How to Find an Airbnb Near You That’s Perfect for Your Needs
There are many ways to find an Airbnb near you in US cities. Here are a few of the best ways:
- Use the Airbnb website or app. This is the most obvious way to find an Airbnb, and it’s also the easiest. Simply enter your desired location and dates, and you’ll be presented with a list of available Airbnbs. You can filter the results by price, number of bedrooms, amenities, and other factors.
- Use a third-party website or app. There are a number of third-party websites and apps that list Airbnbs. These websites can be a good way to find Airbnbs that aren’t listed on the Airbnb website, or to compare prices from different sources. Some popular third-party websites and apps include:
- VRBO: Vacation Rental By Owner
- HomeAway: HomeAway
- Booking.com: Booking.com
- Expedia: Expedia
- Ask your friends or family. If you know someone who has stayed in an Airbnb, they may be able to recommend a good one for you. They may also be able to give you some insider tips on how to get the best deal.
- Search social media. There are a number of social media groups and forums where people post about their Airbnb experiences. These can be a good way to get honest feedback from other travelers.
- Attend a local travel fair. Many cities host travel fairs where you can meet with Airbnb hosts and learn more about their properties. This can be a great way to find an Airbnb that’s perfect for your needs.
Once you’ve found a few Airbnbs that you’re interested in, be sure to read the reviews carefully. This will give you a good idea of what other guests have experienced. You should also contact the host with any questions you have.

Here are some additional tips for finding an Airbnb near you in US cities:
- Be flexible with your dates. If you’re flexible with your travel dates, you’ll be more likely to find a good deal on an Airbnb.
- Book well in advance. The best Airbnbs tend to book up quickly, so it’s important to book well in advance.
- Consider the location. The location of the Airbnb is important, especially if you’re traveling for business or a special event. Be sure to choose an Airbnb that’s close to the things you want to see and do.
- Be aware of the cancellation policy. Each Airbnb has its own cancellation policy, so be sure to read it carefully before you book.

5 years agoWe stayed at The Lift Bridge Loft for our wedding weekend. The space itself was gorgeous and made a perfect backdrop for pictures. The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was super comfortable.
Reasons I didn’t give this space five stars: -No reserved parking. We kept our car in the same spot all weekend and walked everywhere, so it wasn’t a huge problem. However, if we had to drive or leave the downtown area during peak hours, it would be total pain. -The space could be a little cleaner. -The TV only has a DVD player hooked up to it, and we weren’t aware of this prior to arriving. It would have been nice to plan ahead and bring a few movies to watch at night. They don’t have cable, netflix, etc.
2 years agoAmazing view, amenities and plenty of things to do everywhere surrounding this great downtown loft. Was going to rate it 6/5 but apparently that’s not allowed.4 years agoGets me where I need to go5 years agoGorgeous!!!3 years ago

10 months agoThis was a great place to stay in St. Paul for a weekend. Quiet neighborhood, close to pretty much everywhere we wanted to go, enough space for a family of four, great communication with host. We used the provided pack n’ play for our one-year-old, but would have loved a door or a gate to block off the steep stairs as he was always trying to get to them!a year agoThe loft was cute and clean and as described. The floors are a bit squeaky and the stairs are steep. It worked for my husband and two adult sons. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and we were able to park off the street. We would stay again.a year agoWhat a great, comfortable and immaculate home. We traveled to St. Paul to visit our daughter, a college student. Having a home with a kitchen was wonderful to make some homemade meals – the home had everything you could possibly need. Great location – we explored and found live music outside, great restaurants, wonderful bakery and brewery. Communicating with Austin, the owner, was seamless and made our checking super easy. Would definitely stay there again!!a year agoSpacious, clean, tastefully decorated.I appreciated that coffee that was provided. Everything new. Convenient location to West 7th, downtown, freeways. Only downside was radiators didn’t seem to be working at their best, so it was a bit chilly during my stay. I would stay here again.a year agoMy crew of 3 were very surprised by how modern, stylish, and large the space was for what we paid for.I have nothing negative to say here. If it’s available, I would ALWAYS rent this space for my travels to Minneapolis.
The only thing I can think of is having a TV during the winter months in case guests decide to have a chill night in and play games?

I love my stay here for a month. I work travel and this was the first hotel my company book. I loved staying here. The staff is awesome from the nice housekeepers to friendly front desk staff and the sweet breakfast preparers. I recently attempted to rebook but the prices had increased beyond my company’s hotel allowance. 5 ???????????????????? for Residence Woodbury
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend away. The room was clean and very nice. We loved having a kitchenette to cook in and be able to save dunge money eating in our room. They do have a nice continental breakfast here as well. The pool and soda area were also clean and looked to be accessible for people with mobility issues. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
Nothing but good things to say about this Residence Inn. The front desk was quick to reply to in-app chat and upgraded me to a suite because of my status. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and quickly checked in.
Rooms are standard for a newish Residence Inn. Everything was spotless and functional. The ceilings are a bit thin as I heard someone stomp around for awhile, but I think this was more related to just how loud the individual was rather than how thin the ceilings are.
Breakfast was slightly above average–eggs, yogurt, fruit, etc. Didn’t use any of the other facilities like the gym or pool. Location is convenient to the highway.
Stayed here for about three weeks in June. Staff was friendly, but a few of the staff members need training. Example – asked if they had more than one washer and dryer for guest usage and the answer was ‘Oh I don’t know that. I don’t have nothin to do with that’. Other staff issue was just plain rudeness when they were unable to answer billing questions.
Speaking of billing – their system is whacked. I had a hold for the first seven days of the stay plus the daily incidentals put on my card when I checked in and then the hold went off my card a few days later. Then the next week there was a hold for $400 on Sunday, a hold for $1700 on Monday, and then a hold for $350+ on Wednesday. The $400 hold dropped off on Thursday and on Friday a firm charge of about $2500 for the first 10 days of my stay posted and the other two holds went away. Same sort of thing happened the next week of my stay. The system can’t decide what and when and how much to charge. Very strange and you just don’t know how much they’re going to take out of your account at any given time. Ultimately the billing was right at the end but the multiple holds were a bit alarming.
My room was facing the courtyard, with a fire pit, grill, sitting area, etc. The first weekend there was a traveling sports group of families staying in the hotel and they all congregated in the courtyard until late the in evening, so lots of noise penetrating my 2nd floor room. The second weekend was a baby shower in the court yard, so again lots of loud, noisy people directly under my window.
The bathroom fans ran 24/7 at a low hum (could not be turned off), but reminded me of white noise so just left it. The light in the kitchen was possessed – dimmed and brightened randomly while turned on. The sleeper sofa was tired and the cushions were literally sinking down into the foundation of the sofa. Bird poop everywhere (outside) due to the gazillion birds nesting under the eaves. The hotel is the middle of a heat sink and the entrance is set-up super strangely.
The new manager was very nice and helpful trying to help me figure out the billing which is unfortunately automated. The cleaning staff picked up the garbage/take out bags and used towels I left outside the room pretty quickly. Plenty of towels as needed. Pool and whirlpool are very nice. Laundry is expensive. Only part of breakfast I had was the coffee which was warm and not particularly memorable. No tea selection other than black tea. Cable sucks. Beds are decent.
All in all not horrible, but not the best.
Fantastic place to stay. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Really appreciated the gluten free and dairy free options at breakfast!
