What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Being one of the only electronic stores in Vermont, I’ve never had any issues here. They always have a wide selection of electronics with great deals, I’ve purchased everything here from a coffee maker to a treadmill. The staff is always friendly, attentive to my needs and super chill. A great overall shopping atmosphere and experience.

  2. Normally I don’t care for Best Buy, generally the employees are useless and prices are high but yesterday I went with my room mate and an employee named David at the register was beyond helpful getting us what we needed when other employees didn’t feel like doing their job. He even looked to see if he could get us any discounts. He ended up getting us what we needed and answered questions in a very knowledgeable manner. Keep this guy, he’s how employees should be.

  3. Infuriating experience at Best Buy where they, after telling me prior to purchase that they would help with my setup, refused to help me set up my new phone once the payment was done. They moved my sim card, but nothing else to get photos and contacts. I was then told I’d then have to schedule an appointment, and pay an additional $40 for help with the data transfer for thr brand new android I had just bought from them. I spoke with the manager who was abrasive, rude and dismissive. I was treated as though I was being completely unreasonable for expecting the service I was told would be provided. The “manager” then proceeded to trash talk Verizon customer service AS he refused any customer service on the new phone he had just sold.

Went across the road to Verizon where Patrick courteously and professionally helped me with my new phone even though I hadn’t bought it from him.
Thank you, Patrick! Skip Best Buy, go to Verizon. Seriously. They’ll never see another dime from me.

  4. Absolute worst customer service of any Best Buy you’ll ever visit, I can assure you. Waited over a half hour to have the ear buds case opened to purchase a pair. Asked two separate employees for help. I didn’t have questions, just wanted the item so I could walk to the check out counter to pay for it. No one ever came. Decided to just leave and purchase from Amazon. Coincidentally another clearly dissatisfied customer was asking to speak with a manager about his experience as we were leaving. Can’t believe this location is still in business with how far their customer service has declined.

  5. I was just there and needed to buy 2 phones and a new iPad….the person sitting at the door asked if I needed help, and I answered, yes, I need 2 phones. And he spun his chair and pointed. He didn’t get up, he didn’t offer help. So I went to the phones and waited some more…I saw 4 different employees chatting with each other, and NONE of them approached me to help. I feel that as a customer, I shouldn’t have to chase a sales person down and convince them to sell me something. I went into this store expecting to spend at least $2000. I will not come back. And I will share this experience with anyone that asks.

It’s a home electronics store. Prices are competitive, so if you have no patience to wait for Amazon or the manufacturer to ship it to you, you *might* be able to find it in person here. Might being the keyword: limited options are kept in stock at any given time. For TVs, you can get them for less at Walmart just across the road. For stereo equipment, in stock options are extremely limited. For home appliances, you have more selection just down the road at Home Depot. Really, this store is mostly a cell phone store than anything else. Here, you can try out a wide variety of cell phones to see which feel best in your hand.

I went in to buy a drone. Their system said there was one in stock however, two employees turned the store inside/out but could not find it anywhere. Many thanks to those two young men for trying so hard.

Not being able to call the store directly can be a serious problem, especially if you left something important there. We live 20 miles away and left 3 messages with the call center to have someone from the store call us in order to verify and secure our property. I’d drive back right now but we’re having a blizzard and driving is not advisable. Perhaps we should cancel our $850 pending order?

Purchased a computer 1 month ago. Tried to call store to ask about setting up Geek Squad support and apply for credit card. 7 yes 7 times I was transferred to “someone who could help” and yet still no one able to help. Come to find out you cannot call the actual store, calls go somewhere that employs all persons having a language barrier and unable to answer questions outside of their script! Worst service ever!!!!

I ordered a TV for pick up after Walmart lost my order. By the next morning they had it ready for me, came to my car and loaded it. So much better service.
