a month agoAmazing place. My daughter and I loved the house games. The house was incredibly well appointed with lots of little details throughout. Thank you Louis and Angel for a great stay!3 months agoWe made reservations in January thinking we found a great place for our big family to stay while we were in Tyler for a wedding on April 29th. We were contacted via text message the week before our reservation date and were told that our reservation was canceled because there was another reservation made through a second website for the same dates as ours. The timing of this notification seems suspect as we made our reservation 4 months ago. This creates a huge problem as we are struggling to find accommodations only a week before the wedding date. Seems like this “booking mistake” would have been realized long before the one week notice we were given. If you book this location I highly recommend that you double check the validity of your reservation and catch this potential problem to avoid a last minute notification from the owner.6 months agoI enjoy staying here when traveling for work and absolutely love this place! It’s always welcoming and breakfast is AMAZING! The house is very clean with hidden gems to discover and the service is off the charts EXCELLENT! Thank you so much for all you do!2 years agoThe energy and love that was poured into the restoration of this fabulous facility flows back out into the guest and restores your soul during your stay at Wren in the Willows. The boundless attention to even the most minute detail is endlessly fascinating! The bedrooms, each themed after a great work of literature, were incredibly detailed. The common areas were exceptional for spending time together in the rich, authentic hues that accentuated the history of the house. The hosts provided so many amenities above and beyond what would normally be part of a weekend visit that it made the trip all that much more enjoyable. Basic breakfast items, coffee, and an luscious pound cake were all waiting for us upon arrival, as was Angel – ready to share the history of the house and give any tips for our visit.
Although we only stayed three nights, the house easily contained weeks worth of enjoyment for guests, and I’m sure if there were a house mystery (wink, wink) it would be described as over-the-top or exceptionally creative or endlessly fascinating! Highly recommended and would definitely visit again when in the area, hopefully with more time to spend exploring this beauty.
a year agoI had a great time at the Wren and Willow! Louis and Angel are committed to serving their guest. The original charm of the home is adorned with a vintage and modern flair. Great location, very comfortable and clean rooms, essential amenities but most importantly, the best people are here…I will be back!

We had a wonderful time at Rosevine Inn! Even though we arrived late, the innkeeper was there to welcome us in. Period music was playing in the living room and our guestroom, which set a relaxing mood. Our room–“Sports Legends of the 1930s”–was charming and cozy and I enjoyed looking at all the photographs and memorabilia on the walls. It had all the necessary including toiletries, clock, charging station, etc. In the morning, I explored all of the fun sitting areas on the property, though we didn’t have time to stay and enjoy them. Coffee was available upstairs when I woke up. We had breakfast later, and it was delicious, including homemade bread. We enjoyed talking with the innkeepers and other guests. We hope to return when we have more time!
Bert and Becca, thank you for making our anniversary weekend so special! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment at your lovely property! The Casablanca was so perfect for us and the bed was super comfy! The delicious breakfast and lively conversation around your beautifully set table was a favorite! We are already planning our next visit with you! Also, thank you for going out of your way to accommodate my food sensitivities! It was much appreciated!

The Innis close to downtown Tyler but feels like a secluded quiet neighborhood. We stayed in the Sherlock Holmes suite, which is a separate house with a bedroom, bathroom, dining room, living room, and full kitchen. It was strikingly appointed with vintage furniture and various Sherlock Holmes memorabilia. We enjoyed watching a DVD of an old Basil Rathbone movie.
For a couple getting away for a long weekend, it was a comfortable oasis with easy access to anything around Tyler. The hosts were friendly, the breakfast delicious, and the bed quite comfortable. Highly recommend!
Bert and Becca, where to start! What an incredible weekend my boyfriend and I spent at the Rosevine! This place has a magical comforting feeling to it. From the moment we got in to the moment we left, an overwhelming feeling of peace, welcome and happiness surrounded us. We stayed at the Music Legends room. It was cozy and comfortable with great views. We toured around the barn, upstairs patio and downstairs bubble patio. Had the most delicious breakfast and met the wonderful couple who created this very unique and beautiful place. Can’t wait to go back and experience the other spaces and adventures. Thank you so much for the wonderful time!

We thought the whole experience was very cool with themed rooms and so many quirky decorations. We loved the tea and coffee bar upstairs as well as the barn game room. The breakfast offerings were amazing as well as the conversation.
The location was close to the Tyler Rose Garden and Museum which was a nice way to spend a half day.
