4 years agoThis is a gem. We stayed here for almost two weeks and by the end we felt very close with the owners. Although there is only one bed in the guest house, our 4 year old was very comfortable on an air mattress. Our stay was amazing! This house is such a charmer!! One of the things I loved is that the kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook. My husband and I felt very comfortable and at home here. The owner is so sweet and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The living room TV has a firestick so I was easily able to log into my Netflix and Hulu accounts when we were there just hanging out. Our stay was overall amazing and we will definitely be booking again!!!
Very lovely and quaint home to visit in. The aesthetics, amenities, and decor were top flight. The only demerit, which in no way reflects on the building or its management, is the neighboring university students partying until 4AM.
There are two beds, and one and a half baths, which were enough for our needs. The location is conveniently close to the street car route, allowing for access to dining, groceries, museums, and nightlife. We only drove in, to a nearby mountain range, and to leave. The proximity to transit resolved all other transportation needs.
I would highly recommend, provided you can sleep deeply and not be awoken by the local tailgaters.
Our family had an amazing stay here. Beautiful home, amazing location and very private as it is on it’s own lot. Oversees the beautiful twinkling lights of El Paso ???? Owner was very responsive and thought of lots of little details that make the stay even more beautiful.

My family and I wanted to throw a baby shower for our older sister, but needed a location to hold the party. My mother ran across the Hawthorn House and decided to look into it.
We loved what we saw and decided to hold the shower here at at the Hawthorn house – that was the BEST decision.
Ms. Nikki (the lady in charge) was wonderful in every way.
The house was gorgeous – we barely had to decorate.
When we arrived the day of the party the house was clean and ready.
We had so much fun that we asked if we could stay a little longer then we initially had said and Ms. Nikki said yes, no problem.
My family and I would 10/10 recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
