaxing and celebrating, plus an easy walk to downtown Flagstaff. We loved the vibe – rustic with lots of modern upgrades and all sorts of cool things to see and play with (like super addictive pinball machines!) Awesome backyard with several seating areas and a fire pit – it will be gorgeous in the summer! Plus (a big plus), the owners are great and very responsive – they clearly love sharing their place so that others can enjoy it. We look forward to staying here again soon!3 years agoMy family and I had the privilege of staying in the Babbitt House over the holiday weekend and we couldn’t have been more pleased/grateful/blessed with the experience we had. The owners of this home have managed to captivate all the history within the home while adding state of the art and high class features that made our stay feel like a true vacation. When you walk into this home it’s clear to see that the owners put a lot of TLC into this home while keeping it modern, historic, and homey. With our family of 9, the house was still very roomy and provided enough space for all of us to be SUPER comfortable. The hosts were more than gracious when it came to making this home truly feel like our own and accommodating all of our needs (and with 9, there’s a lot). As we took this trip during the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to escape the climate in our hometowns and relax; what we were greeted with was more than soothing. The home was cleaned immediately before our stay and we had no stresses about staying in such a cleanly and well-organized home. We had the opportunity to speak with the hosts when we arrived and they were truly one of a kind. It’s so clear that they are passionate about the home, people, and all things wonderful. Not only did we gain a great new family memory in the Babbitt House but lifelong friends with the amazing owner and hosts of the Babbitt House who we will surely reach out to in the future whenever we are in Flagstaff.6 years agoThe Babbitt House couldn’t have been a better location for a much-needed rest during my 3-day visit (Aug 30-Sept 1, 2016), felt immediately upon arrival. Beautiful landscaping out front. Interior decor is modern & retro at the same time; lots of cool spaces to hang out & things to see. The bedrooms are great too; hard to decide which ones to choose. And then the back yard is an oasis and a refuge; neat plants, meandering pathways, great sitting areas, & fun lighting at night. Bathrooms were spotless. No complaints.2 years agoComforting glam awaits you at every step! I feel so pampered in the amazing beds! Heated Toto toilet. Astounding “death star” Schoenbeck chandelier in the morning room, charm, charm, charm and glam galore! Walk to downtown, partake on the local foods and flavors. Take a stroll the other way, up the hill and see se of the most charming homes! I absolutely loved my too short stay here. I can’t wait to come back!

Wow, this place is amazing! This is by far the best service I have ever experienced at any place I’ve stayed, and the room was clean, wonderfully appointed, and comfortable. We were welcomed with freshly baked cookies (gluten free for my husband!), provided with numerous dining recommendations, and shown around. The room was so comfortable that my husband and I opted to stay in all evening and have a romantic dinner at the table in our room with the fresh flowers that were in our “Lilly” room. My favorite part about the stay was the early morning room service of coffee and pastries that preceded breakfast, but breakfast was astounding in its own right! Custom souffles to meet our dietary restrictions, parfaits, and copious amounts of coffee were promptly served as we chatted with other guests. Max was an exceptional host and it would be a tragedy if you didn’t stay here while visiting Flagstaff.
Starlight Pines was one of the greatest B&B experiences that my husband and I have experienced in 30 years! It is impossible to believe how large and accommoding the room was for us. The bed was a wonderful sleep. There is a large sitting room on the first floor that is so inviting it was dreamlike. There were books everywhere! The small attention to details and decor in every aspect made it a delight. We got to spend some time on the veranda on the swinging bench in the cool evening and that was awesome! And the breakfast… which is something we often skip because we’re picky about having good breakfasts… was absolutely amazing. Thank you Maxx and Monica for a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to go back for another awesome stay in Flagstaff!
Prepare to feel totally pampered when staying here. The rooms are delightful and have wonderful ambiance, one with a wood-burning fireplace and another with an electric fireplace. The beds are very comfortable and have the most luxuriously soft sheets. The rooms have the quaintness of olden times, with a claw foot bathtub and Tiffany lamps, but with all the modern amenities. The breakfasts are delicious and there are always freshly baked cookies and chocolate candies available to satisfy your sweet tooth. Max and Monica are great hosts and make everyone feel at home and truly spoiled.
The place is clean and conveniently located. Breakfast definitely hit the spot! The rooms are very tasteful and memorable- we stayed in the dragonfly room My main recommendation for the host is to be cautious of his talkativeness, be less chatty. Left a mixed experience for us. Not every guest wants to have a conversation with the B&B host extensively, or at length at every breakfast. We enjoyed talking to you, but please be conscious of this with guests to create space for them to enjoy morning solitude or just talk to the person they’re staying with, or other gets they’re trying to get to know. Keep the conversations short please 🙂 Nonetheless a gem in Flagstaff!
We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Starlight Pines! The owners were so friendly and accommodating, had great suggestions for local things to do, and prepared delicious breakfasts for us. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had all of the amenities we could have wished for. It even had a shaded balcony which was great for relaxing and taking in the view. The common area downstairs was very cosy and great to sit and read in. We had to leave very early in the morning on our last day, so Maxx very thoughtfully prepared a delicious breakfast to go for us. We will definitely stay here if we are ever in Flagstaff again!
