Kroger in Union City GA: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know
When shopping at Kroger, it’s important to follow certain rules to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for yourself and others. Here are some dos and don’ts to keep in mind:
1. Do plan ahead: Make a shopping list before heading to the store to help you stay focused and efficient in your shopping.
2. Do practice good hygiene: Wash your hands before and after your visit to the store. Kroger provides hand sanitizer stations throughout their stores for your convenience.
3. Do follow social distancing guidelines: Maintain a safe distance of at least 6 feet from other shoppers and employees while in the store. Be patient and give others space when browsing the aisles.
4. Do wear a face covering: Many Kroger stores require customers to wear face masks or coverings while inside. It is important to check the store’s policy and comply with the guidelines to protect yourself and others.
5. Do be mindful of others: Be considerate of fellow shoppers and store employees. Avoid unnecessary touching of products, and refrain from hoarding or panic buying items that may be in high demand.
On the other hand, there are also some actions you should avoid while shopping at Kroger:
1. Don’t shop when you’re feeling unwell: If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, it is best to stay home and rest. Consider using Kroger’s online grocery delivery or pickup services to avoid going to the store.
2. Don’t linger or gather in groups: While it’s understandable to want to catch up with friends or family, avoid lingering in the aisles or gathering in groups, as this can hinder the flow of traffic and increase the risk of spreading germs.
3. Don’t touch unnecessary items: Limit touching items and only pick up what you intend to purchase. This will minimize the risk of spreading germs and keep the products sanitary for others.
4. Don’t forget your reusable bags: If you prefer to use reusable bags, remember to bring them with you. However, due to health concerns, some stores may not permit their use at this time. It’s best to check the store’s policy first.

I am Only Giving this store a 1 Star because I have to give one to do a review. They Are Always Out of Basic items such a Rice and Seafood. The list could go on. I am Never able to use the coupons I receive in the mail due to them never having the product. Today No ground Turkey At All and the Meat Manager has the nerve to get a smart when I ask him when they will have more. And to top it off the Seafood department is Non Existence. Never any Seafood available the area is just empty. Today I found No 5lb White Potatoes and no Fresh seafood.
I have resided in this neighborhood for 2 years now, and in my time here I have started to venture to other neighborhoods and visit their grocery stores instead of this location and one major difference I see is how in the white neighborhoods the shelves are always fully stocked but this location never has the basic things like bread , rice, tomato sauce, ground beef and most of the time it is out of water. I visited this location today because I did not feel like driving across town for a loaf of bread and at 2pm, the shelves looked like this. I was a merchandiser for 2 years and I was to start visiting my stores on my route at 4 am, starting with the stores that were open overnight then to the stores that opened the earliest and moving on down the line, i went to different locations on different days of the week. But no matter what day of the week I visit this location, it is always lacking basic necessities. I am going to go back to the white neighborhood tomorrow and I am already certain that the shelf will not look like it does in the grocery store in the prominently black neighborhood.
I was so appalled when I walked into this Kroger. Over 500 security cameras, special products locked behind glass. Alarms set up in the middle of the store. Racial profiling at its finest! There’s stealing happening on all sides of town not just black neighborhoods. I felt uneasy walking around this store. Kroger If you are that passionate about lost prevention then hire a police office but don’t degrade black people. This is really sad, do better Kroger!
Great prices, and selection of plant based goods throughout the store. Convenient location. Be careful if you’re vegan shopper prepackaged foods, some of them are labeled “plant based”, but contain animal products like egg or cheese.
Reminded why I don’t shop here, other than treating customers like criminals you all have a huge price discrepancy problem. In an order of only 14 items TWO items were priced more than they were advertised for. That’s 14 percent of my shopping items were priced wrong. Then I had to wait 10 minutes for an override that never came. Trash.
