2 months agoMy wife and I have bought most of our groceries at this Kroger for many years. We’ve noticed a drastic change, not for the good, over the past 1-2 years. Today the front of the store was trashed and there were zero carts available, with the exception of the ones with defects and full of trash. Customers have now been relegated to find a cart in the parking lot and to check themselves out at the register. As another review states, we continually have issues with the self-check out, which appears to be the only option without waiting in a long line. Don’t even get me started with the deceptive pricing signs above or below the merchandise when it comes to “digital coupons.” Unfortunately the Memphis area doesn’t offer more affordable grocery options. I’m sure this is by design. I spoke with a manager and I will quote him, “we are doing the best we can.” I once worked in the grocery business and my boss would have fired me on the spot, if this was the best I could do. Managers can bring in carts and sweep the floor, right? I guess not.Kudos to the workers who are doing their best to keep the store going.
2 weeks agoThis so unacceptable in our neighborhood produce is trash store is dirty no cashiers the meat is rotten as you can see I wonder if Collierville is like this probably not2 months agoIncapable of operating a computer system or meeting commitments. Wasted four DAYS trying to do a pick up order bc I’m recovering from surgery and had it confirmed only to cancel within 2 hours of pickup. It’s not hard, don’t take orders you cant fill and don’t wait until right before the order is due to cancel it. Next time I I’ll be sure to shop somewhere else since delivery is hit or miss to begin with unless you give painfully exact instructions. There’s plenty of better places I can can get groceries if you’re too good for my money.2 months agoI go here every so often for some goods. Always a clean store and the employees are nice. They keep their shelves well stocked. And I love their fresh sushi!2 months agoThe price increase on your 12 oz bag of Private Selection flavored ground 100% Arabica Beans coffee is obscene! The coffee is delicious and when I first purchased it a few years ago the price was $5.99. Then the price jumped to $6.99. A few months ago the price skyrocketed to $8.99. Today the price was $9.49!!! This is nothing short of price-gouging. This really makes me mad.

4 weeks agoUsed the pharmacy for an emergency while traveling cross country. Amazing! All staff was pleasant, efficient and helpful from start to finish. Got me back on the road in record time. Highly recommend!4 months agoI was just walking through waiting on a to-go order from a nearby restaurant. I just want to say that the Produce Department was really immaculate. People were shopping and sure you could see product missing, but the items on the shelves and displays had clearly been placed with care. The loose apples and oranges, etc. we’re placed in perfect rows. Boxed and bagged items were neatly fronted and looking freshly placed. The floors were spotless.I don’t normally shop at this location, considering I have 3 closer Kroger stores closer to home. Cordova you have a Produce Leader that values his Department and puts pride in how he maintains the product.
I took a minute to talk to him and told him much of what I commented on above.
Shopping here might be well worth the travel increase.
4 years agoLove this grocery store. It is the one i shop at the most. Friendly employees and the store is clean. Fresh produce and the deli has great chicken salads to choose from. I’d recommend the rotisserie chicken salad. Great prices. Between the low price specials and electronic coupons and paper coupons you really can save a lot. I also like you earn fuel point with every purchase. You can also fill out an electronic survey and earn 50 bonus fuel points so always check your receipt to see if you get a survey. 1 survey per 7 days. Gas is expensive now so every little bit you can save helps.2 months agoLead pharmacist had a bit of a nasty attitude when it got close to quitting time. When your loved one just got discharged and they need their meds and the pharmacy is still open, what do you do? Got my dose of Happy Juneteenth I suppose.a month agoIam really disappointed with service in this Kroger with money order services the old women called LECHY is really bad at customer service every time I go there for money order she really get mad at me come up with new rules and also not ready to take my money because of her Iam driving 3 miles to another krogers .management please look in to it even my friends face the same issue with her every time

This is a lovely place to shop. It is always well stocked. The staff is super friendly. However, today I bought some crawfish from the seafood counter and was extremely disappointed. They used to allow me to taste one so that I could check out the seasoning. Apparently they don’t do that anymore. I bought a a couple of pounds of tasteless food. I was so sad (I know, first world problems).
I’m not going to lie. This location is highly recommended for me. I don’t like the other locations because I don’t feel comfortable with others. This location is clean, fresh, has the best employees, and services the carts are never empty and well organized. Plus, there is not much trash or debree all around the parking lot. I love it. This location is #1 on my list.
Francis deserves a raise. Things seemed to get a little hectic at the self check out. She remained calm and was empathetic. There seems to be an issue with some of the alcoholic beverages scanning which calls a slight back up in the line. Francis understood the issue and had a sense of urgency with making sure everyone gets kicked out properly. She is a great employee.
Went to the deli counter and couldn’t believe the number of flies swarming around the deli slicing equipment and other areas. There were 7-10 flies lined up on the counter at any give time. I’m not embellishing. It was as bad a wet market. This is unacceptable and management should immediately rectify it. I refused the order the lady made for me.
Security sitting in the same spot over 2 hours without moving. Labor Day 1:30pm do your job protect the customers drive around at least.
