2 months agoReviewed this back when it was the Staywood Suites (at least I think that was the name). Anyways…. Even though the name changed the hotel is still great. I’ve stayed here numerous times throughout the years and it’s always a pleasant experience. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.. plus always very clean. Beds are great, staff are kind, and the breakfast is about as good as you’ll great in any standard hotel. Love the pool area as well.4 months agoThe hotel is pretty good for being 3 stars. But few things were not expected. When you sit with kids in the pool, the maintenance guy comes with the blower and blows the leaves right in front of you. It happened twice for the 6 days when we were there. Also if you are late for the breakfast for 1 minute, you will be met by tired lady who won’t even listen to you. The breakfast is good. The cleaning ladies are very polite, and attentive. Also, in the middle of one of the days, there was a fire alarm maintenance. They gave us the notice the day before , but still, it was very inconvenient to listen to the crazy fire alarm from 11am to 4pm. Kids couldn’t sleep,dog was barking, we had to leave the hotel at 3pm though it was a nap time. It should be arranged somehow another way, I believe In general, the hotel is clean. But you need to order the cleaning of your room in advance.2 months agoOnly stayed for a night however, the beds were super comfortable and the room was spotless. Housekeeping did a wonderful job. Staff was friendly! The location was in a good spot, close to many things. I love the kitchenette area especially that it had a hot plate to cook on!4 months agoWe are staying in a suite, and it’s really nice, full kitchen and very clean and modern. Beds are very comfortable, and it’s quiet, no slamming doors. Location is great too for us, close to restaurants, sports, everglades, and shopping. Pool area is nice too. The drawback is the service; breakfast is not restocked, it just just runs out if you don’t show up early, and the pool towel cabinet is empty. I would defintely stay here again!4 months agoI used to be a frequent guest at this hotel. However, my latest experiences have deterred me from ever returning again. BEWARE of MANY MALFUNCTIONS: toilets not working (we had to call maintenance to fix the issue w/in 24 hrs of check-in), light switches not working, rooms not being fully cleaned and sanitized (a pair of children’s gloves were found in our room), no housekeeping (be prepared to make your own bed, throw out your trash and perform housekeeping duties. No one even comes by to deliver clean sheets nor towels so bring your own! Additionally, if you are working from home note that their Business Center has no working printer?! Oh and if you want to use the gym, note the AC does not work and the heat from the adjoining laundry room will make working our unbearable…..The surrounding neighborhood isn’t anything to brag about either. However, none of these complaints compare to our experience On 4/6/2023, the hotel held a yearly system maintenance. As a result, alarms are continuously BLARING and maintenance personnel enter all rooms as part of their system maintenance protocol. Understandably, system maintenance is an important process needed for the overall safety of guests. However, this is not what guests paid for. As guests, we pay for a service; a place to stay in tranquility. We are currently on vacation and being forced out of our rooms should not be an option. Management holds this service on a yearly basis, therefore there is plenty of time to inform guests PRIOR to booking. Giving guests 24 hrs notice by placing a notice on their door is not an acceptable option. Unbelievably, management refused to compensate us for the day. Pics to follow……

a year agoI personally just had to make a review for this Motel because it is very peaceful clean and convenient. The staff is super friendly and I like the fact that they are strict about the environment. No stragglers hanging around no people smoking and doing drugs outside of the building which is greatly appreciated. The manager Sarita is very respectful and nice and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere exclusive and reliable. Also another staff member Nick is very resourceful and encouraging as well he’s always in a very upbeat and positive mood.a year agoMy girl and I have been living here for a week or so now and the workers here are extremely polite. I must say that I’ve enjoyed my stay. It’s almost as if it’s not a motel but a studio apartment.a year agoI really enjoyed my stay here at plantation motel. The room was big and clean. The staff was very nice. If u are looking for a nice quiet place to visit this is the place for you. I highly recommend plantation motel. I will definitely be coming back again and again. I really enjoyed my stay here…11 months agoThe lady who works there that cleans the rooms and work in the office she’s the sweetest lady you can ever meet she’s very nice and kind down to earth I will I would recommend this to anyone and everyone it’s a must have experience just like home away from home love ita year agoLovely, quaint motel just steps from the lake. Very clean and quiet. Parking right at our room. So easy to find and close to many attractions. We were thrilled to find this great place to stay.

Nice comfy room, staff was nice and very polite. Negatives, pool needs to be cleaned, a lot of leaves floating in it. If you are staying more than one night, you are expected to take your dirty towels and wash cloths to them and they will exchange them for clean ones, they also expect you to empty your own trash. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that had you do those things. We paid over $100.00 a night, those things should be part of what we paid for.
Was very dirty garbage in The halls and elevator.. I was there 2 nights and when My room did not get cleaned I asked why and was told they only cleaned rooms every third day..the sink in my room leaked all over the floor.. reported it and was told it was noted on my file…? They set up breakfast starting around 1:20 am and just left it out and the eggs were rubber and sausage was awful. Was swimming in the pool and the employees and their family came out and brought liquor and weed out and sat there smoking and drinking … it was a very unprofessional hotel and I would not recommend to anyone
Very happy with our stay, very clean, quite, friendly and had a big breakfast. Lots of shops and restaurants near by. I also felt their prices were good. I would definitely stay there again.
Nice LA Quinta location. Small pool, good size workout room. Rooms were clean, maids were fast and did a great job. Nothing bad to say, only praise for this establishment.
Horrible customer service. Someone broke into the room while we were sleeping. If the latch wasn’t on who knows what would’ve happened. Management is absolutely horrendous. I would give 0/5 if I could. Do NOT stay here!
We switched rooms after the first incident (which had cockroaches)only to be met with a room stink of marijuana and the next one wasn’t even cleaned. Then they refused to refund me for this nightmare of a stay! I wish I could upload videos here.
