What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Garden centre had very healthy looking stock and friendly helpful staff. In my opinion, Hamburger and hotdog bun selection is way better than at the Chilliwack real Canadian superstore. The women’s toiletries section again is way better for selection and varieties than at the Real Canadian Superstore. Prices can’t be beat! Things to keep in mind for the next visit.

  2. Long line ups and the online pick up was the worst experience I’ve ever had. It’s not the employee’s fault. The online order guy was totally friendly and sympathetic after it took three times to pick up an order which had arrived, but was not accessible. I tried to contact customer service– no reply. Emailed HQ– no reply. Short staffed and slim pickings by the evening when it comes to groceries. I go for specific deals but I WILL NEVER order online and pick up at the location again.

  3. Very unhelpful. I’d purchased something a week prior and wanted to return it as it wasn’t what I was hoping for. I’d misplaced my receipt but had the bank statement and the time and date of purchase. I work retail so I know that that is all that’s required to find a receipt. I had the card it was purchased on as well. I told the woman at the counter the information to which she rudely responded “that doesn’t help me.” I remarked that her system should have receipt backlogging, to which she handed me some paperwork to fill out and told me that someone would get back to me in the morning. I ended up going to the Walmart at Highstreet with the exact same information and they were able to pull up my receipt and refund me. I believe that this woman was inclined to turn my request down out of laziness. I looked into the return policy without receipt afterwards and I was well within the parameters.

  4. I appreciate all the deals however some things should be reviewed by management. Why they would put a bunch of items on sale after you pass through the check-outs heading towards the south exit is beyond my imagination.

Another upset is when they close a bunch of check-outs when it’s busy. The last thing shoppers want is to be stuck in long line after a busy day. Like everyone else were concerned about the steady high prices. Are they gouging the public on some items or…?

  5. Don’t know why the Wal-Mart cashiers are so rude and won’t even lift toilet paper but if you keep items in the cart they act like you trying to steal. I avoid Wal-Mart as much as possible, hardly ever a good experience.
