The home is spot on and beautiful, it’s super clean and looks like it’s brand new.The location is excellent centrally located and close to everything, it’s also a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Overall it was an excellent choice for our Huntington getaway.
8 months agoI came into town for few days and stayed here instead of a hotel. Best choice I ever made. Clean, beautiful, spacious and welcoming. Full luxury. I felt right at home. The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. I felt like it was a mini getaway. I will def be coming back here. Close to the beach and excellent restaurants.8 months agoI need a staycation that was local for my kids and I and we had a phenomenal time. And can’t wait to book again. The host was excellent. Lamont and Kamau were fantastic! We have had a very hectic emotional day. Both gentlemen greeted my daughter and I with a smile and friendliness that was very very appreciated!! Thank you Stay America for having such a great staff as your front of house service! They were amazing!!!
The front desk service at this place was a total disappointment. The front desk just didn’t care that I already had a reservation for a price and wanted more money for the same room. It was not even a friendly service to make me change my mind, over a $80,00 difference. Why make an online reservation, when they are going to charge you whatever they want as you arrive. I never had this issue before anywhere else, with this hotel chain.
Lamont is an outstanding employee who should be promoted to a much higher position within the company. His level of service is top notch and he is a great asset to your company.
This is a horrible place to stay unless you need a place to stay long term that is cheaper than a hotel, apartment, or anything similar to that. I arrived late and the man who checked me in hardly said anything to me. He didn’t tell me where anything was nor explain anything. Just gave me me keycard and sent me on my way. The hallway to my room reminded me of an entrance scene from an episode of CSI. It was dark and I did not feel safe. The room was so cheap and in poor quality. There was laminate countertops, a stove top out of the 70s. The bathroom door opened into the small kitchen which made the area between the area of the kitchen where the countertop met the bed and bathroom tight. There were stains on the carpet. There was hair and stains everywhere; the floor, the bed, the countertops, and the bedside tables. There was a hat and a big ball of hair under the bell. I didn’t dare sleep in the bed under the sheets nor did I risk using the shower. I only stayed here 1 night and fled to a better hotel. The two guys at the front desk when I checked out were nice and friendly. They helped me out quickly and the entire process was explained well.
It was doable, but the place does need to be updated/renovated. It looked very aged and I do agree with a reviewer that there is a certain smell to the place. It is a great location and quiet.
