This was my go to Kroger until I moved to downtown Dayton. Really enjoy the layout of this Kroger too. They are usually well stocked and also have friendly staff.
Fair warning if there is ever a snow storm or adverse weather that make people run for bread and milk, THIS ONE IS A MAD HOUSE. the only negative thing I have to report is the parking lot is hard to navigate.
I’ve always liked Kroger. They follow the procedure for what the consumer needs, otherwise uneventful. The sushi is normally good and fresh, plenty of options, and their prices are comparable to others, but you can still get a little higher quality items. Clean and good staff. No complaints other than general capitalism.
I’ve been asking for Cream Cheese for fruit. They got it in once but took 3 weeks or more, now they don’t have it again. They also run short of Blackberry Turkey Hill Tea. I try not to go on a Sunday because they have fewer cashiers. Possible that has improved, I don’t know because I avoid shopping there on Sundays. I use the Kroger app and try to use digit coupons but I generally don’t have much success with that. I do like the Kroger gas station right there and I do earn points and save money on gas. Last time I saved .50 cents a gallon. Just depends on how much you spend on food.
Get rid of the digital coupons. If something is on sale, then just put it on sale — We downloaded the app and the coupon, and it would not work. The cashier wasn’t sure why it didn’t work, so we asked for a manager to help. The “responsible person” (as they self described) who came over could not remedy it, and just shrugged their shoulders, and then told us the customer service desk was closed. Great customer service technique there. So instead of making a sale at the sale price, they made zero dollars. Thanks
Employees are very friendly, but it is very annoying that there are rarely any actual cashier aisles in “off” hours like the morning. Instead, they just have two employees working self-checkout that just stand around. I would much rather be able to use a cashier aisle.
