- Reviews:The stellar reviews left my expectations high and I must say, it delivers! Great location and atmosphere. Really thoughtful cocktail list and menu. The food was excellent. Everything was equally delicious as it was beautiful. Our server, Greg, was knowledgeable, helpful, and a true professional. One of the best servers I’ve had. If you are interested in trying a French restaurant in Detroit, I’d recommend Bar Pigalle. They also have their own parking lot which is a rare treat downtown!By Alex Kallin (5 months ago)A delightful experience to say the least. The atmosphere is small but modern and luxurious. The service was pretty good! Sam was personable and relatable. Evan was very helpful with the menu descriptions. My guest had a couple glasses of white wine and I had them improvise something for me. Both drinks were good. I ordered the 8 oz flat iron steak that was served with mashed potatoes and spinach and my guest ordered the Pigalle burger single. We split a side of hand-cut fries. Only great things to say about all of the food, especially my steak was very tender and well prepared with accessories. We were too full to order dessert but perhaps next time! Definitely intend to return.By David Sayah (in the last week)Butter, fat, and taste meet neo French, fabulously, a la D. Excellent service from friendly staff that should be the standard for any restaurant. Knowledgeable, kind and no pressure service that compliments the dining experience. Food was well prepared and presented. Very Yummy. Price point seems to be $100 per person with 1.5 cocktails. For the quality and taste of the food, mostly reasonable. Plates arrive as the order is prepared, so ordering a variety of items, enjoying conversation between deliveries, and sharing is a must. Definitely a chic space to enjoy a fatty flavor of butter and a Detroit style of French. Fenced parking across the street.By Tomi Saveski (3 months ago)Absolutely amazing dining experience all around. We started off the meal with a recommended bottle of wine from our very knowledgeable, personable, and attentive server, Greg, that was absolutely wonderful! Then chose to take on the chef’s tasting and was absolutely floored by all of the exquisite food. It was five courses and with two guests we got two plates to share for each course and one for dessert. The food was presented beautifully and tasted even better! My personal favorite were the baked scallops and butternut squash filled tortellini in a creamy parmesan sauce. We were absolutely stuffed by the end but still saved room to each try a cocktail and they were wonderfully balanced and flavor packed as well! The experience as a whole was one of the top best dining experiences I have ever had and I will definitely be returning as often as I can.By Miranda Vandenberg (4 months ago)My husband and I tried this spot for the first time and were NOT impressed. Our server was excellent! Very knowledgeable of the menu and personable. The food, however, was not impressive. Everything was “warm” when it came out and the portions were disappointing. We were told the meals were made for sharing. Not so. I understand that the French typically have smaller portions, but this wasn’t enough to be satiated. We won’t go back and I can’t recommend this restaurant unless you are just going for drinks or a PART of a meal. Disappointing!By S.L Moore (5 months ago)

- Reviews:Edit: We came here for the first time in a while. Everything was still delicious, but it was disappointing that their menu was very limited, they didn’t have a la carte and only had a 3-course tasting menu. The portions were not enough so we were not full after finishing our meal. The seats by the windows were too dark. ——— Everything was delicious, we loved especially the cream spaghetti with caviar. I wish I could have taken the rest of the bread as it was great as well.By Risa K (a year ago)Cuisine one of Best Detroit restaurants. Roasted oysters, Hamachi crudo, Sea Bass w/ shaved black truffle, A5 Kobe, Grand Marnier Souffle; Forget about it!! Perfect!By David Bishop (a year ago)Amazing Staff, Always friendly, efficient professional and knowledgeable. Chef Paul is superb, each dish is perfectly seasoned, Imaginative and delicious. I love that it changes with each show at the Fisher. Great Wine selection. Definitely my go to for fine dining in Detroit!By Kimberlyann Morris (2 months ago)My New Year’s eve 2020 started great! I was visiting my bf’s family. They were very happy to see me and wanted to treat me to some great local food. Since last year they had a great experience with Cuisine they decided to have dinner there this year again. The only dishes that I liked were the lobster bisque soup and pasta with caviar. Everything else was not worth the money charged. Especially the desserts. It tasted like they didn’t make them by themselves but just bought them. Overall I would give this place a better review if they didn’t charge around $600 for 4 people…so expensive for such poor food. I remember when me and my bf were at White Rabbit in Moscow for 2019 New Year’s eve. He also paid 150 per person but that was ELITE food.By Anastasiia Iun (2 years ago)Excellent service, fabulous meal and a Flat theater menu at a great price for three courses. These guys have it going on and know how to help you have a relaxed evening and get to the show in plenty of time. Highly recommended if you are going out to the Fisher Theater… or doing something in the New Center / North End of Detroit.By Melissa Behring (4 months ago)

Sat out on the patio yesterday with my partner to celebrate our anniversary and the experience was wonderful. Chris and Andrew were very friendly and treated us like royalty! We had the steak, braised short ribs, scallop and french onion soup. To drink we had the Brut Rose which was perfect. Everything was delicious and we gave a 10/10 rating. Would highly recommend!
Ill be honest, this was my FIRST time. I hate to give a review until I’ve been somewhere AT LEAST 2-3 times… but first time was a CHARM! The lobster stew was good…. but the Tomato Bisque is a MUST. The beet gnocchi was respectable and our favorite cocktail out of 4 was “The Sazerac”. If you miss the key lime dessert at the end, you’ve missed. Need to go back soon to try the WHOLE menu!!
Bon. I really like this place. First impressions are important and this place has good atmosphere as soon as I you walk in. I know it’s hard to find good staff these days but they did. My food was really good just like a real Parisian bistro. They did a good job on our cocktails too so I may come back just to drink next time! I think my favorite thing was the feeling of being in Paris again.
Fantastic night out. The food, service, and atmosphere was ACES all around.
Food:
Every dish was delicious, and we ordered plenty!
Service:
Staff was knowledgeable with the dishes and cocktails, even gave us some recommendations.
Atmosphere:
Thankfully, when dining in, you don’t need to scream over the music. It’s just pleasant ambiance.
I highly recommend visiting if you haven’t.
Ordered a French burger, medium rare – comes with truffle fries. Server comes out 20 minutes later with an American burger (completely different toppings and fries) so I ask for the correct burger. 25 more minutes pass and I get served the French burger well done with minimal toppings (just a tiny dollop of sauce) steak fries – which are served with the American burger.
Burger and fries is such a simple meal and Statler really messed this one up.
First time here and I will happily let people know that they should dine elsewhere.
