Piercer was placing a far tinier stud than I wanted in before I could even get a look at it. I am not confrontational so I went with it but I am not satisfied. Since when is it protocol to install jewelery the piercer picked without showing it to the customer? But that was not the worst part of my experience here, it was the gentleman at the front desk. He overall seemed to be in a bad mood and he seemed annoyed that there were customers in his store. I even heard him talking on the phone saying he “was gonna have to start closing the shop more often” when three tourist girls came to check the place out. Overall he just had 0 people skills, at least towards women. Do not recommend this place at all. Edit: Take a look at all of the 1 star reviews and notice that we are all complaining about the same unprofessional guy. It was my first tattoo, I walked in to this place because of the great reviews.
Thinking I was getting ink’d as a walk-in, I was appalled to learn the waiting period was 3 months. The employees were very friendly and asked what was i getting done? They also asked if I had picked an artist to do my first tat. the people at the counter were very helpful picking an artist for me based on my needs. When I finally arrived for my appointment they greated me and helped me feel comfortable while the artist presented me with his ideas.
The artist was Miguel Del Cuadro, highly recommend. He worked on me for 5hrs, He made sure that my tattoo, looked good, symmetrical, well done and original by adding my personal details into his work.
After they clean me up, they gave me aftercare steps to follow, to keep my tat from fading in the healing process, I even got 2 phone calls from the staff a week later asking how was I doing.
Truely happy with my tattoo, with the artist and staff. Great work, already thinking of the next one.
Highly recommended from locals. They worked with me on scheduling with an artist last minute as I juggled vacation plans and then delivered with an amazing piece. The artists sketch your inspiration on an tablet and can easily modify the art to your liking. Clean and large space, authentic and well-mannered staff and artists. This was a great experience. I called them right at opening time 9am to see if they do walk ins. They don’t. I explained my situation and even took an Uber to speak in person. I was told to check in a few hrs for cancellations. I emailed Ivan my idea. A few hours later he got back to me. We spoke briefly and he basically was like “get here ASAP I have a spot for you”. I arrived To meet Penelope. She is a young artist and the moment I saw her freestyle work on her ipad I knew She’d be awesome to tat me. The place is wicked clean. The restrooms are gender neutral. The staff is awesome, friendly and professional, no pressure and no rush to decide. A fantastic experience. I had This tattoo done in remembrance of my father ..they coordinates of where he was born. Color conspiracy… keep up the amazing work
I received my FAVORITE tattoo from here a few years ago. Absolutely love it. The tattoo is exactly what I wanted, the staff was super friendly, shop was clean, and super comfortable. 10/10!
Make sure to call in or communicate with the artist before walking in. Dm them on social media. Very handy, they have cards on the door for all the contact info of each artist. Great place so far.
