What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Update 8-31-22. So I went back, I know that’s weak but they are the closest in my area. Disappointed again! I bought sausage links and patties for the upcoming weekend, there’s going to be a large group of us so I was buying the double packs (or just extra). When I went to the register my double packs, which were right next to the single packs, rang up 70 cents more each (sign said 2 for $5). Now I am not posting this because of the money, I’m posting because of their deceptive practices. I often see this sort of thing at Kroger. There will be tags by a couple of products (that are nearly identical) that don’t match the price at the register. The joke about this instance, is A they wouldn’t refund my money, B the twin packs in theory are usually less, and C they were the same ounce packages (I could have bought two that weren’t taped together) The most laughable part of the entire thing is that the manager went back and did a price check, so she could have brought the correct packages up that were two for five. Instead she just chose to come back to the register and say that I was wrong, that actually the double packages were $0.70 more. Am I wrong here?! I’m done, DONE!!!!! The bottle return area was finally in service, but it was absolutely disgustingly dirty!

We all need to stop shopping here until they make major changes or go out of business.

I have been coming here for years but I keep on getting let down by lack of stock, increased pricing, and once again the bottle return being out of commision. I feel you keep pushing me to shop at Meijer, because that is what I end up doing. I’m frustrated with you Kroger and taking my business elsewhere.

  2. This is by far the worst grocery store I’ve ever been in. It starts in a terribly configured parking lot. It then continues into a vestibule that smells of the restrooms. The produce and bakery sections are usually about half stocked by noon and oast that don’t bother. The aisles are very narrow. The prices are awful compared to Meijer. The whole store needs to be cleaned and reconfigured starting in the parking lot. I’d avoid this store at all costs.

  3. Kroger has been steadily going downhill is extremely sad. They’re fried Chicken is probably the best out of any even better than Kentucky fried. Yet they randomly open it you never know when you can get it. You can smell the fish counter that’s in the back all the way from the front door. They do seem to be properly staffed at registers to check out.

  4. Kristen and Jason were so helpful. Okay I don’t think I’ve ever been at a grocery store especially a big chain one had someone goes so out of their way to help me.
Even though I’m removing closer to a different Kroger I will make the extra trip to go here such a great experience

  5. Please help educate your employees to not cover the carbs on the nutrition level. Speaking for diabetics who need to read this and it will not peel up without tearing it with it…

I just drove 45 minutes for a specific flat iron, so I was really hoping to find it. It wasn’t on the shelf so I asked if it was in another area. Melissa and Jasen helped me by looking up the item and finding the item in the discount area. Thank you guys so much. You guys are lifesavers! Very kind and courteous!

Great grocery pickup. The availability of time slots is ample, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and there are few substitutions/out of stock items. My recent orders the few months have had very fresh items. I have been extremely happy with the time it takes to pick up my order as well. Thank you!

Also: The inside of the store is nice and clean. They have a lovely store with a Starbucks by the cut flower area which makes shopping here nice.

I love that this Kroger has a lot of cashiers…the only downside is almost all are unprofessional, rude and sometimes very odd. I don’t want to hear the banter between the cashier and bagger about how she likes to show her breasts while kayaking while my groceries are forgotten to be bagged. I want to have my groceries rung up and bagged, pay and get out of there. Where has the customer service gone? Where has decency and morals ran off to? If you don’t enjoy your job, fine. But treat the customers who contribute to your paycheck with a little more respect.

The employees otherwise are the same. Meat department stockers stock bacon with the seals broken and when politely given to them they take it and throw it on their cart and basically grunt at you. Absolutely pathetic.

This place is run by Mickey Mouse. 1 line open and 5 self checkouts with people with have 2 carts chexking themselves out. I paid for Ice cream and then went and got new ones as they melted waiting to pay. The only thing this place has got going for it’s, is the location. Not only do they close isles when thier customers are 5 deep in lines, you also have to bring your own cart in from the parking lots. Which are usually full of old papers and junk. I guess it hard to find employees these days, even management (Who closes isle when there are lines.). Good news is that if you decide not to wait to be rung out, they offer self check out and you can wait there instead. Don’t worry, 80% of the time will be self bagging, unless self check out, then 100%. Well still not any better. I miss the competition of A&P, Farmer Jack’s, and Chatham. The more monopoly we have the worst things get.

Will stay my favorite grocer as long as they keep stocking the Lemon Capellini Salad at the deli. The Spaghetti Salad is amazing as well.

0 of 5.0 bought watermelon the label remark sweet and seedless. For $8, when I opened it white with seed and not sweet. Never going back, if you don’t advertise honestly you don’t have a business. Respect the customer and choose honest vendors.

I just wanted to leave a review to shout out all of the employees, and specifically a nice man named Joe. Almost as soon as I walked in the store he saw me looking around in attempt to find something very specific in a store that I don’t usually patron. He asked me if I needed help, led me exactly where I needed to go, and even checked back in to make sure I was finding what I needed. When I got to check out, the woman behind the register as well as the lady bagging the groceries were incredibly sweet. Thank you for making my trip incredibly quick and efficient. It was all around a very positive experience.

This Kroger is downtrodden. Worst Kroger I’ve been to. Went here one time. Went fine. Second time and it was self checkout decline cashless transaction time. Owner is Circus proprietor or involved with regional gang members or federal law enforcement. Please shutdown and stop operations as soon as possible.

    This store makes me sad.

As other reviewers have said, there is always a line down an entire aisle—it’s because only the self checkouts are open. Of those self-checkouts, only half of them are turned on, and of those that are turn on, many have out-of-order messages on the screens. You might go in for just one or two things, but you will get stuck behind 20 people with full carts because there are no 10-items-or-less check outs. Your frozen items will melt. I feel bad leaving poor reviews for places, but it’s a constant issue.

This afternoon I pulled my cart up to my car and accidentally left my cane in the cart. I didn’t realize it until I arrived at my next stop and didn’t have my cane to get out. I went back to the parking lot and fortunately saw two of your employees picking up carts. I asked them about the cane and Karen said she had tried to catch me as I left but then took it into the store. Karen then offered to go and get it for me. She brought it to my car and I was very grateful. An excellent example of great customer service. Thank you Karen
