What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. We had the best experience while at the Milwaukee campus last night. Last night our new furbaby came home. Gideon (now Cash) was adopted by our family. He is such a gentle giant. Made himself right at home! Very well behaved and so loving! He already responds to his new name, knows commands such as speak, sit, down and shake. He is responsive to our daughter and showing to be a protector of his humans. His temperament is perfect for our hone. At 5 years old he is playful and again GENTLE.
The staff at the Milwaukee campus were super friendly and attentive to our family dynamic.
Welcome hone Cash, you are already so loved!

  2. I adopted my very first cat Renee aka (little bitty kitty) last month it was the weekend and they were really under staff and I waited a really long time but it was totally worth it everyone there including my counselor Callie that helped me adopt Renee was very very nice and was able to answer all my questions so I’m very happy.(I love my new kitty so much she has changed my life for the better I can’t imagine not having her in my life.)

  3. Yesterday my bf and I adopted a beautiful German shepherd named Nemo! Our process was so great! Rebecca played a huge role in making sure all our needs and questions were met! We had the best experience with her and I definitely recommend her if you need any help adopting in the future!

  4. If you are looking for that place, where to find a pet or to have your pet serviced, look no further… You have come to the right place, the staff here are very professional, with love and passion in playing the role of your career. In the same way, the volunteer staff are excellent. I tell you that I came to this place and I was delighted to see the service they provide.

And even more so when I walk down the hall seeing the pets for adoption, well cared for, just like being at home. It is also worth noting the hygiene of the place, and the attention they provide.

And I could give you free food for the member of my house, so you have no excuse to leave him without eating.

Come and take a walk around here.

  5. One month ago we brought home a dog named mando….. he has become the best family member…. loves cuddles and pets especially on his belly our adoption counselor was fantastic
    What a great experience

There are so many animals that need homes that they are waiving and reducing adoption fees. Also consider being a foster parent. They are overflowing with kittens and have more on the way. Very nice helpful and organized place with people who care. I adopted this baby (pictured) who was just spayed. They took really good care of her for 2+ months, nursing her back to health, until she was adoptable. The animals are healthy and happy.

Drove an hour and half one way to adopt a dog, as they advertised there are forty dogs in need of adoption. The experience was extremely rushed. You have a limit of three dogs to see and no more. They advertised name your price adoption fees, but were not transparent at all about which dogs were in that program, and never got a price on any of the three dogs I visited with. Went to pay for the one I chose and it was 400. I didn’t want to spend that much, never was there before and unfamiliar with the prices or the process. Instead of explaining the process, and offering me another option to get a dog in the name your price program, they verbally attacked me. I did not get the impression that the employees cared about the dogs or especially me at all. I came there with an intention to leave with a dog, I left without one. Even though they claim these dogs are vet checked and medically ok, the people showing me the dog knew no information at all about any of the three dogs and the findings from the vet. One of the dogs I saw was clearly sick. Very sad. Total subpar experience. I can’t recommend.

We brought in this sweet boy that we rescued. They named him Mouse and he was adopted the same day as he went up for adoption. We’re so happy he was able to find his forever family. We would love to share his rescue story with his new family, if they are interested. So if you read this, please reach out.

I got two kittens about a week ago and I just love them. Their names are Navin and Walter.( Formally Eggplant and Artichoke). The price is amazing for all they have done and much cheaper than other shelters. All the people there are very friendly. I would recommend very highly getting cats and dogs here.

One year ago today I adopted Maximillian (formerly Iago) from this shelter and I am so happy I did. I had an awful previous adoption experience because I simply was not ready to care for a pet when I was younger and this team is very thorough in making sure you are prepared for your commitment and understands pets are family. When I had questions I was able to reach out and get insight even afterwards as well, not left high and dry once he was out their door. Keep doing the amazing work you guys are doing!!!

So I had seen a picture of the kitten that I wanted (foxy). I then found out she was adopted, a week later I saw her picture back up on the site so I had to make an appointment to see her. Saturday we went to meet her and we ended up adopting her and bringing her home. She is the love of our lives. We also adopted moonlight, another kitten from this company, but she’s with a foster, and will be bringing her home around December 10th!!
