What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I just left and spent over $300
I had an issue with something very small.
Chips are clearly advertised for 3 for $9
Sayyad at the customer assistance counter is not only the rudest employee but the most incompetent.
He tells me the system wont allow him to do a refund, lol.
    Really?!?!
So you over charge me and then make me wait for 25 minutes and then refuse to give me money back for a sale that is clearly advertised.
    Wow!
Its not even about the money.
This man was not only rude, wasted my time and then lied to my face…..
You tell me…. look at the pic
Are those chips on for 3 for $9??

    Seems pretty obvious
    I expected better from Wal-Mart

  2. This review is all about Chris, the wonderful human being and store manager at Walmart, located at 1105 Wellington Road at the White Oaks Mall. I don’t know where to begin. I went there today because I purchased a boot tray from this store and left it there in the shopping cart by the parking lot. I went to customer service to see if anyone saw my tray by the parking lot, and the customer service lady was not helpful at all; she rejected it without even asking anyone, a really bad customer service experience. I was very sad at the time and walked down the aisle to see if I could find someone to check, and luckily I found Chris, the store manager, and he helped me by contacting all managers to see if they saw my tray by the parking lot, and he is taking his time and helping me with the situation, which is wonderful compared to the customer service lady. I don’t know how to describe Chris; he is a wonderful human being. Chris, you are such a wonderful person. You make my day. I know this is a little thing for you, but what I have seen is that at least one human being stepped up to help with the situation, and that person was sent from heaven, and it is you. To the lady at customer service, please be nice to everyone, no matter what. Try to help the customers in a proper manner, like Chris. Instead of rejecting people without even asking your co-workers, try to figure out the situation and help your customers in a proper manner. Chris, there aren’t enough words to describe how amazing you are. I am a regular customer here; we may see into each other again, but since you took the time to assist me, I thought I would give you a review. Keep up the good work. God bless you and your family.

  3. The layout of this walmart was completely unorganized with randomly bins of recycling in the lanes, but what bothered me the most was the terrible service I received from the cashier. Not a care in the world, throwing my groceries as she was scanning them and letting it pile up while I scrambled to pack my groceries. Another customer was ahead of me as well while they were packing their items and she decided not to wait and mix my groceries with hers. I’ve been a cashier before and so I know that common courtesy and politeness, as well as scanning items isn’t that difficult.

  4. Went though self checkout with only 3 items and purchase I made at another store. I accidentally scanned 1 item twice and called for assistance. The lady then proceeded to tell me that the item I purchased wasn’t scanned yet and I replied with I purchased it at another store, in which she backs off. So just as a heads up never use self checkout and train your staff to not assume someone is stealing.

It’s like any other Walmart Supercenter. The markers on the shopping aisles to control pedestrian traffic due to covid is helpful. They are following covid guidelines and are strictly up holding them I’m still not a fan of the self-checkout at all and I think they need to open up more cashiers. I appreciate that they still sell DVDs

Clean location!! Nice customer service, I used self checkout and for some reason my card kept sayung insert even though it was inserted. We tried a few times and the customer service worker ended up checking me out at there post. Also I found very cool products I have not seen at Walmart before!! The layout is different then other locations but I love it because its clean and organized!!

Use to be a decent Walmart.. as of the past year or so there is a huge decline in service. Store shelves constantly empty. Especially the makeup section (shelves have been close to empty for months) Impossible to get a shopping cart as they never have any , recently started to lock them and have customers use a quarter to unlock in order to prevent them from being stolen yet today there were none ( customers were having to search for carts in the parking lot) when asking employees where the carts are they just shrug their shoulders. This store which was once an enjoyable store to shop at has now become a huge inconvenience and customers have no choice but to shop elsewhere And after reading reviews and noticing that there is not a reply to anyone, I guess it’s pointless Writing a review as it doesn’t seem like staff reads it. In my opinion, management needs to be fired and someone that knows how to run the place should be given the job

Really disappointed with employee at self-checkout today! She just standing right beside me and watching I am scanning all items or not and after I finished she just came to my checkout screen and without even asking anything she reprinted my receipt and telling that I have not scanned few items, after rechecking she realized that I have checkout all the items in the cart and it was her fault that she didn’t able to see it! She didn’t even apologize and just left after realizing her fault!

Ordered groceries online. I pull in to pick them up and I’m the only person here. I think great this will be fast. I checked in 15 minutes before I got here. 25 minutes after arriving they finally come out and go to a car that just got here to load them up first. How is this not a first come first serve basis? Ridiculous, perhaps try hiring people who can actually organize and think.

there are goods at good discounts and prices. but the choice is not good for all product categories. the staff is very nice, help in choosing the goods, friendly and attentive. a large selection of toys, clothes, little things for home, handicrafts, appliances and electronics, .for sports and recreation. convenient work schedule. there are no queues at the checkout, cashiers serve quickly. Delivery

Really we don’t go in there, unless we really have to, They sell no groceries. If I need essential, I head to Dollarama, if I need food, I go to Freshco. Our biggest issue with this store is the incompetent staff, Especially on the weekends and evenings. At times they have to use their phone to translate what we say into their own language. On many occasions we see staff talking to each other in foreign languages and laugh, at which point you are not sure if they laugh at you or on something else, but when you ask to find a product, they have no clue, or they just tell Lie to you that “They don’t have it. On numerous occasions I was told this, yet I did find what I wanted regardless and when confronted the associate with it, They make excuses for their incompetence. Do Not recommend this store.. Update to 2022: This Walmart store scammed one of my family members by asking for her ID for a gift card and someone signed her up for a credit card. Several days later we received a letter from Walmart financial, I confronted the manager and explained to her that she never provided her consent or signature, nor she ever wanted a Master-card. Her response was “We don’t need your signature to sign you up. This manager was an older woman. So under no circumstance you should ever show any ID in this store. They will take advantage of this and steal your info. Stay away!
