We recommend booking with these amazing hosts if you need water, power, or Wi-Fi. Thank you for your hospitality!2 years agoTyphu Homes provided a great hosting experience. They made sure the house was ready for me when I arrived and was available whenever I had any questions. It felt like a home away from home. The house was clean, has comfortable queen size beds, and equipped with clean towels, shampoo and conditioner. The location of the house was perfect as it only 10 minutes from Fort Myer, and another 10 minutes to downtown Cape Coral. They also offer a car rental service which I used for a few days – it’s nice not having to worry about paying for gas with the Tesla since I can just charge it at night. Highly recommended and will make another reservation next time I visit.

a month agoThis place is amazing. Our host Ty was the best. The beds in all rooms are amazingly comfortable. I would however prefer only a king bed in master bedroom. I loved the Pool and boat dock fishing. I would recommend.4 months agoWonderful little house with amazing backyard! Lots of things for the kids to do! I give this place a 10 out of 10 for cleanliness. The beds are really comfortable too! The kitchen had most everything we needed but it was the bare minimum as far as pots and pans. Nevertheless, I would stay again and recommend it to anyone. The owners are very nice and respond promptly to any questions.3 months agoThis place is an absolute gem for a family getaway. The pool was fantastic, with a delightful warmth that made it even more inviting. The backyard is truly stunning, boasting picturesque beauty. It offers an impressive array of amenities suitable for all age groups, ensuring everyone’s needs are met. A truly wonderful experience. From the comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated room to the fantastic breakfast, a stay at the Hibiscus House is a memorable experience.
Bob, the owner, is a wonderful storyteller and sits with the guests after breakfast, when his schedule allows.
Sheila, the onsite innkeeper and Debbie, the chef extraordinaire, are both welcome assets.
We brought family along with us and all were happy with the accommodations. This place does not disappoint.
Charming bed and breakfast with a comfortable room and warm atmosphere. It’s a really, really old house who’s rooms have been updated. I was not a fan of bed and breakfast type places until I stayed here. Perhaps you can’t judge this book by its cover either because the outside could use some updating but this inside was nicely kept… the shower and bathroom were so clean I thought I was the first guest after a remodel. The inn keeper and owner were refreshingly kind.
Wow! I read the reviews from prior stays at The Hibiscus House, and it led me to choose it for my three night stay. I was very impressed, and so delighted with my stay! Our host was one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met! She’s very attentive, thoughtful, and an all around great person! Our room was comfortable, the bathroom large, and the night’s sleep amazing! You can feel the comfort level and the assurance of being cared for. The breakfast was amazing! I only got to enjoy it on my last morning because my husband was playing on a golf tournament and we had to get up very early to get to the course. I’m so glad we got to enjoy breakfast that last Sunday morning! The attention given to the preparation of our breakfast was superb! Great presentation and attention to detail and quality! It was amazing! I will be staying at the Hibiscus House whenever I return for a stay at Fort Meyers!
The Hibiscus House is a lovely place to stay. We were looking to have an event there but our plans changed so we just spent one night there instead. The owner was very accommodating and flexible even with all the changes. For an older historic home, the inn was very clean and nicely renovated. It was quiet and cozy, and the home cooked breakfast in the morning was a great finishing touch. The location is perfect for the downtown area. We will absolutely be back!
We left today this beautiful house and we are sure that we’ll return. It’s my first experience (B&B) and I’m very happy that I booked Hibiscus House B&B Fort Myers, Florida.
This property is sparkling clean, everywhere! We loved the house’s furniture, decoration, comfort in our room and the delicious breakfast. The location is just 5 or 7 minutes walking to the amazing museum Edison&Ford Estate.
I strongly recommend this place to everyone.
