What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Adopting a puppy in the morning, went to PetSmart to get supplies.
The store is well stocked, clean and organized. The staff was pleasant and helpful even to the horrible customer ahead of me in line.
My dog bed was 50% off and Christmas themed dog toys start at $1.49. Great trip to PetSmart.
Please note Banfield veterinary is no longer in the building.

  2. Grooming service great. Nice friendly and loving to our furbabies. My pup first bath she came out smelling great and wagging her tail.

  3. We have moved to this area recently. This pet smart is amazing everything is clean and organized. The employees are very kind and respectful, especially to the animals.
If you want any supplies for your pet here in pet-smart they will help you as much as they can.
Not only do they sell food and supplies they also have other services such as grooming dogs, adoption for cats.
This Pet-smart will shock you and leave you with less stress.

  4. Grooming at the Marron Rd location needs a better manager. About a year ago the grooming service was great. Since then, the groomers keep leaving, and we get calls on the day of the scheduled appointments asking if it can be changed. Since there are always different groomers, the cut is always different. The value of the changing and resulting cut, is expensive. We’ll stop using this location until they can keep their groomers and manage the place like a business.

  5. Way WAY more small animal supplies than the Petco at Vista Way Oceanside! I thought it was all pet stores around but just gotta drive a little farther I guess. They have Everything I was looking for and so much more.

Everything deserves 5 stars here. Staff interacting with me were so friendly and helpful even if I wasn’t expressing interest (yet) in adopting. Facility was super clean and cats/bunnies/guinea pigs have ample space to themselves. Ame was an AMAZING adoption counselor! She was honest, kind, and patient throughout the whole process even though we were going a little past the cutoff time. After adopting, we had all the paperwork we needed, + a bag of Purina cat food to take home. Carrier was bought there since we didnt bring one (definitely would bring one incase they run out!) Overall so happy with our new pet cat, Chip!

We adopted a reptile, a young Sulcata Tortoise. The process was speedy and our agent was very informative. We were at the SDHS cats and small animals location in Oceanside. They have a number of cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, a few reptiles including iguanas and red ear slider turtles and occasionally land tortoises who are in need of homes. Please come and support!

They were quick and easy with the vaccines for my sweet girl, Nova. No long line. You do have to print out your visit summary in your own. Other than that, we had a good visit and Nova cooperated and didn’t have any issues with them administering her vaccines.

Took my daughter here when she was ready to adopt. She had looked on their site beforehand to check if they had any cats of a certain age group she was looking for. Once we were inside the facility, we could just browse around and eventually tell an employee which cat we were interested in. The adoption process was easy and we left with an adorable cat that day. Happy to report that the kitty is very happy at his new home since 18 months ???? We were amazed to see so many different creatures up for adoption! Bunnies, guinea pigs etc. No dogs at this location

They helped me in person with Cosmo’s License ???? at the San Luis Rey location. Had sign up issues when trying to get it with their online website. They fixed the issue, so all good. It was nice to visit, they had donated items, I bought some cool stuff $1 for a Padres collar, and dog bags too????

My husband and I visited the shelter today not knowing whether or not we’d be coming home with a new dog. We spent some time contemplating and we were having a hard time until our eyes laid on the cutest little chihuahua, Paquita. We were immediately sold! During the whole process of debating, the workers were so kind and patient with us, they helped us go through all of the pros and cons. When we finally made our decision, the adoption process was a breeze. The people who work here are so sweet and you can tell that they really care about these dogs getting the best of care in their new home. I had a great experience here!

Thomas is amazing. My girlfriend and I came in with a specific dog in mind. Upon coming in Thomas informed us that she was fully deaf and shared his concerns with first time deaf dog owning. He did in-fact find the right guy for us. He listened to our needs and wants and gave us the perfect boy. I swear perfect. Everything we could’ve asked for we got. So thank you so much to Thomas for doing so well for us. He will listen and provide you with a great addition to your family. So definitely take his advice. Now no rescue dog is perfect, my girlfriend definitely have some training to do still with our guy. But he is very well trained already and knows all the pup basics. Which makes things a-lot easier, and thats all thanks to Thomas. Give him a raise a promotion the whole 9 yards. Thank you Thomas. ~Renee n’ Jay + Major

Have been looking for a dog or two since our dog passed away. The Humane Society was filled with potential dig dag doggers. It would be nice to grab a couple of them right then and there but I used the excuse that my wife wasn’t there. What do you do when you know I’ve got three other dogs that they would have to get along with? All I can say is check it out!!

They killed my dog. It wasn’t even a full month. I wanted found housing and called to see about her. They wouldn’t tell me anything. I just found out through my mom they put her down. They acted as if she was in good hands. I’m heart broken. I told them I’d be back
