He gave a thorough detail as to what the issue was, his recommendation, and why exactly he was recommending a new water heater installation. He also informed us about their furnace cleaning/inspection service which we took advantage of as well. The price for everything was a bit higher than we expected, but we trusted the knowledge and quality of the work. He also gave some tips for some of the smaller things we wanted to get done around the house ourselves. Chris C. was friendly and approachable as he introduced himself, and got to work quickly on the furnace inspection. Overall it seemed like the unit was doing alright, but he did try pretty hard on up-selling additional humidifier upgrade/replacements. He gave us a recommendation for the HVAC/Furnace capacitor replacement, but we opted to wait on replacing as the price seemed a bit steep, and everything was still working as expected. Jonathan D. and Chris K. did a solid job at the installation, as well as incorporated feedback I gave them at the beginning of the installation. All questions were answered clearly and they explained pretty much everything before heading out. I forgot to ask about usage instructions for the new water heater units, but I’m sure we can find those online somewhere. They made it look easy and I’m a grateful that I was able to find them especially in my moment of crisis when the water pipes in my office froze/burst. - Reviews:Javier from Rescue Plumbing is great! I had a burst pipe from the cold temperatures so I called Rescue Plumbing.They were able to schedule me for an appointment the same day. Javier was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and how the job would be carried out. I very much appreciated that he answered all of my questions—which were many! When the issue was identified he made sure I understood the issue by explaining the situation and making sure I could see it. He also explained the cause of the issue and how to prevent future bursts. The pricing is very transparent so there were no surprises when it was time to pay the invoice. Javier explained the pricing beforehand as well as again, before payment. Javier documented everything both with photos and a written explanation which made it easier to submit a comprehensive invoice to my insurance adjuster. I would definitely recommend Rescue Plumbing! Rick and his colleague were very professional and honest. We thought we would have to replace our entire faucet but Rick was able to fix our existing faucet which was great. We were impressed by how knowledgeable he was on our existing Hansgrohe faucet as well as the backup Delta faucet we purchased (in case it needed to be replaced). We had a back up sump pump installed. The service was great as we stated in our previous review. Talking with the technician David, recommend replacing our ejector pump which was also 10 years old which could fail without warning.
We agreed to have him replace it the next day. He did a great job installing a new sump pump, back up with battery and the ejector pump the next day.
David was professional, punctual, courteous and efficient.
We feel much better now that they have all been replaced and everything works just fine.
Oh boy…where to even begin? My roommate/tenant clogged the kitchen sink while I was away at conference without phone access. In the mean time they robbed us blind. The clog was a straightforward food clog. On day 1, a technician came in and destroyed my pipes. Horrendous leaking, completely beyond repair. Cost for this disaster: $500. My tenant then called again to have the damage repaired, at which point I joined by video call. The new technician explained that the last service had indeed been faulty, and that he had to replace all of the pipes: “you can probably get your money back.” I have never had issues with these pipes, which were just two years old. He did this without first asking permission, and replaced an excellent set of steel pipes with the cheapest PVC job I have ever seen (see photo). Cost for cleaning up their own mess: another $500. No refund as of yet. I will be filing a complaint with the city and disputing any charges moving forward. Avoid these swindlers at absolutely any cost.
Set an appointment for the next day and Stephen, the plumber, called and informed me that he could arrive early. The issue was a clogged sink and he explained what he would need to do to fix it and also suggested preventive measures for the future. He was very thorough and diligent in the work that he performed. He really put my mind at ease and things are working beautifully now. I give Stephen 5 stars on his professionalism, knowledge, skill and demeanor. I would choose Root-Rooter again based on my experience today.
My experience was wonderful per usual. I have confidence that whenever I use this company my plumbing issues will be resolved. Very kind and engaging technicians that explain my issue to me and what needs fixing. The ONLY grip I have is they are so darn expensive even for small jobs. If you use them expect to pay $$$. Due to this, I sometimes call other companies that take a bit longer to resolve and respond but at least I keep some change in my pocket. If not for their pricey fees Roto Rooter would receive 5 stars from me.
Removed an old drum trap, and some rusted steel pipes. Replaced old s trap with p trap. Fantastic work and quick! Jesus was very professional and gave me tips on how to unclog moving forward. Highly recommend.
