- Reviews:I recommend eating here! I have been eating here for 5 days, I come for dinner after work and get my lunch for the next day. The food here is excellent and the service is great. Their tomkha is fantastic and they have many vegetarian options. I love the variety of choices they offer. The vegetarian sushi rolls are very good but typical of what you’d see for choices no super special rolls. The portions are big and filling. The atmosphere is relaxing. I wish I could pick this place up and take it with me. A good place for a family dinner or dinner date with your significant other or even alone. Ingredients taste fresh and authentic very happy with my experience all around they definitely earned 5 stars from me.By J Hell (a year ago)Food is always good. Service is decent. I ordered takeout one time, and the guy getting my order asked me if I tipped and to make sure I tip well. That made me want to not tip at all.By Andrea Roberts (2 weeks ago)My Thai Cafe & Sushi Bar West was a good choice. Plenty of seating. Service was pleasant. The food was delicious (as always) and fairly quick. Our visit was great, no complaints and will happily return if we’re on the West Side.By Alex Rittenhouse (a year ago)The rolls diamter was smaller than expected but very tatsy. But the boat platter was very good. It tasted fresh and looked well made. I liked every piece of it.By Eder (a year ago)Tom Yum Talay soup is great! Spice level 3 makes my mouth burn and nose run so maybe I’ll go down to spice 2 next time. Great quiet little space for great Thai food.By Brian Cloud (a month ago)

- Reviews:This is my Honest opinion Asuka is the very best sushi place in Bloomington! I have eaten here over 80 times and the service is always excellent, be it alone or in a large group. The sushi’s is superb! The hibachi grill is excellent and entertaining. There sushi menu is the best in town, and has a large amount of sushi and sashimi!! The size of the rolls here is also excellent!! My favorite dish is the sushi love boat for 2!! It’s amazing even for one person and is served on a large boat I have had this on 10 occasions. After eating here no other sushi place in Bloomington comes close and I have tried them all!!By LEE The Paladin (6 months ago)First time having Hibachi and it did not disappoint! The Chef was very nice and food was prepared perfectly. Service was top tier. Loved the sushi and it was very fresh with a-lot of opinions, actually ate it before my Hibachi was done. Would love to go with a group of friends. I will definitely be going back.By Heather S. (5 months ago)Food was really good. We got the seafood hibachi for two with noodles and it was excellent the tiger and godzilla sushi was so good. My wife got the Ramon with shrimp with bone broth and loved it. The hibachi chef was really entertaining and put on a really good show. This was our first time trying a place like this and we will be back again.By Robert Wilder (10 months ago)Cute place to hangout. California roll was okay. Sake was great.By Dhanya Kashyap (2 months ago)I like the restaurant side better then the hibachi one. Everything on the menu is worth trying. Appetizers are great. Crunchy-est shrimp tempura I’ve ever had. Sushi is good. Maki rolls are very large and filling. The Chinese menu is equally as large and awesome as the Japanese menu. Orange chicken was crispy and the sauce was very flavorful. Price is a couple dollars higher than others but worth it.By Pie L (2 months ago)

We could smell the oils from the street as they were cooking inside. The place looked very nice and was decorated for Valentine’s Day. The massaman curry with chicken was delicious. The Thai iced tea sweet I’m very good as well. Definitely recommend this place and we’ll be coming back again soon hopefully.
9/22/22: Went there on a lovely Monday afternoon while I was under the weather. The fried rice and the noodles were just so excellent! It made me feel much better afterwards. We asked the waitress about the sauces they used but they didn’t want to tell us the real sauce only generic names.

Came back for the same drunk noodles!!!!! Good as expected. Best Thai food in town!!! No more words!
One of the best Crab Rangoons I have ever had. Thai tea was too sweet. Can be made better.
Spring rolls were amazing. Great place near IUB.
We tried the drunken noodles and eggplant Thailand. Both were excellent and tasty. The papaya salad was good. The restaurant is in the campus area with an affordable menu and generous servings. Enough for breakfast and lunch the next day. The service is quick and attentive.
Siam House is an amazing place to go eat at. The food was so delicious and our server was funny and recommended us his favorite meal from the restaurant. If you’re in the area you have to check out Siam House.
