What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. We stayed at the Garden Gates A on Spring Street property and absolutely loved it! The place was historic with what looked like original hardwood floors, but is updated and kept up nicely. One downside of older buildings is that you can hear just about everything outside it seems and the upstairs neighbors walking quite loudly. Thankfully, the walking wasn’t too disturbing as we were exhausted from our days and slept like babies, and the bedroom was somewhat tucked back in the house so street noise wasn’t as loud as it was in the living room. We loved being able to wake up and walk next door to grab coffee or walk 15 minutes to dinner on King Street. It was such a PERFECT location. We kept saying how this place would be a perfect little place to live for two people. Overall, a great time and a great rental! (Bonus points that Stay Duvet’s team members were SO kind and so accommodating when booking the stay!!)

  2. We had a wonderful time staying at the Promenade Airbnb in Charleston. We were there for a Girls Trip. Perfect location. A few blocks from King Street and right down the street from Holy City Bagels (we went every morning). The house was in great condition, we were given all the information needed and members from Stay Duvet were in contact and responded quickly to any questions or requests. Would definitely stay with them in the future!

  3. This house was perfect for our family’s long weekend in Charleston. The house has four bedrooms with king-sized beds, each with its own bathroom, so everyone was comfortable. The house is in a perfect location, about a 10-15 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants on King Street. I wish it had been cooler, so we could have enjoyed the little outdoor patios more. The property was immaculate, and the staff left us a nice welcome gift. Highly recommend!!!

  4. Absolutely amazing and beautiful! When we got there, the home was clean which was important for us and it was also furnished beautifully. There were three bedrooms three bathrooms, and a living area and kitchen. Also a laundry room. Good distance from the town shopping and only a 24 min drive to folly. The help desk was very helpful as well. We stayed at King Charles suite A.

  5. We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and free of clutter (which is extremely important for me and my family!). Check in was easy and the host was very responsive. Location is very close to Isle of Palm and Sullivan’s island. Many restaurant choices within 12-15 mins.

My little guy absolutely loved the house and the creek in the back. Lots of turtles, birds and ducks to feed. The back yard has ample space for eating for a family of 6, so it’s a wonderful place for dinner or breakfast. My son was so sad to leave, so we had to promise him that we will come back again.

Beautiful little inn. The room was spacious and comfortable and felt like home. We checked in late on our wedding night and were left instructions on how to get into the building and into the room. We were only there for maybe 12 hours and really only slept and showered there, but it was a great experience regardless. The bed was extremely comfortable and had a luxurious feeling. The bathroom and shower were very nice as well. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and stay for longer next time.

Wow! I don’t even know where to begin. This place is amazing! The rooms were very well decorated, super spacious and the staff was just incredible. Amy and David made our stay so inviting and comfortable. My daughter held her wedding across the street at the meeting room last weekend and it was just perfect. We had 35 family and friends attend and most of us stayed in the hotel. We held the reception afterward the wedding in the restaurant at the Inn and the food and service was five star as well. We also all gathered the day after the wedding to a Sunday brunch before everyone went back home. It was a picture perfect weekend. I highly recommend staying here and so glad that we have found the perfect place to stay when we come back to visit Charleston.

I don’t know where to begin with this review, everything was so perfect about our stay. We came to Charleston for a one night trip celebrating our 5 year anniversary. I booked this hotel by chance since we did not want to be downtown, and I’on is close enough to Shem Creek. We arrived in the early afternoon and were greeted by Amy. I believe she was Housekeeping but seemed to wear many hats! There was a young front desk agent as well who was very pleasant. They thoroughly explained the hotel, their rules and what to expect. The office closes in the evening, so they make sure to get each guest set up for the night before they close.

The whole property was a wow factor. I was in awe every time I turned a corner! The room and bathroom were stunning. The old time Charleston feel was not unnoticed. We loved the white tile bathrooms and showers, complete with cozy towels and robes. It poured for most of our weekend, but we were able to enjoy our complimentary breakfast on the balcony with some sunshine. Breakfast tasted great and was served promptly at our requested time. The room had a Keurig with plentiful K Cup options. We didn’t want to check out! I won’t stay anywhere else while visiting Charleston.

It is a perfect and beautiful space to enjoy your stay while you are in the city. The service is exceptional. David is the best of the best. Every suite has a designated parking spot.

Our room was spacious and welcoming. The king size bed was very comfortable. The manager David made our stay great by fulfilling every request we made and answering questions about Charleston and the surrounding areas. The Inn at I’On is now a boutique hotel, which means they may not serve breakfast in the busy season. That’s a shame because we enjoyed having breakfast delivered to our room and eating on the balcony porch outside of our room each morning. We were glad to stay in Mt. Pleasant, close to several beaches and Shem Creek. It was a short drive over the Ravenel Bridge to the main attractions in Charleston – carriage rides, art galleries, city market, museums. We had a delightful stay. Thanks David!

Stayed at the cottages on Charleston Harbor for our family vacation about 2 weeks ago. What a beautiful cottage , seaside cozy decorated , very clean, spectacular view, my boys loved seeing the cargo ships passing by in the harbor off the screened in back porch as did I in the mornings. Also, the staff were friendly and wonderful especially with reccomendations of things to do while visiting. We did a kayaking expedition and booked through the cottage loved our survival bag, even came with hats! Also, we did a beach lunch, they found a restaurant and packed our family picnic lunch , I asked if they had a beach umbrella that we could borrow, well the morning of our beach lunch, not only was a cooler outside our door with our lunch, there was a beach umbrella, beach chairs for the whole family, and sand toys, they really go above and beyond. Thank you so much to the Cottages on Charleston Harbor and your amazing and hard working staff- Octavia, Lisa, Alice, and Ryan for making our vacation a wonderful and memorable one. Thank you! It was a great trip we didn’t even want to leave!

This is our 4th year of staying at what our family deems, “Our Happy Place.” If we aren’t traveling globally, this is where we want to be. The cottages are beautiful, extremely clean, cozy and comfy, have exceptional views, and allow for a most wonderful family vacation. The amenities and attention to details always delight us and we simply adore the team that makes this place what it is…perfect! There’s no place we would stay, truly.

The good: location is very good. The staff was welcoming and friendly and prearrival info was very good. The bad: we were in unit4. The unit is surrounded by water which was the best views. However, once you go in the unit, it’s VERY dated. Nothing at all like pics online. Very dusty, old furnishings, pedestal sink was detached from wall, bathroom floors had all loose tiles, another bathroom the floor was caving in. TVs had to be manually operated. Was just very old and dated units. Would probably stay again if things were updated but for the costs, it wasn’t the best

We didn’t want to leave! My friend and I stayed in a two bedroom cottage. It was clean, beautifully decorated, had amazing views and had everything we needed for the week. The grounds are lovely and the area is nice as well. We walked on the docks for sunset, rose the hotel bikes to the aircraft carrier, had a massage at the hotel and ate at the restaurant across the parking lot. Quick ride over the bridge to downtown. Octavia was incredibly helpful, kind and accommodating. It was my friends birthday and she hung a sign on the fireplace and left Prosecco and glasses in the kitchen. Any questions or needs she was right there. Highly recommend and hope to return soon!

We had the most wonderful stay at The Cottages. The Cottage was so very welcoming and clean. The attention to detail was apparent, nothing was forgotten. The kitchen was very well equipped. The view from the back porch/veranda was exquisite. A short walk to the water taxi on Saturday, lots on the doorstep. The office so very accommodating, both checking in and out. We will most definitely be back again, I’m already looking at dates
