7+ Airbnb Safety Tips You Need to Know
Here are some Airbnb safety tips to help you stay safe during your stay:
- Read the reviews carefully. This is the most important safety tip. The reviews will give you a good idea of what other guests have experienced at the Airbnb. Look for reviews that mention safety, cleanliness, and the overall experience.
- Communicate with the host. Once you’ve booked the Airbnb, be sure to communicate with the host. Ask them any questions you have about the property or the area. You should also let them know your arrival and departure times.
- Meet the host in person. If possible, try to meet the host in person before you check in. This will give you a chance to get to know them and ask any last-minute questions.
- Check the security features. Once you’re at the Airbnb, be sure to check the security features. This includes things like the locks on the doors and windows, the security system, and the smoke detectors.
- Be aware of your surroundings. When you’re out and about, be aware of your surroundings. Don’t leave your belongings unattended, and be sure to walk in well-lit areas.
- Trust your gut. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t hesitate to leave. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.

By following these safety tips, you can help ensure that your Airbnb stay is safe and enjoyable.
Here are some additional tips to stay safe on Airbnb:
- Use a strong password and two-factor authentication. This will help protect your account from being hacked.
- Don’t share your personal information with anyone you don’t know. This includes your full name, address, and phone number.
- Be careful about what you post online. Don’t post photos or videos of the Airbnb that could identify it or the location.
- Report any suspicious activity to Airbnb. If you see anything that makes you feel unsafe, report it to Airbnb immediately.
By following these tips, you can help keep yourself safe while using Airbnb.

a month agoVery lovely hotel, staff welcoming and very kind, esp on our arrival. This was not a pleasure trip but a family emergency. I am grateful there were rooms at this most convenient, clean, pleasantly staffed hotel. The rooms were large and clean, the bed a little hard and some floor grout missing in the bathroom, but overall a great experience.in the last weekDO NOT STAY HERE.My hotel room was BURGLARIZED. This occurred while the hotel was at full occupancy. I left my room for maybe 3 or 4 hours. When I returned I discovered my rooms door had been forced open.
Hotel staff at the front desk expressed concern. However due to the lack of available rooms I was forced to stay in my room unable to lock the door.
After returning home with nothing but my keys and wallet I filed a claim with the hotel, who put me in contact with their insurance company. After itemizing the stolen belongings and two weeks of waiting. I was told the hotel was not responsible for an individuals criminal actions.
No compensation or discount was offered. All my belongings are gone. I’ll never return here again. Despite what the management may post in reply to this, this issue has not been resolved.
a month agoEverything was nice and clean. Everyone was nice, great customer service. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The restroom could have had extra toilet paper, other than that I was extremely satisfied3 weeks agoThe guy I talked to the evening I was supposed to check in was very unsympathetic about the reservation desk screwing up my check in time/ date. He could have cared less. Hotel was full and I guess that was all he cared about even though they double booked my room and left me in a pinch. No offer to try and help me find a room at any other Hilton between there and the airport, no discount for the inconvenience. Staff there during our stay, when we were finally allowed to check in…. were fine thougha week agoRooms were food, pillows were thin. Brought my own. Otherwise facilities were good and easy to get to the hotel, good location.

a month agoThe room was clean. The bed firm. The smoke alarm chirps and chirps. Went to ask office to get it fixed.. No battery and manager won’t be in until noon tomorrow. So we got to hear it all night long. Not much restful sleep.4 months agoIf I can give a zero I would. This place is such trash. I got here at 3 am to get some rest before finishing my trip. From the second I pulled into the property its loud music, car alarms constantly going off, people knocking on random doors looking for people. Needless to say I didn’t sleep at all. Never coming here again. The parking lot is a literal project full of hoodlums who seem to live here. F this place. And if you’re the owner don’t even respond about working on improving I read all the other reviews saying the same stuff. Wish I read them sooner.5 months agoThe front desk was nice and professional. Bottom sheets weren’t clean and had dirt on it. They just changed top sheet and pillow cases. We ended up taking bottom sheets off and putting our own blankets.2 weeks agoHot with cops plus the hookers be up and down the street cops don’t play on that side of sb so if you going to just go don’t but if ur a good goodie u have a chance not to get pulled over believe me you willa month agoAlways a good place to stay always nice and clean and fresh towels the floors always done slippery when wet though the keeper Elena very nice person

Your dream room awaits in San Bernardino CA, USA, ready to welcome you with open doors. Happy house hunting!
I stayed here for a month on a business trip. All the front staff Marie ,Roger , America ,Aliyah, Refugio were all extremely helpful and wonderful every time I needed something. My room was clean in a good location and I would stay here again, if in the area. But what I love the most was a comfortable bed. I wish I could have taken it home with me. Thank you so much for for making my steak enjoyable.
I’m staying here for a business trip and it’s been awful. We walked in right after they lost power and they wouldn’t offer any sort of accommodations for the inconvenience of an hour wait to check in. My coworker found a giant hairball in his bed the first night. I was told by a staff member that breakfast was included and then I got charged $17 for a simple breakfast. When I complained, multiple staff members told me there was nothing they could do and they refused to take the charge off even though their staff made the mistake. The most they did was take a whopping 15% off after half a day of frustration trying to get this worked out. Housekeepers were cleaning the room next to me at 9pm the second night and the cookies they gave us were raw. I can’t say enough negative things about this place.
Stayed a week at the DoubleTree, and the rooms are nice and clean. Ramona was awesome at the front desk, providing top notch service. Her support made our stay really pleasant. Jose at the front desk provided great service too. We’ll stay here again!
I’ve stayed here before but this time had a huge impact and will not be staying here again. Not the hotel’s fault that their guests have no respect for others around them but when you have kid’s sports teams staying with you it would be in your best interest NOT to alienate your business travelers. Between the excessive noise late at night, housekeeping not able to keep up with the mess that is being made in the public areas, computers occupied by kids every time i tred to get on and breakfast virtually unavailable due to long wait times, etc. What happened to unruly guests/those who don’t follow the rules getting removed from the property? I was offered to move rooms but opted not since it was my last night. Now thinking abt that offere, I’m kind of offended- offered a lower floor (there’s a reason a take the highest floor.. no one overhead), and shouldn’t the “trouble maker” be moved?
The hotel did try but with no success.
I was here for a focus group meeting in the Riverside Room. The hotel is beautiful with restaurants and a coffeehouse/convenience store on site. Plenty of parking but it’s $12/day. Luckily we had vouchers.
