- Reviews:York SPCA is an affordable way to have any of your cats or dogs spayed/neutered. I have a male French Bulldog they neutered and the vets and staff were wonderful with him and it’s a huge relief to have that need filled. A month later they spayed our adopted 4-year old female Cane Corso Mastiff. I literally felt nervous and stressed out when my Frenchie went in for his neuter, but it was time, when we took our mastiff a month later, we just knew they would handle her needs and take great care of her. Their process is so easy, and takes a lot of stress away from the overall cost and the care they provide makes your nerves settle. Yes, a low cost spay and neuter clinic they are, but the care and attention they give your pets money can not buy. I highly recommend YORK SPCA and I urge you to take advantage of their program. She ended up going into heat and the clinic staff was quick to respond to my emails and reschedule her so the procedure could be done safely. The day of her procedure, everything went incredibly smooth, and I was informed of everything in detail. To add to how great they are, I’m 38 weeks pregnant so I was behind on trimming my pups nails, and I noticed they did it for her while she was there. The facility itself is very clean. The staff is friendly and very responsive. When you call, it typically goes to voicemail, but they are very fast to get back to you after leaving a message. The employees showed an enormous amount of care for the animals while I was there and were very thorough to ensure the adoption was a good fit for the family, but specifically for the animal in their care. In addition, they provided plenty of information for me as a first time cat owner. I drove an hour from Maryland to visit and adopt my girl Spicy Tomato, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! 3 dog toys for $29. Ouch! I know they weren’t cheap before inflation but. Other than that, I like going to Petco checking out the reptiles. There is a cute cat named Petey that needs to be adopted ASAP.
The staff was awesome and took great care of my dog. The prices were reasonable. My dog looked and smelled great. They put purple bows in her hair afterwards.
Went to buy Ferrets refused to sell us Ferrets because they were “on hold” told us they were on hold since DECEMBER! Its now May! Went to another Petco and was informed they are not allowed to hold any animal. Store was dirty, staff is barely around took me 10 minutes to find someone. Will not be returning. Will be going to East End Petco. So much cleaner, better staff, and better selection!
The curbside pick up process was one of the fastest i have seen!
The app is easy to use and they brought out my items in less than a minute!
