I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. Pet Supplies Plus has many, many of the exact same items as the other two stores, but seems to be a bit cheaper. They also have a great discount program which ended up saving us a good bit of money. The store was very clean and organized. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. The cashier we chatted with was very knowledgeable about the different products and programs that the store offered. We definitely enjoyed our visit and signed up for their free discount program. The only thing I’d recommend is for the employees to keep a closer eye on the Beta Fish. They seemed a bit lethargic and their containers had a ring of old food at the top. We are first time bearded dragon parents and all of the staff here have been so kind to us and knowledgeable, walking us through the process of taking care of our dragon. The store is clean, they always have everything we are looking for, and the staff is top of the line! They go out of their way to help us and make sure all of our needs are met. They both took the time to help me build a hamster cage so I could have it ready to surprise my daughter. Every time I go in there (which is often) they both help me and make sure I have all the things I need for all my pets. Its always a great experience and they always make my trips enjoyable!! It would be nice to see those people who complain volunteer some time here and help as there’s a tremendous amount of work that goes into this type of facility. We had family photos scheduled, so we took our dog to get trimmed and groomed for the occasion. They completely messed up my dog, we asked for a small trim and they needed up cutting his hair so short, nearly skin. To make things worse they left his tail and head alone, they completely messed up our dog. My wife was so distraught because we had planned these photos for some time. Absolutely terrible! We wasted $128. ????
Took my fur babies in to have their nails trimmed. Beth was very patient and did a great job, even though our little girl tried to give her a bit of trouble… ????
My son and I decided to adopted our kitten from this store as well as all of his supplies. I’m from upstate NY and I’ve been to many Petsmart stores BUTTTTT…..This store is EXTREMELY BUSY!!! Ive never seen a pet store as busy, EVER. However, all of the staff were super friendly and the store was clean and well stocked. I’m glad that there was a line of families there to adopt all of these kittens. I also need to give accolades to the pet rescue group who are doing a great job.
Petsmart is where my Sammy gets groomed and gets his supplies from.
The staff are so friendly and always have smile on their faces.
I always have a decent experience here.
They do need a few more cashiers for when lines are long.
Sometimes when you first walk in you can be greeted with the overwhelming animal smell you might find at a shelter. They also need someone patrolling the aisles for mess to clean up. They should change mop head & water frequently. Also, management may benefit from visiting other PetSmarts or pet stores to observe & implement some housekeeping practices. This should resolve the smell issue. At the same time, it’s a pet store so some leniency should be given.
They host wonderful adoption events. This is also a great place to come regularly if you are interested in adopting a cat as they have some temporarily housed at the store in partnership with rescues.
The customer service is stellar.
Everything about the store is pretty much stellar. One star was deducted solely for the smell. The smell has happened on more than one occurrence & seems to be an ongoing issue.
