- Reviews:My dog was in bad shape in his behind area yesterday after some severe diarrhea. It was absolutely tragic. We called around to a half dozen different groomers to see if could get a same day appt, with no success. Then we called Pet Supplies Plus who had an opening at 7 pm. We took him in for a wash and sanitary trim. Decided to go with the spa treatment package (shampoo to help with shedding, nails cut and filed). Picked up our boy 90 minutes later, and he looked fantastic. The whole thing cost only $75. Will definitely be using this place in the future. Very attentive employees. Edit: I recently found out that they offer curbside pickup. I have done 2 orders so far. When you shop online, you can see what’s in stock and what’s not. So no confusion in ordering. My orders were ready fast and they brought everything out to me. This is an amazing service because I’m in a wheelchair and I can’t shop by myself. I’m telling you, they have the nicest employees. I really just want them to be recognized for all they do and their pleasant attitudes. Thank you for providing curbside pick up. I spend a lot of money on my dog and 3 cats. They done them in under 5 minutes ,without a problem. A total surprise to me. I went to Pet Supply Plus on Manchester road in Coventry. Outstanding grooming department and all other employees. She assumed I wanted to cancel the whole thing? I could not have been straight forward. Now I’m out of an order, and have to wait however many days to be refunded my money AND receive the $20 coupon back I just redeemed 4,000 points for. - Reviews:I went in a few times to look for a adoption. We were in 4 times over 2 years. I was going to pick up another rescue but they had puppies and I fell in love. The woman that helped me stayed after her shift to make sure my dog was the right dog for me. Because he was a puppy and a doodle he was more expensive than other dogs. They let me take him but I did have to sign papers that I would take care of him because his litter arrived just a few days prior. He was expensive at first and needed ALOT of vet care. I am so happy with One of a Kind and the staff and my decision to bring home my wild puppy. He is the greatest Thank you One of A Kind for this wonderful addition to our family! And if you have any concerns about your pet afterwards. Good luck getting hold of anybody. They don’t answer their phone and you don’t get a response from an email for 3 days. I would say spend the extra $15 for better aftercare.By boo sano (in the last week)I have always brought my animals here to get spayed or neutered. But when I needed my kittens neutered I was calling for weeks trying to get an appointment. But they never answer the phone. So I found a new low cost place. It’s nothing against how professional and nice this place, that why i gave them 3 stars. If you do surgery on someone’s pet-they should be able to speak with a person if they have concerns with recovery. I don’t like how difficult it is to get ahold of someone when calling the exchange st location. The hours listed on thier google search results are incorrect. I had to contact their other location on market st to arrange a time to deliver donations. That location is open a lot later. What an amazing animal shelter! Within an hour, I walked out with my brand new puppy to foster on my way to adoption. This handsome little guy came with food, a cage, some treats, and toys for the fostering period and if we want to adopt it is only $385. I can’t stress how helpful everyone was and supportive especially to my new wife who is afraid of animals and wants to do her best.
I adopted Ghost about a month ago from One of a Kind Pets. When we were there trying to find a pet, the staff was all knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. And I added a photo of Ghost living her best life. (:
I was fortunate enough to volunteer for a few days. The care that the animals receive is outstanding. Everyone that I met truly treats each animal there as their own. I was only there for 3 days and fell in love with several of them. Their mission to rescue from the Amish puppy mills as well as those on a euthanasia list is really incredible. If you’re looking for a pet, I really do recommend looking there first.
This is an organisation very worthy of your support. One Of A Kind Pet Rescue does important work in an efficient, organised and ethical manner. They put pets first, no matter what. They take back failed adoptions no questions asked, committing completely to vulnerable homeless animals. I have adopted from OOAKPR, and also currently serve as a foster home. I’ve fostered animals for many similar organisations, and OOAKPR never fails to impress me with their solid support of their fosterers and their ability to establish trust both ways. Their volunteers are lovely, and they work so hard – because they not only believe in the cause, they believe in OOAKPR.
It’s such a great place. Please, please, please consider adopting or donating. So many cats; yes, there are kittens plus puppies and dogs that need a loving home.
These are bonded pair (sisters) 7 yrs old. Black white with blue eyes. Need to be in a home with NO CATS or SMALLER ANIMALS, dogs their size is ok. The smaller of the 2 is so depressed and just stuck right beside me and my roommate. The other is listless and stares out the glass for a home. They are both friendly and in need of a home together with lots of love.
